Well this is one of my favorite routes for my NGX 600, Vancouver to West Kootenay Regional, now its only certified for daytime ops and Im pretty sure that its a prop only airport but what the heck I love it, also while I do have charts there are no approach data provided by navigraph, so do my own visual approach dubbed the River Valley Approach, sounded cool Anyways hope you like and I would love to get this thread going with your adventures.. http://youtu.be/cH_nwe67IOo

Dear PMDG: First of all, thank you for this wonderful 737NGX addon! But for us, the 2D dinosaurs, also some of your customers, could we have 2D throttle quadrant & F/O panels back, just like the old 737NG/744X/MD11X in the next patch? They are really important for us.Please consider it!

Just wondering if this is normal- i almost always seem to need some rudder input to keep me centered as I'm taking off...the issue then is once I lift off I start to turn slightly in whatever direction the rudder is. I've got the saitek pedals configured to the settings the manuf recommends.I don't notice any wind registering on the PFD...and I'm pretty sure its not me overcorrecting (thats what I thought it was initially)is this normal?

Anybody know what the purpose of the changable digits on the right handle of the yoke are for?

I use the FSX menu 'save' option wheb saving a particular fllght with PMDG Boeing 3700. Configurations of cockpit, panel and other operating features are saved except for those that have been input to the CDU which takes additional time in replacing. Any remedies please? User name Jimbo1812

Hey guys, I'm having that issue with the NGX again in windowed form. The only thing I changed is that I downloaded Flytampa's TNCM and the 600/700. Is there a chance that this .dll is being accessed by the TNCM scenery?

Hi guys. I don't know if this has been posted before, my apolgies if it has, but I've been having a problem. I purchased the 600/700 expansion pack with required SP1. I installed SP1, and the first problem arised when I opened the aircraft menu in FSX. My 600/700 was present with all the liveries, but every single livery I owned on the 800/900, which must have been in the twenties, had gone - only the PMDG liveries remained. Upon checking the folders for the 800/900, all the livery folders were still present. So I deleted every single livery folder and downloaded/reinstalled each and every one all over again, which obviously was very time-consuming. I opened FSX again and…

My new Audio FX Pro Headset came by FedEx today. It was the very last thing I needed to try flying online. I have registered at VATSIM, and done a lot of reading. I am very confident flying the NGX. I can manipulate the FMC in the air to any forseeable ATC direction. The only thing I am a bit worried about is the unknown. I don't have a clue what to expect from ATC from the gate to departure. After that, I would be okay. Even arrivals don't worry me much. I am also a little confused about how to hook up your computer to VATSIM. Hi,I have a few questions. When doing some procedure turns, I find it hard to figure out which bank angle to use. I read in another topic that the rule of thumb for the 737 is: 15% of TAS (True Air Speed). So for example your TAS is 150 KTS. So your bank angle is 0.15 x 150 = 22.5 degrees. But of course your bank angle for the procedure turn does also depend on the turn radius specified on the chart, correct?So I have two questions: 1. The definition of the turn radius is half of the diameter of the turn, correct? I have been having a great time tooling around the country in my PMDG 738 for a few months now. This past weekend I decided to try a start up from cold and dark using a tutorial I found here some time back. I got the plane up and running and learned quite a bit along the way. The only problem(s) I had were with my DUs. I could not get my flight plan (programmed as usual into my FMC) to show on my DU. I switched it to PLN mode and nothing showed up. What did I miss ? I´ve just purchased the 737 NGX base pack and have a problem when using 2D panel: The front view only shows the ground right in front of the aircraft. Seems to be a problem with the standard view settings. I can fix it temporarily using CTRL + Space of course, but when changing direction of view and returning to front view I look down to the ground again...Is there any way to fix this problem permanently? Could someone enlighten me of the attraction wanting to fly Business jets please?I haven't posted this to decry from PMDG sales so please don't assume that but would dearly like to know where the attraction of flying one consist's of?Flying the normal passenger jets gives you the feeling of doing it for real with the passenger and cargo weights to cater for and there is a certain amount of realism in doing so. I have never been inside a BBJ, I have only seen pictures of them.If I was lucky enough to ride inside one I may see the attraction so am I to assume that loads of people that flightsim have?Please give me the comparisons? Hi,Just discovered another problem. I think it's FSX related but I'm not sure. As you know, when the mouse pointer is not used for a few seconds, it always automaticly disappears. But my problem is, that it doesn't disappear at all! Well, I don't like having this white thing in my screen all the time, and also it reduces FPS a little. When I start a flight at the gate, it's all normal. But after a few minutes, the mouse pointer does not want to disappear anymore. Since about a week, I'm using REX weather engine, with the Weather Avoidance System also running in the background. I think that might be the problem. Can any of you commercial guys tell us what simulator software is used by airlines for their simulators?I'm sure it varies from airline to airline, and that some may have their own proprietary software, but I recently watched a Level-D simulator on You Tube, and the graphics for the airport and surrounding area sure did look like bare bones FS9. I've also been told that some use a commercial version of X-Plane (Level 5?).Anyway, if anyone knows for sure, I'd appreciate them sharing.Hope everyone is well and enjoying the NGX.

I finally purchased the 737NGX and I agree with other comments. It is the best around, second to none. You folks at PMDG have hit the ball out of the park.
