Hello PMDG,I really want to get the new 737ngx but unsure about my specs, i need to know what to expect with regards to fps and things like that.My specs are in my signature and i am running, Captain Sim 757, UK2000 EGBB EXTREME scenery and the demo version for EGNT,what will i expect,........Please come back to me, i must get that plane!!!!!

I Need a Brain Transplant.This BNGX is a brilliant aircraft, and I'm really enjoying it, even on my system. However, I have one major problem.I have flown the tutorial many times, and usually I can land at EHAM ok (Well I can usually walk away !).However there are occasions when I'm suddenly above the runway and running out of time - my fingers will not do what my brain wants them to do. The sim isrunning too fast...I really do not want to run at half speed, but I've gotta try and sort this out.One minute I'm passing NIRSI, then I'm having to hit the 'P' key.. This problem has gotten worse since sp1 in that often I am unable to put a 240/10000 in the des restriction page. It wont take it, i'll execute and then it disapears. Now today it finally happened on the climb page as I was departing KMDW through 5000 the climb restriction 250/10000 disapeared after I went direct JOT (there were no leg restrictions in speed or altitude at JOT). I busted my speed and hit 290 KIAS before I noticed it. I am now getting violated by Radar Contact! Anyway this is fairly frustrating and I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. Hi! I use to fly with a Baron 58 (commercial version) and with the option activated in REX "use realistic icing effect" when I encounter some clouds in cruise, sometimes I have to push the de-ice button for engine, other wise I lose power. The question is: with 737 NGX when do I have to use the de-ice for engine or wings?

Hi,I used to suffer from LNAV-disengage syndrome earlier. Somehow I fixed it. I can't remember how. Now, after SP1 I have noticed that LNAV is randomly disengaging during flight. I guess it is related to windshear. I have been doing some changes to ASE settings, but as you can imagine the problem is difficult to reproduce since it happens pretty randomly so testing changes in ASE settings is not easy. I found some settings here, but they dont prevent LNAV-disengage in my case.My question is: Are there any fixes to this annoying problem?Another issue perhaps related to the LNAV-disengage is that when my NGX is going to do a turn (flying RNAV) it first does a minor turn in …

Here first, is the route and A/C.737-800WLKLAS-KLAXBOACH4.HEC.RIIVR2 @FL200On approach, ATC cleared me for ILS 25LAfter tweaking everything I needed to...FMC, MCP. etc. I noticed that one....All the restrictions had an A next to them in the FMC as they should. So that was normal....what I noticed for the first time, that I have never had a problem with before on this flight, was that during the approach, after hitting 10,000, the FMC kept yelling at me that there was no descent profile after XXX. I seem to remember that one could program the sim to automatically activate the reverse thrusters and spoilers upon landing (cat III). Is this feature still possible or is this not real world? I landed yesterday but the reverse thrusts did not come on, nor did the air spoilers go up.Kareem

hey all!I was wondering what happened to the little moving part of the krueger flaps that sort of retracts when rverse thrust is engaged becasue a fin on the cowling pushes it out of the way (I really don't know how else to describe what im talking about). It used to be there before SP1, now there's just a big gap. It does have a formal name but i can't think of it at all. So what happened to it? Is PMDG aware that its missing? I'm not too deeply familiar with B737NG systems, but after installing SP1, my amateur eye has noticed following issues: 1. After performing non-realistic procedures, slew airplane to air with dark-cold cockpit configration,and then load configuration which was saved during normal flight,after some time, PFD and ND screens are freeze in VC, but when click on it, the opened 2D screens are work normaly, after ~1 minute this freeze disappears.2. Hello, I've been having some issues with the VC for the 800/900 base package. While all systems appear to be functional, there are a select few which I cannot interface with via mouse. The two most notable ones are the autopilot (the entire panel) and the engine mixture levers. While most interactable items have an appropriate cursor when moused over, these remain as my default cursor. Prior to SP1 I was pretty sure entering DEP/ARR arrival for an ILS runway, the frequency was automatically selected for NAV1 when approaching the destination. Pressing VOR/LOC first would intercept the rwy, once the localiser was active pressing APP would intercept the localiser. After the G/S was active CMD B could be selected for autoland.Since SP1 I'm finding the frequency for the ILS has to be manually input, otherwise pressing APP just makes the aircraft turn in circles.Does anybody have this issue after SP1 or am I so far out of practice not having used FSX for a few weeks?

I spend most of my sim time in long haul aircraft, and made a decision a few weeks ago to rid myself of my freeware, and build a hangar of the best payware available. PMDG blew me away with the MD-11, so the 74 was a no-brainer, and off the back of the sheer quality of their work I decided to fill the short-haul void with the NGX. To suggest I am impressed is a massive understatement. Guys, your work is amazing, truly impressive, and is without a doubt the most significant development to date since MS flight sim itself! Hi Guys,I've been flying the NGX since release. Everything has been pretty smooth for me without the initial hotfixes. I did the upgrade to SP1, and I have the expansion pack for the 600/700. Again, all went well. I've taken several flights now with the 700, and all of a sudden today, something strange started during engine start.When I start the engines, the spool up process goes normal, the displays look normal (see screenshot), but after the engines settle into idle, both of them start to spew smoke (see screenshot), and my throttles (although moving fine visually), don't have any affect on the speed.
