can someone explain to me why you should have the APU running when making this page ?i believe and can see it will change the N1 % reduction but i dont know why it does that/ThanksMichael

HelloI have this problem often with the PMDG 737NGX, crashes when loading so have to go and remove the last situation from the fsx.cfg and then load up the default flight file, I can then load up the file that contains the NGX, very annoying. After re saving the situation if I am lucking I can load straight to that situation from FSX a couple of times then the same issue over and over, happened a little bit before SP1 now 90 percent of the time unfortunately

Hi All..I don't spend half the time I would like to, flying the brilliant aircraft that PMDG keep producing.. I have their 737NG (FS9), 747-400X, MD-11X and now the best of all, 737NGX. I keep buying these aircraft, but never really learn how to fly them properly....all i ever do is an ILS approach CATIII Autoland. That's because it's the only way I know how to land these heavyweights. So I am looking for some good tutorials on other types of approaches, like visual, vor, non-precision..etc etc. Has any, kind fellow pilot(s) got any idea where I can find a good indepth tutorial on different types of approaches, please... I'm probably not the first one to report this, but for some reason my TOD is always off, resulting in the plane going into 6000fpm descent or even more often VNAV kicking off with the Descent path unachievable error on the FMC.No matter what I try it constantly does this, I always set the runway and the correct altitudes for the STAR yet it constantly happens, am I missing something here? I even try starting the descent early but no luck. Is this a bug or is it something I'm forgetting here?ThanksTrystan

Did a search on the form for the 737max, didn't really find the answer to it.Will we be getting a 737max model update / visual or systems update? im sure the answer might beno because nobody still has a clue about the aircraft. Just though I would ask!Cheers

I completed a flight today with the IFLY 737NG in FS9 and it was an unforgetable experience. I can hardly wait now for Bryan to wave his magic for the NGX that I know will be awesome. If you guys want total immersion, this addon (when it surfaces) will be the icing on the NGX's cake and I heartily reccomend it.

HiGot this really annoying issue with the PMDG 737NGX engine sounds and wondering if this happens to anyone else...Flying along a cruise level, engines humming along as they should. Flying the approach which the engines throttled back and then it hits me...the engine is still at the same noise level as if its still in the cruise. I hit pause then unpause and all is well, back to the way it should be. Does this fairly often and its bugging me. (hope this makes sense)Anyone else experiencing this?Thanks,Garry

This has to be one of the top 5 most dangerous airport approaches in the world. The FSX Default scenery is horrible but Thai Creations did a nice FS9 version. Hey everyone. If you're running FSX and have gotten tired of the VORTAC frequency difference between FSX's navaid scenery and the real-world change --- then I have a solution. I've edited the bgl files for FSX's main scenery and also the one for FS DreamTeam's KFLL scenery. I've changed the frequency to coincide with the real-world freq of 116.5 (versus the old 114.4 freq). All you have to do is: 1) backup your current file in fsx's scenery folder (called nvx03020.bgl) and if you have FS DreamTeam's scenery for FLL, it's in the FS DreamTeam scenery folder (called AF_KFLL.bgl). If you'd like the updated files, please PM me and I'll email them to you.

Hi all in the forumPreparing a flightplan from EPWR to EGSS (using Vroute free version) two points on the plan I did not understand the format of. These were:RASUT/N0340F280 andNAROX/N0450F360In my ignorance I ignored the number part and just entered the names which the CDU accepted and had a great flight. Captains,As I enjoy the NGX from city to city, one thing in particular has been bothering me. The cookie cutter runway markings, like the numbers, dashes, threshold markers, distance markers...etc are all perfectly white. No discoloration at all. A repainted runway would not even look as white as the markings in FSX. I do have REX 2.0 Overdrive, but it does not include a texture for these runway markings. Thus, I am left with nice tire marks and cracks like a weathered runway, but perfect runway markings. I know Orbx solved the issue, but I am looking for a complete replacement that would allow all runways to have scuffed or more dull runway markings. Again, I have not fo…

Hi all,I have just got my new PC whose specifications listed below;i5-2500K,MSI GTX 580 Twin FrozR IIMSI Z68A-GD80 (B3)Geil Enhance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz,Seagate Barracuda 1 TB 7200 RPM 32 MB.I've been testing this computer for 5-6 hours and the frame rates are very low like 20-25, may be down to 5-15 in hard conditions. Hey guys,After a troubleshooting process with FlyTampa, I've related the problem I've been having with fullscreen/windowed form back to the NGX. Is anyone else having this problem? I can't switch between windowed forms withough everything going crazy. It sounds like the same problem that people have with the ENB mod, which I'm not using. Any insight anyone?Thanks

Hi Guys,Just noticed a minor glitch on the EFIS Control Panel switching logic. Here is the scenario:During pre flight set up, I normally set the Minima(Baro) bar to the thrust reduction altitude and QNH on the Captain's PFD. Instead of doing the same on the right side, as a shortcut, I just move the DISPLAYS Control Panel switch to BOTH ON 1. Automatically, the Baro and Minima setting I have made will change on the F/O's PFD to match the Captain's side, which is correct. Once I move the switch back to the NORMAL, the baro and minima readings on the F/O's PFD go back to what they were prior to "syncing" the two. Also, I have not tried the reverse, which is to do the same f…

Hi i am having a slight problem, when i take off and climb to FL280, a sort of takeoff config warning is coming on. I have the apu bleed switch on and both engine bleed switched off. I am just wondering whether this has anything to do with the warning sound. I also have packs to auto and isolation valvue to open.Kind Regards Chris

I have had a play with the PMDG and MSFS options, including setting the start up panel state as C&D. I can't get the aircraft started now and want to go back to "engines running" on start up until I get it worked out. Any help please?
