Hi Guys,Long time no see. Well I have been having some great fun flying around with the Vatpac world flight crew in the last few days. On the flight from Jakarta to Bangalore, the airways were crowded and I was asked to fly a left 10nm off-set on my filed route. Fortunately for that leg i was in the PMDG MD11 and had no problem sorting that out. Neverthless, last night I flew the leg from Seville to Lajes in the Azores and again the route was crowded. I was not asked to set up an off-set from ATC but, in the back of the mind I was kind of anticipating it, so I was exploring the FMC and found the Off-set key on the route page, but once opening it I was not sure of the form…

  4. Hi all,I'm thinking about getting a Saitek Pro Flight Radio Panel for online flying on VATSIM. From what I have read in the forums, I will need FSUIPC and the SPAD drivers to get it working with the 737NGX. My question is now: Do I need the registered version of FSUIPC or is the free version sufficient? Thanks

I notice that the SWA livery has been marked as being accurate, however the display options that comes with the livery is the regular PFD MAP type, but as far as i can tell, SWA has always used the side by side layout, something very simple to correct yes but i was wondering why this is so?

Hi there, Was strolling through the 737NGX 600/700 livery page and stumbled upon the "Boeing (Chromate Green)". 8. Sirs: I have a problem, what I think is a CTD. The program refuses to run past Free Flight. I get the following error messages "A Fatal Error has Occurred" "MS FSX has stoped working" Then the Program re-starts. I recently installed PMDG-NGX 737 800/900 Base Pack . And the Update ( As instructed in the Forum). Less than 3 hours ago I downloaded the PMDG 737 600/700 w/ succesfull Activation. And the Program refuses to load. Should I disassemble it all and then install the Update ??? (Like the forum instructs) "I need a litle info on the order to assemble these 2 programs and the Update" Thank You Very much.........

I am interested in the various favourable comments about the FSX on the imac.My main concern is that having felt how hot the back of the machines get in an apple shop would the computer become damaged by the intense requirements of PMDG 737NGX.Also I like to fly with a second monitor in my current windows computer fed off a single graphics card in my computer so I can use FS commander moving map.Is it possible to attach a second monitor to an imac?Thank-youMichael Houghton

  11. Maybe I've totally missed a trick here but has anyone yet uploaded a comprehensive set of MACROs or LUAs that work for the various switches and systems on NGX post SP1?I would like assign them to the various buttons and switches on my GoFlight modules. (bar the MCP Pro LUA that is already published - I've got that working - very helpful thank you Steve)I know LINDA exists for a similar purpose but it's my understanding that it cannot assign to GoFlight modules? Unless I'm wrong? Can anybody point me in the right direction here?Ta,

  12. Hi,I made a lot of macros for vital mcp actions, but I can't operate the cmda button properly.I've tried a left mouse click followed by a mouse leave, but that only works occasionally. What are the required mouse actions to operate this button properly?Saying hi from germany,Markus

So, I did not notice before, but as I was preparing for departure from SJU to HOU on an ad-hoc, I realized that MTOW differed alot from the manuals PMDG supplied to pages like www.fuel.aerotexas.com and even wikipedias own 737NG page. This is what the different pages says about the B737-600 opertaing weights:PMDGMTOW 127000 lbsMLW 120500 lbsMZFW 114000 lbsaerotexasMTOW 145500 lbsMLW 120500 lbsMZFW 113500 lbsWikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_737_Next_Generation)MTOW 145500 lbsMLW 121500 lbsNow, i never use wikipedia for such info, but had to make a search too see if there actually was an article related to the 737NG weights and so on.The FMC t…

After updating to SP1 and installing all of my liveries all over again, I noticed that the winglet versions of both -800 and -900 models were reverted to the 2888 version only after the livery installation. This did not affect the non-winglet version. Also, when I install my liveries, as before the update, it will not allow me to install more than one livery at a time, and when I install another livery it deletes them both and the third one takes over leaving my texture files in place but the CFG file is not updated accordingly. Example: I install the United livery, it shows in the -800WL menu. Then I install, let's say American livery, none show up, I then go and ins…

I am not sure if anybody of you is experiencing simular throttle problems. I have intsalled following: FSX - PMDG 737- 8900 NGX - HotFiX - SP1 - PMDG 737-6700. When using the throttle at my joystick it responds in a very strange way. I usually start the FSX with the airplane ready to go, with throttle in idle position. When trying to adjust throttle to 40% N1, carefull touch, it speeds up to full throttle and even more. When trying to reduse throttle to idle I only get down to 60%. I need to use F1 on the keybord to get to "idle". This problems makes flying out of the question.gura75

  16. I was trying the autoslat system from outside view and internal view, the system seems to be working as expected, at least visually, but I've not see any tendency of the plane to increase lift after slat extension neither wing flex changes during/after extension. I did tests within few knots of speeds, in my configuration:-600-129-131kts (around 130kts triggered the autoslat)-flaps 1-11.6 AOA when slats extend to full position-Vertical speed controlled by AP in altitude hold. When stable at 130 with 11.6 of AOA, VS=0 lowering a bit the speed (just beginning to see the top of the 9) I get the autoslat working, AOA was still at 11.6, thrust was increased a bit to stabilize t…

In researching, I have found that Delta is listing some strange ranges for it's 737-700/800 aircraft. The Boeing website says the max 2-class range is 3,115nm for the -800. Yet on the Delta website it lists it at 3,520 for a 2-class range? As well, Boeing lists the -700 (not the ER version) at 3,440 for 2-class range yet Delta has it listed much less at 2,789?I was thinking Boeings figures were at max weight but that would not explain the -700 range listed by Delta. Anyone know the whats and whys of this?

I have a GF-TQ6 hardware throttle module and my settings for the NGX are set to have the hardware throttle override in Hold and Arm mode only. However, when the autothrottle is in N1 or FMC speed modes I try to keep the hardware throttle levers matched to the autothrottle setting by using the blue indicator and I find the engines reacting when I change the hardware thrust lever position. For example, I will be in a descent ("Arm" Mode) and I manually pull the thrust levers back to reduce the thrust. Then when I level out during the descent, the autothrottle will enter "FMC Speed" mode and increase thrust as designed to maintain speed in level flight. This leaves the en…

Hi Folks. I'm having something unusual happen with my NGX installation. Whenever I take off, my plane seems to want to level off at about 3000 feet and will accelerate to no faster than 195 knots. This has happened with both pre- and post-service pack and it happened when following the tutorial. This wasn't a problem originally but it has persisted for a couple of months. I'm puzzled about what to do about it. This is such a great aircraft and I really want to get this working correctly. Has this happened with anyone else?Bob JonesManufacturer: DellModel: XPS-8300Processor: Intel Cor i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHzInstalled Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB RamSystem type: 64-bit…
