Just finished a flight from Billund (Denmark) to Copenhagen (Denmark)Just before landing in Copenhagen (400 feet or something like that) The plane turned left, the autopilot disconnected (I was performing an Autoland) I was able to grab the controls and make a safe landing.(I haven't installed FSUIPC, i was useing ASE, and autobrake set to 1)What the hell happend.Any suggestions? Help please. :-(

You gotta look at the pilots from the exterior. The blink, stretch, look around, wipe their faces etc. I also noticed that on the 3D cockpit you see the runway below by looking by the rudder pedals. Are there any flight attendants here.

HelloI bought the 600/700 NGX expansion pack and realized that the letters and graphics in the HGS display are much smaller than I was used to inn the 800 NGX. Is this normal? I use the same settings as with the 800 NGX and here everything is legible quite easily, whereas in the 700 it is much harder as it is smaller.I attached a screenshot of the 700 hgs.

Hi,Maybe this is a silly question, but I am not a profi.How do you perform crosswind landings (manual). I tried to land in LOWI (Innsbruck) on runway 08 in a crosswind situation. Wind speed was 20 from the left. Touchdown was "ok" but the roll out was not good. I was not able to stay in the middle of the runway. So my question is:Is this a limitation of FSX?What are your techniques for cross wind landings

Hi,i guess a lot of you use the great tool Tpocatsim to get accurate data for the v-speeds, flex, landing/TO distance etc etc. Unfortunatelly, they only made data for the 737 and 738, which makes the proper operation of the other models, IMO, nothing more than guesswork - not very realistic and even dangerous ;) . I know they work hard on their new program called PFPX. But maybe, if some of us could go over to their forum and ask them in a POLITE way they might find the time to include the remaining models. I would open a thread there myself, but since I registered a few weeks ago, I'm still waiting for my account to be opened...and please feel free to delete this thread …

Hello everyone.When I press the Terrain button on the EFIS panel I see the word "TERR" displayed on the ND. Just under this there are two 3 digit numbers, these numbers change quite often and are yellow on the ground,green in the air,and sometimes one will be red depending on the range selected. Can anyone tell me what these numbers are telling me? I have searched the manual for this info but I am just not finding itThanks.Dennis

Hi!I'm having some problems using the Alt Hold function. Say I'm preforming a vfr flight and I'm using Alt Hold to maintain FL140. Then I want to descend to 6000 feet. If I just dial in the altitude nothing happens, and Alt Intv doesn't do anything either.On the other hand, if I'm in speed mode, the plane tries to maintain every value I dial in, which seems normal. Shouldn't it be doing this with Alt Hold too?Thanks a lot!Arthur

Hi-i tried to search on this and had no luck.I've been trying to practice final approaches- hence i'm only around 2-3000 ft when i'm loading the save. And while the aircraft is initializing its basically a 135,000 lb lawn dart.I've notice on some save points that the aircraft seems to glide while loading...and most others (esp the ones i'm interested in) its dead and begins an immediate nose dive. I'm not sure what I did in saving one situation over the other.Is there a way around this?thankssteve deparis

All worked well with my autobrakes pre SP1 but now they disconnect on touchdown. I have the same problem with the MD11 but not the 747. I have made no adjustments to my hardward (CH Pedals & Prostick) since installing SP1. Did not reinstall the 737 - just added SP1 - could this be the issue ?Many thanksRichard Foreman

Fellow pilots,After touching the brakes in taxi or after landing or even standing still the brakes won't let go. I have to set the parkingbrake and then the brakes will loose up.Otherwise the brakes will continue braking.Anyone else had this, it haven't had this before. Changing panel state, reloading the ngx and fsx won't help. Restarting the PC doesn't have effect eather.Hopefully someone can help me out with this issue.Thanks in advance!

Hi,Just installed, from scratch NGX+SP1 and run in to some problems during the prefligt (not experienced in "pure" NGX)- unable to transfer the V-speeds for takeoff to PFD-unable to arm VNAV neither on ground nor in flightI,basically, follow the Tom Risager tutorial "From Cold and Dark.........."If somebody have an idea...?Andre.

If i am not mistaken the registration in the VC says LN-RP0 instead of LN-RPO.And the registration plate for the wingleted SAS 800 model still says RRW when it should be RRH

Hey,i am finally can can enjoy the ngx 737, with the new sp1, now i have question about the cost index because i think that what causing my problem.when i am doing a flight and filing the perf page after i fill the index the max cruise altitude is 157, i am filing the cost index with 100, the zfw i am just clicking on the 3L twice and it fills it automatic, so what am i doing wrong how can i make the max altitude be higher? thanks in advance,Daniel(:

Hi,I imagine this has been pointed out before, but I have not got time to check hundreds of pages to make sure...When the HUD is down the switch that is marked (from memory) VOR/OFF/ADF on the left hand side does not work. Also some of the writing dissappears. I am not trying to click it through the HUD either. Using TIR to look around the edge and select it. Richard

Hi everyone, I did remove everything before installing NGX + Sp1 and now I experience something not normal in mid flight. I created a flight from LAX - SFO and when I was about FL350 and T.O.D the aircraft entered a step bank and stalled. I disengaged the autopilot and I recovered from the situation but I couldn't get the autopilot to engage again period. This never happened before installing SP1 also I get master caution warning lights, throttle disengaged light but with no sound. I don't know if this is normal as well.

Just wondering if anyone can assist.I use FSBUILD for creating flight plans but find it extremely difficult to change alt and spd settings on this program.So what I want to do is load the file through the FMC and manually change the speed and altitude for specific legs prior to take off.Can this be done? If so.......how?Cheers
