PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Ive been trying to figure this one out in the manual, but im somewhat confused as to how you activate the autothrottles on the ngx. If im not mistaken, the realistic engagement of the autopilot demands that you are trimmed correctly, have flaps 1 or more for take off, and have the A/T activated on TO?Im having trouble activating CMD A or B below 2000ft, so im doing something wrong here.Im so used to airbus and md-11 systems that im having difficulties figuring out the 737s autopilot and throttle.How to activate TO-mode correctly?Thanks for helping me out:-)

Hello!I'm flying with NGX without any issue since first day ... Now i have SP1, and it runs perfect, and very very smooth with high FPS.I made a lot of flights with it, but today i made the tutorial flight for enjoy purposes.In the EHAM approach, i saw this:I don't see this flying NGX on Spain never ... Only in this tuto flight.In my signature are my addons and specs ...Thanks

Ok we can open a *.ptp extension to add liveries but how can you save as: .ptp extension?Also how can we change the registration of the wings and see it in FSX?Any help.......greatly appreciated.Frank D.

When advancing the throttles slightly for taxi the throttles end up going to 100% and stay there, All was working fine this morning but now It Is just playing up. CiaránEdit: It was the way my Joystick was calibrated, I didn't calibrate the throttle correctly :(

Hello captains,At the moment I'm flying hight altitude airports in the Andes and have odd problems while taking off. Due to short runways related to the altitude I'm selecting an empty aircraft, 1/3 of fuel and follow all settings the FMC calculates (I even checked it against the books). However. When taking off (first 40%, then TOGA) the plane starts running but does not lift at all when reaching V2 even if I'm pulling the throttle back as far as I can (as the normal soft movement does not work at all). What is going wrong? BTW, it's not depending on the service pack, it was before as well. It seems to be linked to the load. I already opened an other thread quite a while…

Now that the 600-700-800-900 are done. Is there any plan to do the BBJ's I had read somewhere that it was a possibility but never herd anymore after that.... I know there isnt alot to it other than the fuel and payload. So I didnt know if it was possible to modify the 700 to work or if a BBJ was planned. We would like to phase out the IFLY BBJ for the better PMDG

Hi, Robert,Can you tell us if this is a problem.I was doing a flight from dakar to Lisbon and noticed a day night transition problem on the mcp. The main part of the MCP remains off while both extremities are on. it was 1724Z. but at 17227Z light intensity was back on the central part of the MCP. I did some test and the problem seems to be real even at 1700Z for instance.So everyone reading , can you just START FSX, SET TIME 1725Z AT LISBON, AND TRY TO SWITCH ON THE MCP. Only mcp edges are on.Please report your testings here.

HiI am quite an experienced pilot of the PMDG 737 ngx, but am constantly having a problem with the plane's speed when climbing above 20000 feet. The aircraft slows down all of a sudden, becoming close to stall speed. Would icing cause this, despite the throttles being fully open in an attempt to compensate?Please help, as I can's set cruising altitudes above 25000 feet. :(

It seems that after SP1 I can't no more catch the glide despite I always hit it at the correct altitude, around 10NM from the runway depending on the airport and runway of course.Of course this seems to be my fault but which is the distance from the runway you turn your APP on ?My LOC works like a charm but my APP it always fails also to turn on after SP1 and yes I have both F/D on, both course set and both ILS properly set , I can see on the efis the correct ILS runway ID.I check the glide distance into my FSC 9 and I should be fine regarding the distance but it seems I miss it by lot of Nm when I am precisely on the glide.I am puzzledThx

Why?I had such a good flight and just before EGSS at 1700 feet the FSX goes brillinat white for a half sec, then the timer comes as if it is loading and then crashes to desktopNever had that and now as I have SP1 it fails me.I have de installed NGX installed it new and then added SP1. I also bought the 600/700 series and added them yesterday.I had VATSIM open and the flight was OK no problems but at that point at 1700 feet FSX failed. I had a strange thing happen today. I could only fly with AP2 as AP1 flashed but refused to take control?Is this a bug, or is there something I did to prevent it. BTW I was flying from the Captains side.

I've had the NGX from day 1 (Aug. 4) and since then I've had the following problem: Sometimes, when loading the NGX at an airport, FSX stops responding, then has a fatal error and CTD. This happens every time at KSFO, at least, for the past three times with the 900WL model. -OR- I'm flying (it never happens at or before takeoff, climbing, descending, landing or after landing, only during cruise) FSX stops responding for anywhere between 5 minutes to a whole hour, then suddenly goes back to normal with no problems. Hey Folks, I'm hoping you can help me with something I've been having a few issues with, I did searches for this particular snag but didn't find anything relating to it. Anyhow, while running SquawkBox from the FSX modules I get the dreaded assertion failed C+++++ Visual error pop-up which isn't new to SB4 in FSX and with all aircraft. I've learned to live with it by clicking the ignore button, some flights it happens, others don't and it's no big deal but I have been noticing while flying the NGX the pop-up is very brief then FSX CTD's. No problem, I can run it from the Start Menu/Programs outside of FSX which typically remedies this problem but in the case of the NGX…

Hi,Is this normal? When I rewieving the PROG page... Program Pin Error message at the scratchpad...Deleted the message then everything, except LEGS page, is normal... But I can not reach the LEGS page??this has been fixed with SP1?? or am I wrong?

Good morning,In the MD11 you have to fill in the final VOR approach in the NAV page of the FMC and make it active. (if I remember it right)Anyone knows how to do this in the NGX. I can't find it in the guides.Thanks for helpingEric
