Hi Everyone, Just wanted to give everyone an update in regards to my PMDG_737NGX.DLL CTD issue. For those of you following my problem, I'm very happy to announce that its been fixed. Although the cause still remains a mystery, I will continue to try and isolate the cause. It may save others numerous days/hours of frustration trying to find the problem. After spending five days (6 to 8 hours a day) trying to isolate the CTD problem, I finally came to the conclusion that I was unable to find/correct the issue alone. Hi,after installing the SP1 I have a new view by the 2d-panel... with zoomfactor 1.00 I can see only the surface of the runway... after turning to zoomfactor 0.30 I get the "normal" usefull view... but: it seems to be, that everything runs much faster...maybe timefactor 4 or more!?!?!RegardsNorbert

I need help. I'm experiencing very strange engine startup problems. Here is what happens. I recently bought & installed the 737 PMDG and made a couple succesful flights (well, in terms of properly working software :) and starting the engines never caused a problem following the correct procedures. Then a couple of days ago after preparing the plane, programming the FMC, etc, the engines seemed to start but when i increased thrust nothing happened, so i increased thrust even more, still nothing only an alarm went off. I checked the engine display which showed normal values of 20.7% N1, 415 EGT, 61% N2 and 0.65 FF. I shut the engines down and tried a restart. Restarting…

Aside from pressing "W" I see no other way to use the HGS in 2D panel mode. Am I correct ? Thanks

Hi all,Just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem, and if so, I wanted to make PMDG aware so that they can fix the issue.I had the 800-900 base package, no hotfixes, then updated with SP1I spawn in, default textures, at dusk, in the 800NGXAnd this is what I get:Some of the textures are transparent, when in dawn/dusk/night conditions, and I have seen this before with other aircraft.Please post here if you are able to replicate the problem, so PMDG can fix this.Regards,Claudio

Hi,After having SP1 installed succesfully, I thought, let's share some nice observations (which are not in the list also).First of all, RSR said in the list, that the Chime sound, (no smoking sound), changed to a high-low (dingdong), instead of a single ding. But it didn't! It's still a single ding! But the sound is much louder now, which is nice. Not a big problem to me, but just an observation. Anyone else having this too?Maybe I understood the word high-low wrong, but I understood it as a dingdong.Also there's a really nice addition of a touchdown sound, the wheels hitting the ground when touching down. Could not run the uninstall option of the base NGX as message stated later version installed. Trying to run the later version, in order to select uninstall said original was still running - but no way to close this. So, I thought I would just run SP1 and then run again to select the uninstall option from this final version. I then planned to install original 2888, followed by SP1.But running SP1 again gives NO uninstall option! It will only install SP1 again,Please advise the way around this.I was originally running base with all hotfixes. I should say that SP1 does seem better as it is, but I would like to do a clean install as recommended.Thanks,William Evans

Hi fellow simmers.I love the realsim in the NGX, and I like to have everything planned before starting a flight. I just can't figure out where I can find the best and most accurate winds aloft data. I am using Active Sky Evo SP3, and I know that the program can show winds aloft, but I find it hard to make/load a flight plan in ASEWhat do you guys do to get winds aloft for your routes?

Hi guys, has anyone submitted a support ticket today an had any replies?Just that i did this morning and i know there is a big time difference between there and the UK but im kind of waiting for a new link as i do have the extended servies but i uninstalled my NGX earlier to reinstall it and then place the SP1 over the top . Hello guys, there must be a similar post discussed with this issue, but I'd like to note here with my case.I'm using i5 [email protected], 8G, 9800gtx+ and most options were set very low. (no autogen, water 1x, no traffic, no ASE, no REX)All tuning for FSX has been done, too. (including aff mask.)I always fly with default airports and the fps always shows more than 40+ (without fps limiters)But rarely, fps dropps about 5-15 only inside of VC. I always figured it would be awesome and it is... this thing is a rocket ship. Lightly loaded for WestJet YEG-YYC shuttles, it's ridiculous. VR is around 109 knots and it just jumps off the runway, climbing out at over 4500 fpm. Things happen fast in this one!!!Well done, PMDG. It was 100% worth waiting for.

PLEASE IGNORE ALL SORTED NOW DID NOT REALISE I HAD TO USE NEW ACTIVATION CODE WITH EXPANSION PACK, THIS HAS SINCE FIXED BOTH ISSUESHiSince buying the expansion pack I have 2 major problems.
