    Hey fallows,i have very weird problem at crosswind, the nose instead of turning the nose into the wind its turming with the wind..i have a joystick, at my home (usually flying at my friend he has saitek pro) i am thinking of buying saitek pro, but anyway, what is the problem?P.S my joystick has centerline issues, with the rudders but its not significant, i am turning the nose into the wind but, when i am doing the i deviates from the runway direction.

    Hi everyone, Until recently I was using the Collins MCP and I found discrepancies in the time between the FS clock and the aircraft clock and the ETA time on the ND and I was not too pleased with the back lighting on the Lnav and Vnav switches. Last night I selected an aircraft, noted the tail no. and selected Fixed Config which came up with the Honeywell MCP. Right away I noticed a big improvement with the back lighting on the Vnav and Lnav (similar to the old FS9 737) and strange as it might seem the FS clock, aircraft clock and the ETA on the ND were all synchronized. I think I will stick with the Honeywell for the time being. Anyone else noticed a similar situatio…

    After SP1 and the -600/700 i noticed that the backlighting on the Honeywell MCP at NIGHT seems different. I can't say that it looks better, in fact when i saw it i switched to collins haha.I guess im asking is it supposed to have changed?Thanks,mitch bowman

    Hi,I have two questions not directly related to NGX, but I think this can be useful to other NGX pilots.1) While descending, as I cross TL (transition level) I click STD in the inner BARO knob (after setting the local QNH). This way I go from standard pressure (29.92 or 1013) to local pressure (QNH). Very often this results in the altimeter switching to a totally different altitude than the one I was flying in VNAV, sometimes 600 ft below VNAV. The airplane doesn't seem to do anything about it and continues flying above the new path altitude. Then I use V/S and enter a steeper vertical descend speed. As I get close to the right altitude I click on VNAV button and the plan…

    Yesterday had this issue of the FMC refusing to update when changing crossing altitudes and/or changing direct to waypoints. At least it didn't lock up the sim as before. I had this issue with the first release but was hoping SP1 had completely eliminated this. Only happened once in 15 flights. New SP1 install. Anyone else seen this with SP1? I fly alot of hours! 20 or 30 a week.

Hi together,after a long time of being without my Sim I made a new installation now on my PC.Prozessor 2 x 2,4GHZ,4 GHz RamWindows XP Home, SP3FSX + AccelerationAfter that I bought (downloaded) the new 737NGX (File: PMDG737 8900 NGX TTM.exe) and made the installation.In the FSX the Aircraft loads up (slowly...), but I can't move any switches and buttons - no reaction. The displays are black. The same in the Virtual cockpit as in the 2D-View.After that I tried to reinstall my former bought 747x (File: PMDG747_400_FSX) - same problems, no reaction.I've deleted both and tried it 2 or 3 times, now I don't have any idea and I hope to your help.TnxMartin

    I have just installed the 600/700 and have had a perfect trial flight and autoland but restarting from cold and dark the Yaw damper won't stay on and the light stays on. If I click the switch it holds for a little while and then switches back and the light stays on. Engine starts fine but no matter what I do can't get Yaw damper to hold on. I don't rememebr ever having this problem before. Is it a case of RTFM.Peter Rowan

    Since the release of the repaint kit there are many good liveries on Avsim but as most predate SP1 does that mean we should not use them? So far I have only used SP1 updated liveries from PMDG's own downloads. Seems such a waste of effort if we can't use them?Martin Madden

    I've just flown a couple of touch-and-go circuits in the PMDG 737-800.When I engage the autopilot after take-off following a touch-and-go, the aircraft bank steeply and pitches down dangerously to the point that I need to disengage the autopilot to re-gain manual control. This happens several times. The heading bug and course indicator are set to the runway heading; the FMC is not programmed; the auto-throttle is disengaged. I see nothing programmed in the MCP that would cause the aircraft to behave like this. In addition, when the auto-pilot is re-engaged, it is not possible to activate the heading selector in the way you can after a 'standard' take-off.Does anyone know…

    Hi, I have SP1 installed and own both the base NGX and 600/700 expansion. Ever since the update to SP1, I have noticed that that when I press the TOGA button shortcut after thrust stabilizes at 40%, and then move my hardware throttle to the "firewall", the n1 exceeds the takeoff limit. As a result, I have to carefully retard the throttle to match the limit on the n1 gauge, a very delicate task while simultaneously trying to control the ground rollout. I believe I have read a similar report here, but I cannot find it with the search function. Is this a new bug, or is this something I have to workaround and if so what is the workaround? On the ground EGCC happily prep'ing for the flight to LEAM, I keyed in my fuel - 8.5 tons needed, so of course I keyed in 8 and then things went quiet etc. Yes, it loaded 8kgs which doesn't go far! doh!So try a lot of things here (after loading 8500 kgs), re-reading the start procedure, searching here.... nothing.Battery onStandby pwr auto Apu StartHave i missed something?     Just want to share I find the NGX to be ridiculously spot on especially after landing the 700WL in KRNO a few minutes ago. The flight from KCOS was perfect, descent perfect, approach perfect, and landing characteristics perfect. Using power to control altitude and pitch to control airspeed on final gave me a nice flare attitude I watched over and over in the replay. I have seen countless 737's land and finally I have witnessed my own identical landing to what I have seen so many times in real life. The avionics PMDG have created are superb, and I cannot find any flaws! I really feel bad for those who's experience is different. As far as the descent goes what is the big de…
