Is the NGX supposed to show up on the list of aircraft in the ACARS Device installer in FS Flightkeeper?Because it's nowhere to be found on mine..Oops... Updated FSFK to 3.20, ACARS Device Installer now recognizes the 737NGX... :)Dave C.

I read the manual and have a few questions about operations.The manual NP procedures Section 21 starts with the cockpit powered up - so I have this question:1. Can the APU be started without any fuel pumps on - or do I have to have atleast 1 pump on.2. Section NP21 talks about the pushback and the nose gaer locking pin. I need to verify that the pin in installed. And if so, keep the A hydraulic pump off.Dumb question, what the heck is the pin - and how do I verify if it is insatlled. I am guessing it locks the tow bar to the nose gear and by keepin the A hydraulic pump off, the nose wheel can be turned by the "mule" push back dude? Correct?3. What is the puropse on…

The FMC drag required message doesn't light the FMC P/RST button.

Hi there.Ever since I first installed the NGX, I've had a bright light at the top of the overhead panel even when the 'plane is completely powered down. Despite the hot-fixes, re-installations and SP1, it's still there. My friend has the NGX and it doesn't appear in his cockpit, so I can only assume it's something to do with my setup. Can anyone tell me what this is please, and how to turn it off?Many thanks.Kevin O'Connell.

Hopefully someone can give some advice regarding two issues that I have. These are during the tutorial flight from EGKK to EHAM.1. When taking off the LNAV light extinguishes during takeoff on the MCP but is still present on thet top of the PFD. The aircraft is configured as per the tutorial. When I engage CMD A I have to then push the LNAV button on the MCP again. The light then comes on as normal.2.Plane configured for final 18R. When I select flaps 30 the warning horn starts and doesn't stop. I can't work out why? Everything configured as per the tutorial.I have tried this flight 15 times and everytime the same issues arise.Need some advice about what I am possibly doi…

Now that the 600/700 Expansion is out, may I request someone does a repaint of the Royal Australian Air Force's fleet of VIP B737's? There are pictures galore to be found online at sites such as airliners.net so you shouldn't have to look hard for them. If someone will do this, can they please state their intention to do so?

Hello folks,I did the suggested procedure to uninstall the old version, then reinstall it and then the SP1. So far so good, it's very stable now, no ctds or freezes after a few hours flying with the new SP1, but I noticed a few things that had changed. Firstly, when ready to start up, grab my checklist and what a surprise when turning the packs switches off I noticed that the ducts pressure actually drooped instead of rise!!! preventing me to start up. After switching back and forth with the isolation switch which it is supposed to be at open position to feed air pressure to the no. 2 engine, suddenly rose and I was able to start that engine, then and ready to start up n…

The title says it all! Now coincidentally I decided to set my fps to unlimited and installed sp1 and I am seeing a 80% jump in performance. So exited I turned on light bloom and sank to 13fps so I turned it off. Now I am up in the low 20's maxed on just about everything at Complex 3rd party airports like Imaginesim KLGA and 1024 clouds from REX, etc, blah. I am having issues downloading the new paintkits. I have used both firefox and IE. I only get 276MB downloaded out of the 308MB for the 600 paintkit. Thats all they will download. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello guys, here's an excerpt from the SP1 Mods post (sticky)... Actually, they tweaked WAYYYY more than needed to see runway... Before you throw your rocks, know that this is the FIRST time after SP1, and YES, I did try to use ctrl+shift+enter/bkspc AFTER seeing this misplaced pilot's point of view. I installed the SP1 for the 800, tried loading a cold and dark panel state, and the CDU locked up with the message "LOADING SAVED PANEL STATE", so I thought, oh, must have to do like Robert said, and re-install the whole deal, so re-installed the whole deal, but never tried it again because of the 600/700 pack. So got the 600/700 pack installed, and went to fire up, went to load the cold and dark in the 600, and I got the same thing. I can work around it, will just do a shut down, takes all of 2 minutes extra, but just thought I would mention it. Should I send in a ticket for this as well?Other than it looks GREAT! Just firing up for my first flight in the 600.

The earliest full version of the NGX 800/900 that I have is the 15AUG11: 1.00.2916 version. I added on to that one up to HF4. After SP1 was released I uninstalled everything, made sure all folders were properly deleted. I then installed the aforementioned full version then the SP1 update over that with nothing else installed. I then installed some of the new liveries that were just released. I used the Austrian -800WL livery just now. Upon landing with autobrake 2 selected I noticed upon turning off the rwy the brake temps in the lower display all read 0.0. I tried a couple other livery then and all do the same thing. The brake temps are not moving off 0.0. Any advice?

Ok I don't know if I'm doing something wrong with RNAV and VNAV but I followed the tutorial that came with the plane to the "T"It just disarms when i engage TOGOAlso the gear retract sounds only works on take off. Not while your in the air :(

hi guys,just wanted to bring up what I believe is a minor issue which can be solved on your own.on a few paints like JANET and AUSTRIAN, some effects and features don't show up:the beacon even if switched on, the wheel chocks and pitot covers even if selected.this must be related to something wrong in the equipment_decal texture (alpha layer?)I made a quick test by repalcing on both these liveries the texture taken from another repaintwhich I knew worked fine (SAS and ASKY) and the missing stuff was back in place, onlything is that by keeping the switch the ground equipment is unproperly marked.something you can live with, would be anyway nice if the original files could …

After SP1 i did following observations regarding flaps 30,40 (app on ILS) pitch & power on 800WL:GW 58.3, flaps 30, Vref+5, pitch 2.5 deg, power needed 43% N1GW 58.3, flaps 40, Vref+5, pitch 0.5 deg, power needed 63% N120% more power between flaps 30 vs 40, & pitch differers of 2 deg seems way off!

I just received a new PC with Windows 7 on it. Installed FSX, SP1 and SP2 per the PMDG instructions (not in \programs folder and running FSX after each phase of the installation).Then I installed the 737NGX. Started FSX and selected the 737-800 PMDG. Answered the a couple of "Do you want to run this" questions. The up comes anther One of the "run this" question and immediately the PMDG activator dialog box pops up covering the FSX question. I try to enter my license code but after I try the first character it disappears. So I dont want to waste PMDG time submitting a ticket just incase I am doing something wrong however, I have the HGS installed on all the aircraft variants that I fly however all of sudden there is no green lines this happneded before the SP1 so it cant be that has anyone got any ideas on how to help me as I dont really want to install and re install.ThanksMattP.SDoes the NGX have wing flex because my wings are flexing.
