PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

    Something going strange with my 737. So, on ground everything is fine with the Reverse Thrust. Hardware and 737 is working fine. In Flight, when I touch down and I kick in the Reverse nothing is working. When the plane is rolling out and the speed is near zero the Reverse kicks in. Any Idea?

    Hi guys,Going from the 747 to the NGX today I am quick to notice that when doing turns and changes in attitude, I do get stutter when looking outside,I do check these things closely, it may just be how FSX is supposed to be, but with around 30fps in the VC I am surprised to see them.Do others get this?Alex

Hi Everyone:I am confused about something - if I am flying an RNAV Approach and have VNAV and LNAV enabled (and have dialed down the lower altitudes I need), is it necessary to hit the APP approach button as well? Will this even do anything? Or if I don'thit the APP button with LNAV and VNAV enabled, will the aircraft automatically begin to fly down the glideslope when it hits the Final Approach Fix as expected? (like doing an ILS approach)Thanks,Chris Catalano

    As the title suggests, how do I set the stabilizer trim in the 2D panel? There must be somewhere in 2D that tells me my stab setting...???Note that I have disabled my VC (by commenting out the interior model) because I do not use it and it reduces my sim performance. I also find it unrealistic and cumbersome for procedural training (my main use). Cheers,Bryn Battersby

    Hi everyoneCan someone please educate me?, since I installed the NGX SP1 update, my hydraulics elec 1 and elec 2 pumps have been getting overheated, it only happen when I start from cold and dark, doesn't matter what I do or how I set up the aircraft my hydraulics elec 1 and elec 2 pumps will always overheat, can someone tell me why it happens and how to get rid of it?, I have service-based failures active on my ngxthis one is with the hydrauclic pumps offthis one is with the hydraulics pumps onNygel Norman

    On approach to 16L at KSEA the glide slope was indicating right on however the VASI lights are showing me high. My error was I forgot to set the Baro on the altimeter. It was set at 29.92 and should have been at 30.1. I am curious why the glide slope was not showing me high. Is it tied to the altimeter in some way or is there an additional way I screwed up in addition to the Baro setting?Thanks for any comments. I hope the attached photo helps.Tom Hibben

    When running the AivlaSoft Electroinc Flightbag together with the NGX, FSX frequently (sometimes three times on a short flight from EHAM to EGKK) freezes up ("Not responding" message in the title bar, and window goes misty when clicked; must use Task Manager to stop FSX). This doesn't happen with the NGX without the EFB, and I have just made a quick flight in the Level D 767 with EFB and there were no problems there.I have Win-7 64bits with Ultimate Traffic II as the only other addin.

    Captains,I am trying to do a fresh repair of Flight Simulator X. However, when I click on my DVD drive shortly after it loads, I go into a list of files that the FSX Disk 1 contains instead of running it automatically. Unlike normal, nothing popped up on the main desktop asking me what I would like to do with the disk. Nothing new installed, changed, or updated.     For those that like me use the FSX flight planner, this might be a handy tool. I havent tried it yet, just saw it on Avsim .... Filename: fpncnv213.zip License: Freeware Added: 26th November 2011 Downloads: 191 Author: Shigeaki Moriya Size: 1327kb It takes the default FSX FP and converts it to the PMDG format.

    Just flown into EGLL, had a wonderful flight and A/land too, but landed half way down the runway.I suspect this is because I am using Aerosoft's payware scenery, not the default, but not any up to date navigraph package - but I'm not sure. Or is it one of these "creeping" magnetic north changes I have read about? Any thoughts, please?

    Hi Captains,Im a little confused, I have attached a photo to better explain. I have circled my question in Red. Does that mean that the wind is pointing in the direction of that arrow at 71 knots....therefore it would be considered a tailwind in this case?im just curious how to read that display.Thanks Max

    Hi All,I am on my second flight with the NGX 600, EBBR - EFHK. FMC is completely programmed. Start went smooth.But in spite of the fact that all failures are disabled (still have to learn a lot before I could try them), the left landing gear won't retract. Both the red and green light are burning, but no other (warning/caution) light is on. All functions well. From the outside view I can see, that the gear indeed is down (only the left). Furthermore I am in FMC speed mode, but the speed is far below the values in the legs pages. Yet, although too slow, the speed is correct in the PFD. I mean to say, that the magenta speedmarker is also much lower than the planned values. …

    Having the NGX at FL370 , I decided to close both bleed valves to simulate cabin pressure loss. I was expecting a very quick drop in pressure, and was suprised to see pressure loss was minimal. Opening the outflow valve manually to 100%, increased the rate of pressure loss. Just wondering, does anyone know that this is the way the real aircraft would respond.---This is my first post (hope it got to the correct area !). T/Y

    Hello you guys! I have been flying the NGX since day 1, and just got the 6/700.With the -700 i noticed something i havent noticed with the 8/900. Didn't check with the 600.But it seems that in virtual cockpit the wings is visible when you check behind (trough the gate)I'll add a photo from Aerosoft's CDG.Also had this with default gate at a default airport..Did search but couldn't find a topic on this. So I'm sorry if i didn't see one.
