PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi guys. I'm almost hesitant to post this, but I can't figure this out.About 45% of the times I initiate a TO roll, the plane deviates to either left or right of the centerline without reason, or at least no reason I can determine. That's why I decided to ask for imput. I have checked that:-There is absolutelly no input (keyboard, joystick, mouse, or whatever)-There is no wind affecting me- My rudder trim is centered-There is no autopilot input trying to control the plane.On the last point, sometimes I even leave the A/P on, with HDG for the runway heading, sometimes I don't.Seems to happen at random.Any ideas?Thanks!Armando Arjona R.

I'm not sure wether somebody else already mentioned this problem, but as the title says since I've installed the SP1 the covers don't move anymore! Not a big thing, but I liked the animation so I was wondering wether this could be fixed!?a picture for illustrating this (the red marks):

Hi there, I'm getting problems with the NGX. I haven't had any CTDs but if I call up an FSX menu or an FSX dialog box - when I close it, the screen will either go completely Black or ALL the aircraft textures disappear. I tried the fix mentioned somewhere of using a 32bit vista window display dll, but that hasn't helped. I'd massively appreciate so help here coz at the moment I can't get more than 10 minutes into any flight. cheers,Chris. PS. One question:I always refer back to the manual when doing a flight in the NGX because... it's awesome!Anyway, it states that when turning the final approach course you should turn on VOR/LOC in order to capture the localizer. Then, as you capture it (pink diamond on bottom of the screen) you should press APP button in order to capture glide slope. (pink diamond on the right side). When you finally have both captured, THEN you click on CMD B button IF you're doing a CAT 3 landing. Is this correct? And if you were doing another CAT landing (the one where you must manually turn off AP and flare) would you only leave the A on?Now then, if you were landing on an exotic place s…

def a cool gadget ... Was using it for about 30 mins and I started to get that nauseous feeling so clearly i need to adjust the TIR profile but not sure in which direction i need to tweak it. Hi everybody,Looks like a lot of pilots have a problem with an "empty" Virtual Cockpit in all exept 800, including me. Until now !But after some testing I found out what the problem is. If you have played around with thePerformance Manager you'll get the "empty" cockpit.600 700 and 900 can not have the Virtual Cockpit Model set to Low Resolution, only the 800 cantake both Low and High in all three settings. So make sure you have the Cockpit Model set to High,the other two does not matter, and you will get the VC.Today I did a flight with them all, 600 700 800 900, without any problem.In the 6-700 and 900 I set Cockpit to High and the other two to Low.In the 800 I set the …

I use all de FMC data from the NGX Tutorial for the NGX 700 and also the NGX 900. Sometimes can I activate the VNAV knob., but mostly not. I checked the FMC but i cannot find a problem.LNAV is no problem. I tried everything.What do i wrong??? Hopefully can somebody help meRegardsJan

Well I was away from my computer and forgot I had started FSX to test the new All Nippon Airways 700WL paint and noticed the plane had already taken off without me! I looked at my screen and noticed about a couple of hours passed by and was bouncing on the ocean. I regained control to gain some altitude and speed to get back to land. I pulled the map up and it showed I had departed from KSFO, but somehow made a looping right turn on take off taking me straight out to the ocean. I decided to just continue flying to make it back to land. I choose KLAX as the closest airport because it was just a few degrees east of my current position with about 500NM left to travel back. I…

Just saw an article about Ryanair potentially introducing in-flight porn. All I can say is PMDG forget multi-cockpit I think we need this next, and if possible just put it as an overlay when we press the WXR button. -Matt Chase

Hi guys!First of all the 737 is a fantastic plane to fly and I'm used to it since a few years (old PMDG, Ifly and now the new PMDG).For information I fly online on IVAO and use Active Sky Evo. Now i did 5 flights with the new PMDG 737NGX and I encounter a problem which I never experienced before. Always during descent the plane starts to get a lot of negative pitch (around -8°). Off course I have the autopilot engaged and autotrim is used. This problem remains until short before touchdown. Flaps setting, gear, etc doesn't make any difference.Did someone else have this problem?? I thought maybe the FSUIPC weather setting or Active Sky could cause some troubles.Thx for help…

I bought this wonderful plane some days ago. It all looks really good.But now I've spend around 10 hours preparing, takeing off, installing und installing fsx and all included with it. Yet I've not yet finished a single flight!! I've noticed serveral problems with this aircraft. 1) When I am running it in fullscreen, and want to tab out to make a flight plan or similar, then sometimes when I get back in the game, then there is missing part of the graphics. It can either be the whole airport+plane+road texture, while other times I can't even get the alt menu up in the top. Tomorrow is my big day. I will spend 2 hours in the LevelD Sim on the 737-800W. My plan isto start at KLGA Cold dark at gate. Power up and taxi to RW4 to KEWR 22L, taxi to 4L and fly to KJFK for the Parkway Visual 13L approach. Taxi to 22L and flt to KLGA via the Expressway Visual 31 appraoch. Hi,I've installed the SP1 and 6700 expansion and I've noticed that some sound such as AP Disconnection, Parking brake and various switch, are missing.Moreover the engine start sound, starts when i open the fuel (on the pedstal) and not when I move the engine start switch on the overhead.Any help?How can I solve this issue?Thank You for helpFrancesco

I have never used them neither I know what they are made for.I admit I didn't have completely read the manual but I can fly with no issue so I assume they are not fundamental.But you know, there is always to learn and after the basics now I am curious to know what those CWS buttons are meant for.When cruising I like to experiment and once I pressed one of them just to see what happened. It happened nothing, at least I didn't notice anything new.But there are 2 of them and the curiosity grows faster this way :(

I've learned what I could about the charts from reading online, but I still have unanswered questions, to which I can't find a "real" tutorial anywhere.So far, I've had pretty good success using STARS, and programing the FMC with the proper altitude and speed restrictions. I wanted to see how far I could stretch the NGX's legs. Took the 700WL on a trip from FTX's Bowerman KHQM to Memanbetsu, RJCM in northern Hokkaido Japan, Distance 3800nm with stiff headwind most of the way. Engines flamed with about .4 left on the fuel indicator while on descent, was able to glide in and land safely. For an airliner, she's not a bad glider lol,Looking foward to the 700ER, it will combine the best of both worlds of the NGX and the long haulers.CheersTJ

Hi all, been having a few issues with my 700, the 800/600 fly like a dream and always give me a great flight with no issues. For some reason when i try flying the 700 series i always get the dreaded CTD shortly after departure usually when retracting the gear or turning out on course for my first waypoint. Not sure why but it seems to happen every time but only with the 700. I am running Orbx airports/ Rex and ASE but they do not seem to interfere with the other 737 series. One other issue i have when using EZCA its all setup and great for the 800/900 but has no camera views for the 600/700 series not really an issue but would be nice to get the preset views. I am flying a relatively short leg from KBOS to KLGA with the NGX, and am wondering if anyone who knows the traffic patterns could tell me the approaches usually used for the various runways at KLGA (22 is probably relatively easy as a "straight in", but how about 04, 13 and 31)? I assume since the other two major NY area airports are using similar runway headings that there are somewhat standardized procedures to get aligned with the approaches from the north without transgressing on the other airport traffic patterns). Hello, I know it's been discussed before. And the problem could be quite annoying. At Aerosoft Schiphol (my home and favourite airport), I'm getting around 18-20 fps while the mouse cursor is displayed, and around 23 fps when it is not displayed. PMDG claims that the performance is equal or even better than the MD11. This is not true for me because I'm getting over 25 fps in the MD11 at Aerosoft Schiphol. If I want the NGX to come a little close, the mouse cursor must not be displayed. I know PMDG probably know about this, but I was wondering, are you looking into this and is this fixed for SP1?
