Hello all, when I fly the PMDG 737-800 NGX by hand - using the joystick wingman force 3d - it´s difficult to keep an altitude... very often the needle runs up and down... I have set the sensitivity very low and the "neutral-area" very large (button to the right)... I have to correct the altitude all the times... how can I work more excactly and relaxed with the joystick flying by hand????RegardsNorbert

I've been getting frequent crashes with the error code g2d.dll when running FSPassengers and The NGX.I have addressed the UIAutomationcore.dll files and discovered that they are not responsible, and reloaded them as they are needed for other programs.Everything (REX,ORBX and the like) seem to work fine, with all other a/c including the PMDG 747-400X which flies just fine...Is there something in the NGX model that's causing this?Would love to hear from other FSPassengers users using the NGXThanksChrisSystem: Intel Core I7 2.67Ghx, 12MB RAM, NvIDIA 560ti 1GB Windows 7

I have been experiencing CTDs with NGX SP1 when a FSX menu action is selected. Through troubleshooting process, I have isolated one possible cause. After testing with and without GoFlight ver 2.03 installed, I was able to tie the CTD on selection of the FSX meun to installation of ver 2.03. The CTDs began occuring about the same time that I upgraded to ver 2.03 at the end of October.Question: Those who are experiencing CTD when FSX menus are selected, do you have GoFlight software installed. Is it ver 2.03? Once again, on multple cycles with and without ver 2.03 installed, I've been able to tie the CTD and installation of this ver together as a possible culprit.I'm go…

Just thought I'd share something...So for the last month I been flying -700 routes.Nothing else, although joy rides into 2000 foot runways in the -600 don't count . Anyway, I thought I would do a charter in the Delta -800, which I haven't touched in a while...As I entered the cockpit, I realized the differences between the 7 and 800 cockpit(mainly the Air conditioning system), Set up from cold and dark no problem, all is well...Until I started taxiing, I could not get the darn thing to stop! I overran EVERY taxi way in the airport, even had to make an Aeroflot 767 go around because I miscalculated where I was going to brake! Finally(safely) on the runway, takeoff wasn't a…

Hi everyoneI have been flying the NGX since release and have been learning (or trying to learn!) the systems and its complexities. One main issue I have continually had is my Saitek Throttle and A/T issues where the A/T disconnects at various points (even though I have disabled the manual override) if I move the levers slightly A/T will re engage(?) so anyone else have a fix (I have aregistered copy of FSUIPC and have calibrated using this)My new issue that has me well and truly confused is this:Aircraft set up from C&D. Flightplan entered, fuel loaded and fully configured, taxi, take off and climb no issues until I reach TA and the aircraft will not climb using VNAV A…

Flying 737NGX and FSX with typical add ons (see my sig) and thinking of replacing my T.Flight HOTAS Thrustmaster Joy/Throttle with the (pricey) Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Joy/Throttle combo.Question: Are any of you using this device to fly the PDMG 737NGX in FSX? If yes, can you tell me if you're satisfied with the performance of this controller, particularly as regards to control of the airplane both in terms of steering and thrust?I purchased and returned the Saitek pro flight yoke and rudder pedal combo. Let's just say I was dissatisfied with both items from a flight control perspective, not to mention what I regarded as extremely 'iffy' construction and performance…

Hi,When an ILS-approach is not in the FMC's database the G/S will not arm (??) after selecting APP mode. I'm not sure this should happen in RL but if so, can somebody explain me how to arm the G/S of an ILS which is not in the database? For example: ESSA RNW26.Kind regards,

The combination of retractable and fixed landing lights gives me the look in the picture, and it's really very bright. If I turn off one or the other, than it's much easier on the eyes. Would something like this be editable perhaps?

This is something that is starting to pee me off! For some reason, the last few flights I have been unable to reduce power sufficiently on my approaches. Power will not fall below about 40%Ni and I have to use full spoilers abd flaps to get the plane down on the ground. Not ideal. The power simply appears not to want to drop. Is there something I am doing wrong. I read elsewhere on the forumn that a few other guys were experiencing the same issue. Is this a bug, or as I said, is it something I am doing wrong? Help is quickly needed, thanks guys.

These days magazines are full of magic bullet reports when it comes to SSDs being able to speed up PCs. While my iMac has done a fairly good job of running FSX and the new 737NGX, when it comes to more complex scenery, the hard disk shows its lack of high performance.A while back I bought myself an OCZ Technology 240 GB Vertex 3 SSD and put together a new system with an ASUS P8P67 motherboard, a i7-2600K CPU and an ASUS GTX 580 graphics card. I was most impressed by the overall system speed, particularly anything that involved data being read or written to the SSD. I have always enjoyed tinkering with PC technology, and yes, it tends to be a rather expensive hobby if you …

I built a flight plan and filed it on VATSIM after connecting to UK network when starting up Squawkbox 4.I departed from Brussels (EBBR) where there was NO ATC and reported my actions/position on Unicom 122.8 all throughout the flight.I flew all the way to England and was on Base leg to the final for rwy 27L (the active) and NO ONE advised me to contact ANY ATC controller. I flew Unicom until I acquired the localizer at which point I spoke with EGLL (Heathrow) tower and he was with me to the ground and taxiways. NOTE: I was the one who initiated the conversation with EGLL tower. Once I had acquired I came on and gave my callsign and informed I had acquired the localiz…
