  3. Hey everyone! I have a question:I can sucessfully complete the tutorial flight, but I do not know how to do any other routes. For Example: I don't know how to fly from KLAS to KLAX and finish in an ILS into runway 24L. Does anyone recommend a website I can find out the best route with all the information such as SIDS, STARS, and the correct waypoints?Thanks to much!!!

I am trying to install the Aloha Airlines livery and when I select the variant I'm directed to on the left side of the livery manager, then browse to the livery file and select it, it says the variant isn't installed or something along those lines. What's up on this? I was able to reinstall two liveries I had used prior to SP1, but this new livery won't install.Thanks!Noel

    Hi all,I have uninstalled FSX, but forgot to uninstall all of the addons first. I know its stupid, but @#$% happens... SO I want to reinstall FSX and did. But I double clicked the .exe file to reinstall the NGX, it said "setup is starting" but then it says I have a previous version installed which I need to uninstall.. SO i go to Add or remove Programs and hit uninstall PMDG 8900 or whatever, but then more @#$% happens and it tells me that Setup.exe has stopped working.Oh no.What can I do? the NGX files got sent to hell when I uninstalled FSX. There is no trace of any NGX installation on my hard drive.Help would be appreciated!Thanks,BK

    Sometimes when I buy an addon scenery , the addon waypoints or airports are not in the 737 database. The fmc does not know the icao code. I bought Antartica X by aerosoft. In the documentation and research I found a testflight of a boeing 757 that landed at an Antartica airstrip. Qantas does a tour and flies over Antartica. I think it would be great to recreate these flights. However; serveral waypoints are not in the fmc database.Is there a way to add this in the database?

    Hi GUys !I installed the hotfix and seems i solved mostof problems i had. Anyway i strangly have a problem when i load the aircraft i use the fmc for dark and cold. I swith on battery, stand by power ground connection allign irs and so on when the IRS is alligned on the PD i have the vertical speed with the red vertical line along the scale. I show u a pic of what i see but itis not the NGX but a pic of a plane found on internet but on the NGX is the same..I didnt touch anything at least i think i didnt.. I experienced the freezing issue on the 800, but it disappeared after the SP1 - now it's back.Have I missed something obvious here guys?     Whenever I complete a flight, I save the panel state and then reload it on the next flight. Recently, for the first time, I began to have s-turns, but, at first, I tried to fix them by changing the rudder trim, until I finally realized that I should disable turbulence effects. Now, every time I load a panel state, the rudder is all the way to the right or left, and I can't move it; the rudder trim says it's at zero, but when I click on the knob, the gauge update and shows the trim is either full left or full right, and thus, I have to re-trim the rudder to zero on every flight or I can't move the rudder.     HiWas hoping someone could point me in the right direction.I am trying to do a VOR approach in the NGX, I learnt how to do it in the MD-11 so have managed to work out everything I need to do in the NGX except how to select and view descent angle.I.e. I do not want to select my descent speed in feet, instead as per the VOR approach for LGKR I need to select a descent angle of 3.38 degrees once I pass GAR waypoint at 2900 feet.So does anyone know how I can tell what my descent angle is in the NGS as I can not seem to find how to select it or see it displayed any where.Thanks in advance

    Regarding Win7 64 systems: This is probable old news for most of you, but if there are anyone out there who missed this it might be of some help. I have played with the NGX some time now, and I have yet to experience any CTD (knock wood). My suspicion is that putting these dll files into the FSX root folder will actually increase overall stability. This is not scientifically proven though...but it wont hurt either. The reason for my claim is that before getting hold of these dlls, I would experience CTD with 90% predictability when fiddling with FMC on the MD-11.     Hi there. Just did a short flight from VOBG to VABB. Everything is fine, but i was not able to update the FORCAST page with the winds and RTE and LEGS pages with the new waypoints after starting the descent. In the FORCAST page i am able to type it into the scratch pad but cannot enter it in LSK corresponding to winds information spaces. It also says invalid. About the RTE and LEGS page, I am not able to any way point after executing the flight plan. Though typing it into the scratch pad it just stays there.     HiI was using this aircraft for the second time and attempting a cold start.When I start the APU, the EGT rises to peak at about 7 then drops back to 4 and stays there. If I try to turn it off, it remains at 4. This doesn't seem correct.Does anyone have any comment about that?Also, what is the best way to cold start this aircraft? I just switched everyhting off then saved the panel state, and it's this that I'm loading now when I start it although the battery is always on for some reason.CheersJason

I was on the GS to do a full auto-land at KLAS (25R) and my speed was set in the speed window at VREF+5.Then the speed slowly dropped off to about 100kts and the aircraft stalled. Luckily I managed to recover and land safely. LAND3 was active at the time and all other functions seemed normal. I've checked all the obvious things like was the A/T and A/P on and all was set up exactly as it always is. I was landing into a diagonal x-wind of about 8kts, so no drama there. The only remedial action I took was that I clicked the speed button off then on again and moved the speed dial up and down a bit then back to VREF+5. The speed then crept slowly back up …
