To have FSX display the true quality of the NGX textures you should have the TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096 under the Graphics section in your FSX.CFG file, that is old news but today when I checked my FSX.CFG file I found another entry under the Display section reading TextureMaxLoad=30Maybe I just haven't noticed it before but I can remember having that one before, anyone know what it is and what addon would put that one into FSX.CFG?

I'm seriously loving the NGX, even if I was one to critisise the pricing structure, but I couldn't resist getting it so it's no issue anymore.What is an issue, major or minor I don't know yet, is something that's happened since SP1 and 600/700 installation.If I set up at an airport for a flight, load one of the panel state's from the FMC, the captains FMC locks up as soon as I hit the execute button.It will stay like this until I open the FMC on the 2d panel, close it from 2d and it is back to normal.I decided to leave it alone to see if it would clear itself, but 15 mins later it was the same way.I know this didn't happen before, so is this something on my end or has any…

Hello, just a little question: when I program random failures (e.g. 1 every 10 hours) and press also execute to confirm them, this setting is lost the next time I load the NGX.Is this intentional or maybe a bug? Couldn't or shouldn't this be stored and saved till the user disengages this random failures? thanks,Günter

I have a problem with the LNAV Light after takeoff. When i press the TO/GA knob and i rotate and after 400ft i activate the AP then is the VNAV light on and the LNAV light off. The LNAV and VNAV is activated and ARM before takeoff. The Airplane is following the route correctly. What is the Problem?

Ok I unisntall all addon liveries, I unistall the 737ngx.I reinstall the 737ngx and loaded the sp1. no problem, I made a quick flight and have no problems.I pay for the extension pack down loded and it shows in the livery in fsx. but wend I tried to loaded in fsx all I get is a black screen.so how can I get it to show in fsx. thanks.

Some are old bugs, other new one.Found that with the new SP1 the reported bugs about YAW damper switch, fuel scavenge logic, spoiler autorestow logic are still present (hope in a fix in future)But Also found that with analog instruments the Stby horizon is correctly uncentered in C&D, but also the magnetic stby compass is uncentered.It will center as soon as the horizon will be centered.Also, Starting the NGX with the default flight (Yes, I deleted all old saved flights) the CDU display number one was inoperative while MSG light was functioning, by clicking on it and opening 2d fmc and restoring it solved the problem, then I saved the panel status.When I load a panel …

Hello,Have any of my fellow ATI users used supersampling with the NGX; it makes things look pretty blurry, but also quite pleasing.However it seems to have a massive performance impact, normally when running Adaptive Multi-Sampling i suffer no performance issues at all.It also appears to cause the NGX to crash.Just wondering if there was a trick to getting this working.Thanks

Just installed SP1. flying first flight and noticed that the fuel temp. is below -40. Not working at all, anyone else having this problem?William Coade

I use Topcat and for the 800 it says I can load aprox 23000lbs per comp front and back. The FMS only lets me load aprox 10000 lbs in each. Also under limitations in the PMDG vol 1 it says the -800 has a MTOW of 155,500 and Topcat says 173,000. What is up with the discrep.Thanks

Hello!I have read the readme in the simobjects folder and have made sure that WideViewAspect=False. However I still get the squashed wide screen 2d panels. How can I make the sim select the 4:3 panels? Also the view out the window appears to be straight down. Robert said in another thread to make sure to have the correct entry in FSX.cfg. I have done that.Any ideas?Thanks

A minor issue indeed but noticed the reg nr for SAS "Freja Viking" is still wrong in the v/c where it reads LN-RRW instead of LN-RRH which is the correct regnr. In 2D it's correct, it's only in the v/c it's wrong.

Hi,Today I download the new 737-600/700 expension. When I select this new plane a window ask for "product activation code" ,I trayed each and every number found on my order confirmation email (even my dogs name) but without results. Can somebody hightlight me where do I can get such a code! My NGX 737-900 is running perfectement well!Andre.

I have windows Vista and when I go to download the SP1, all these windows keep opening, I need to open it in something other than internet explorer, I had the same problem when I downloaded the base pack, but cant remember how I managed to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,

I can engage FD modes with both FMCs failed, and I get appropriate FMA indications just as usual. However, does it make sense then that I get no bars? Find this quite a bit confusing. If the FCC doesn't work without the FMCs, why would the FD engage at all, including AFDS modes, but then fail to present bars on the PFD.Don't have an exact reference to correct behavior at hand, so I thought I'd ask.EDIT Interesting - just noticed clearing all FMC failures will not exactly bring the FD bars back to live, let alone the APs... No other failures whatsoever.EDIT2 Ah, also clearing the failures won't get the FO displays alive again... wonder why they had failed in the first plac…

All seems to have gone smoothly and now ready to install liveries. Is it ok to use previously downloaded liveries or would it be better to download fresh ie. has there been any change with the liveries which previous downloads would result in corruption. Don't suppose so put better to be safe etc.Martin Madden

Hey guys, does any one by any chance have a panel save state Post-SP1 (i.e. created with NGX w/SP1) that is willing to share that condition in which theairplane is on the ground with the APU running, the IRS’s aligned andeverything ready to start the engines?I would love to have one if some one already got this Panel state.
