PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

The whole reason I purchased ASE was to prevent situations like this from happening. Well currently Im flying with ASE weather and tailwinds are pushing 110 knots @ FL350. I think because of the wind the aircraft autopilot keeps making drastic changes to maintain course. It is in VNAV/LNAV mode and keeps making right and left hand turns that exceed 30 degrees of bank (ignoring the fact that I have the bank limit set at 15 on the HDG selector). what is going wrong here?

My friend and I was on IVAO, two days ago. CDG had a 200 overcast. This was my most amazing landing in fsx so far, I couldn't see 10 m around me... I guess this what's really called flying instrument only... Autoland for sure! Hi long time no see,anyway Ive had the best time in fsx ever. The NGX is amazing! But I have a problem with add on liveries. I cant seem to get them. First is the pmdg .ptp ment to be a word file? I download it from pmdgs site and once its done I get a word file with strange things written in it. Is that ment to be there?Thanks for now

Currently I'm just googling for e.g. EHAM charts, EDDT charts, most of the time I find great charts from Jeppview, but it turns out some are from 2008!So I was wondering, is there a (payware) programm that has all charts (updated), for all airports in the world. I know there is a programm like Simplates, but that's only for the USA. I would like to have charts available for the whole world. Thanks!

Hi all, I have noticed that since SP1 the top panel light switches do not illuminate when the main panelswitch is turned on. Is this a glitch or just me. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello allI'm experiencing an issue related to cockpit sounds. When I install the plane from zero I can fly normally with every sound working. However, some flights later I loose cockpit sounds. I can only hear engines. No switches, packs... sounds.I'm using EZCA and ASE. I have checked sounds in FMC menu and everything is OK.Anyone knows?To solve it I have to uninstall and reinstall the plane and SP1. I have to say that it wasn't happening before SP1, but I can't confirm the SP1 to be the problem, I'll have to try flying without the SP1.W7/64bit

The keypress to bring up the 2D Radio/Lower Instrument Panel is SHF+4.What is the keypress combo to bring up the 2D (Full) MCP Panel?I can bring it up with the FSX pull down menu from the top of the full screen....but don't see a anything in the settings menu.Bill Clark

Hi!I saw this video of a real world WestJet crusin' at FL410. If you stop at 0:56 you can tell that the screen displays the nearby airports. Is this possible in the NGX?

I have always assigned my AXIS in FSX and none in FSUIPC cause it was recommended not to. On top of that with all the options in FSUIPC it looked a little intimidating. Last night I decided to play around with it and see for myself how it worked with the NGX. I also flew a flight from VTBS (Suvarnabhumi ) to VRMM (Male Atolls) to test it out from gate to gate. My findings? The NGX never handled so well before. It is a complete joy to hand fly at any stage of the flight. FSUIPC is way beyond FSX in terms of smoothness and there really is no comparison. So I am sharing how I got started so that if anyone else is interested they can try this as well.Before I get into FSUIPC …

Hi.I always find it very annoying when flying, I always have to press Alt+Enter, go to the internet and search for charts on Google. No problem actually, but I would prefer to view charts while flying. So what's the best way to do this? And iPad, or seperate cheap laptop? I also tried connecting my TV to my graphics card together with my monitor. All worked fine, but when I started to play FSX and switched to full screen mode, everything on my TV went blank and couldn't view my charts anymore.So what's the best way to view charts? A TV (if so, please tell me the settings in Control Panel), a laptop? An iPad? Or will an iPhone do the job, or it to small? Thanks!

I am having this problem, which is, every time I start at a gate there is no Jetway. No matter what gate I go to there no Jetway. I have advanced animations on with sliders very dense. I can taxi up to one and everything works fine but not when I start a flight. I have tried heavy,medium and small gates nothing. I even tried to move to a gate that had one but when I moved over, the gate disappeared. Is there a setting in the aircraft.cfg or FSX.cfg that I should be looking for?ThanksRick

I was flying into KLAS this evening and noticed a livery change to the old Southwest livery where the lights hit in various spot of the aircraft. I installed the livery as directed using the livery manager. For some reason this is the only livery I noticed having a discrepancy. Any thoughts would be great! Thanks!

Dear pilots, I am having some issues of late with the ngx.Whenever i try and fly at night or dusk & dawn transition i seem to get flat frames for a max of 10 secs then its ok again then 5 mins later it does it again .* It does not do it during the day*I run a few aeorosft airports and uk2000plus REX 2.0i only have the 800 NGX in at the moment i can not get my head around this one tried all sorts of things but it certainly can't be the addons because they are fine during the day ? I hope someone can help and maybe shed some light on thisRegards Steve

Hi , the title speaks for itself. Just took off from LFMN and my instrument was reading zero during climb. tried to descent but still zero.OTHER PBthe blank fmc screen issue???

When zooming closer to view tthe trim indicator. a hole developes through the floor of the cockpit to reveal the ground below. This hole disappears if you zoom in further or zoom back out. As you can see in the attachment it occurs at zoom 3.00.Has anyone any ideas? Is this a possible bug?Thanks in advanceFurther to the above, if you zoom to 3.00 and look down towards the checklist on the yoke this hole will appear. If you pan around the hole seems to follow the view as you rotate. It definately goes through to the ground as I can see the taxi markings under the aircraft! I had a very odd situation and I dont know if it is because of ice on wings, but in CRZ level suddently the aircraft start to bank very hard to left and right, then I switch off LNAV and try HDG, it doesnt help, the bank angle was above 45° and I command AP off, and flying manually was impossible to control the aircraft, looks like a broken joystick, but it wasnt! my joy is ok and I calibrate before every flight.It is not a AP malfuction since manually was very hard to control the Aircraft too, its sounds like a flight controls issue, hidraulics or ice on wings? but in FL370 there is no ice...I guess.In flight I command systems maintenance (because I fly with failures ON,…

Just purchased the NGX and on initial load the engines were running. My FSX is set up such that the a/c should always start in a cold & dark state. I've looked in Tutorial #1 but can't seem to get an .ini to set up the c&d environment. Am I missing something here?Steve LewisAIG Dispatch North America

Why? It still boggles my mind. Did they become lazy? I am 100% sure it wouldn't have been that hard. They made EVERYTHING else of the 2d panel, but this? For someone like me with an average PC, the NGX is already such a FPS sucker. The 2D panel gets great FPS. But then, on engine start, I don't have a choice and have to go to the VC. What happens? 10 Second freezes. 10FPS. Lag. More freeze. Why? What's up with the hate towards 2D users?
