I understand when you have coordinates like 14000W 2300N; you put it in this format: 1423W. But what about something like this. 13500W 2600N? since the FMC allows only 5 digit entrys for waypoints how do you enter that. 13526W wouldnt work.

Hi,As we all know, 737 Cold and Dark cockpits tend to be, well, Cold and Dark! Only issue is, it's dark at night.Sometimes, I find myself opening the 2D panel(!), something I swore not to do as a virtual pilot, to find the BAT and Standby Power switches, so I can finally see!Is it possible to just model some light where ever your mouse is? That would be a life-saver for really anybody who flies at night, although I don't know if thats a difficult thing to do...Any thoughts?,

Hi thereWhenever I'm planning my FMC for my flight, when I get my trim number (say 6.09) I can't always put it into the trim wheel. Could this be a problem?What I mean is, if you use your mouse to trim, you will notice that it skips around by like .30, and when I use my Saitek Yoke's B1 and B2 buttons, it skips around by like .2 or .3, but it doesn't always go to exactly what I want, like if the FMC says 6.09 I can sometimes only put in 6.08 or 6.10. Could this be a problem?

Hello all, here to tell you about my unknown crash. When departing from PAKT for KSEA this morning everything was routine, other than a little snow and some wind.I did everything I usually do and had the aircraft on the runway for take off after deciding with my flight dispatcher that the conditions were safe to take off. I used anti ice, pitot heat winsheild heat and every thing as usual, and had no problem making it to cruise altitude at 36000 feet. About 30 seconds after reaching cruise, all he'll broke loose. I got an odd air-conditioning warning on the master warning display, and just put it to manual, not to big of a problem, and I continued my route with manual air…

While digesting a lot of turkey, gravy, mashed taters, etc., etc., I decided to organize all the liveries I have downloaded from the AVSIM library. I am left with about 12 or 15 sets of texture files that have no accompanying ptp files. So, my question is: How do you take these texture files and convert them into a ptp file? I have. Not happy.I was on final for runway 01 ILS at Brisbane (YBBN) when stupid FSX vectored a Singapore 777 in on the same approach at the same time. I saw him come across the top of me and before I could move out of the way the NGX rolled over upside down and plunged to the ground. I couldn't do anything about it. We didn't collide and had about 100 feet separation. I don't know what happened.I had been flying with other traffic turned off. Yesterday I turned it back on for a change and look what happens.

Hi there,Everything seems fine on my ngx but I was wondering if there was a way to load my manually typed flight plans after I have saved it in the fmc, when it's saved there is no option to title it either so it's hard to track down.On some flights I don't mind retyping the plan in but I have 100's of easy and complex plans that are matched with PFE and sometimes little time to fly, so once I saved them through the ngx fmc it would be good to access them again for future flights.I have been through the manuals and search and can't find the 'load' button.Any ideas?Chris Farrell

I would like to see the US Navy varients of the 737-700. The C-40A Clipper and the P-8A Poseidon. This would open up military bases around the world for missions. Both are based on the 737-700. The C-40 is a general personnel carrier that replaces the C-9 and the P-8A replaces the P-3 Orion sub hunter/killer. I read recently that Boeing had developed and built a 737 bomber, but that may be going a little too far. Anyway those are my thoughts.WING87

This has happened with both the ngx and the 747x. Im using active sky weather and the latest fsuipc (non registered). In the middle of the flight the aircraft will just start climbing anywhere from 3000 to 8000fpm. I disengage autopilot and change the trim and the aircraft is still very resistant to descend. I read a post about this somewhere else but it didn't answer my question.and usually 5 minutes or so later the aircraft will correct itself and begin descending to its assigned altitude.

Forgive me for asking, but is a texture resizer for the external textures still in the works so that we dont have to manually do it ourselves using photoshop or other image editing software? It's makes a big difference for those of us still using older 32bit systems when it comes to view from the external mode if we can knock them down to 1024. Although it's a bit of a pain in the rear doing it manually and hence I have only downloaded and installed one paint since the NGX came out. Maybe if we could get some type of .bat file that we could use or something like that it would be great.Also, post SP1 I noticed that all the .air files are marked as "read only" where as all …

Back when I purchased this plane everything worked great. The last couple of months I have been using the MD11 and now I wanted to start back up on the 737. I go to select the plane in FSX's main menu and I get a screen that is saying I need an activation code, and then FSX crashes. I saw on this site there was a problem with this back in August but what do I need to do? Thanks in advance

Hi,Just have another problem with FSX. I'm already using FSDT KJFK KORD LSGG and LSZH for a long long time now, and never had any problems. I'm trying to get support on the FSDT forum also, but right here are most of the time a lot of clever people who might be able to solve this problem with me. Yes I know this is a little off topic... My problem is that everytime I load my aircraft on one of those four FSDT airports, or approach one of those airports, the sim crashes to desktop, saying "fatal error occured...". I tried uninstalling FSDT sceneries along with it's add-on manager. After that I deleted every FSDT folder manually also from the appdata folder. I reinstalled…

The A/S on the PFD consistently shows 40-45kt when the aircraft is stopped, indeed right after loading the aircraft. I have seen similar A/S values after rollout and coming to a complete stop on the taxiway as well - Wind in the accompanying screenshot is 222/10, and the airplane is sitting at the gate.I have seen this behavior in the base package, SP1 and 600/700 addon package. Anyone else see this? Is there an explanation?

WhenI was fluying the 737 sim, I made a turn that caused the "BANK ANGLE" alarm to go off. I asked the instrtuctor is tat a problem for the passangers. He said no, but I would get a nasty message at the gate from Operations. He said Operations sees everything we do and all alarms are reported back to them.What kind of stuff is a do you get yelled at for? and what will get you in big trouble? What can Operations see?Over speeding, bank angles, ???

I have found when I fly on VATSIM using FSINN for some reason, NGX stutters when I am connected. If I disconnect, all is well; but as soon as I reconnect, the stutters return.I have cross checked using other aircraft on FSINN and have no issues; just with NGX. VNAV is working fine for the most part, but how can you reestablish VNAV when changing the landing runway? At cruise altitude, once you line select a different runway and transition, VNAV disconnects. The waypoint speeds are deleted from the legs page and the TOD info is missing from the Descent page. From this point on I'm having to rely on Flight Change and/or vertical speed only, but there must be a way to get VNAV usable again. Any tips would be most welcome.

Hi all-I thought I would try here first before going over to AivlaSoft.When exporting a flight plan created in Vroute and modified in EFB (including the destination runway) into the FMC, the 737 does not pick up the glide slope when I press the App button, but the VOR loc is just fine. I've flown the exact same route with the destination runway NOT being exported via EFB (I add it in the FMC directly) and the GS is detected and the flare text appears as normal. Has anyone else run into this?Thanks,Mark
