PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Would someone tell me the best method to uninstall the NGX.. Robert recommends it, but, I'm not sure how to do it. Thanks.win7 64 FSX/accelRay

Is there a trial version of the 737NGX? Don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but on the 800NGX, when I press F2 to engage reverse thrust I get a freeze of about 1 to 1.5 sec. This has occurred since SP1.I remember having something similar with PMDG's original 737NG and I cured that by putting another sound set on, as opinion was that the hesitation or freeze was being caused by the reverser sound file starting. That certainly seemed to be true then.Could it be the sound file now? I don't want to change this sound set as Armen has done such a brilliant job.Iain Smith

Yeah, I know, it is a quite stupid and not important question, but I have just now seen that in the FSX aircraft selection screen 737NGX non-wingleted aircrafts are reported as NG, while wingleted aircrafts has X suffix (NGX).Have you too?Don't remember if before SP1 all versions had NGX.Bye.

I have read several posts regarding this subject, but replies seem fuzzy or conflicting to me.My question is simply if I purchase the PMDG737NGX today, or wait until the DVD/CD is available, will SP1 already be included in the installation, or will SP1 still need to be added as a separate installation?Thanks:RTH

Great job on SP1 and the 6700 expansion. I'm having a great deal of fun with the 600!However, from what I can see a couple of minor inaccuracies still exist with some of the PFD symbology - I was quietly hoping they'd be among the hundreds of fixes you've already done.1) The F/D bars are supposed to 'retract' i.e. disappear, at 50 feet RA on all ILS approaches. Currently they only disappear on a fail passive autoland. The manual references this in FCOM vol.2. 2) With the EFIS/MAP display option selected single channel autopilot operation (with approach selected) should state '1 CH' in amber. At the moment it's got 'SINGLE CH' in amber. Not massive I know, but it's somehow…

The performance boost after SP1 is stunning. Amazing job.

It amazes me how many folks have apparently no idea where their original NGX installer is. It would seem only common sense that you would archive, on your own computer, any files which cost you money, or may be important to you in the future. At least keep your zips somewhere. I also keep a text file with all my passwords, secret key codes, etc. etc. It's a sad fact that software companies have to make it difficult on the honest paying customers to mitigate the damage caused by dishonest, thieving pirates.Save, Organize, Backup, Think Ahead

IFly is annoncing a special Home Cockpit Builder edition of their iFly b737 software. I really hope that PMDG releases their SDK soon or maybe their own version for Cockpit builders. Otherwise many Cockpit builders choose the iFly track. We have been waiting 3 months now, but still no SDK.rgs

Trying changing panel state.737NGX-800 SP1 installed.When I select a new panel state the prompt <Return changes to <Cancel.How is the new selection saved for the next startup?

Just installed SP1 and spawned at the gate at YSSY (Sydney Int.) only to find all my textures gone except for some Jetways as well as all some knobs in my VC gone as you can see on the MCP and my Gear lever gone!Help!Nick WatsonAlso can't reinstall because my installer says its outdated so where can I uninstall from? Today I decided to make a fresh start. I reinstalled Win 7 64 ultimate, installed all updates, installed FSX + Acceleration, installed NGX and SP1. Everything went smoothly and quickly.However, now I can't even load the NGX.I chose the aircraft, it appears in the preview pane, freezes and FSX crashes in module PMDG_737ngx.dllAnybody has any advise, I'm getting quietly very desperate...

Hello there,I would like to ask to you for last time if you could please check the design of the tail cone in external model. I think that it needs an improvment and add more courvature under the tail zone.I do know that I already posted about it and that you took the originals from Boeing but you already changed the virtual cockpit that it was supposed to be ok but finally it was adjusted. houston we got a problem!up till now i have not had many probs with the 737 ngx after realising there was a memory problem when using fsx i managed to trim things so all worked very well , i installed the last horfix with no apparent changes and still all worked ok.tonight i installed sp1 , yes it is smoother yes it still works in fsx australia but i have now tried 5 approaches into ksea and never yet managed to get onto thr glideslope. i have tried a fully fmc managed flight, and a manual flight but i always get a ctd before getting established.what is infuriating is that ksea worked perfectly before sp1guys have you any ideas?

HelloI used to use my CH throttle with FSUIPC latest version so I could have the reversers at the low detent works great but no matter what I do I always have a very large dead spot from the end of reversers to throttle increase, I have to move the levers about 2 cm before the throttles start moving workable but makes it difficult on approach when fine corrections are needed, I have removed all FSX calibrations and used axis assign and calibration through FSUIPC registered version, just about ready to give up and go back to FSX calibration, only happens with the NGX, curious if anybody has it working with the CH throttle IE no deadzone when coming out of reverse straight …

Hi AllThis issue is permanent now with SP1, if I have a saved situation i wish to load up with with the NGX fresh from win7 via fsx i get a fatal error so my start situation must be another plane then I have to switch to the NGX, if i disconnect my controllers it will boot up with the NGX situation ok but then obviously my controllers dont work even when plugged back in, not sure what to do about that other than leave the other plane as the startup situation

I glad has step climb function in SP1 save more fuel,but i notice has some wrong display in fmc,and ND display S/C has no problem.During cruise i notice STEP POINT block will show distance about S/C point,but some time will disappear or number not change...

On real a takeoff, aileron input is almost always needed to maintain wings-level. But, in FSX, I see almost no need of aileron input on take off. Is this right or NGX is too much stable compared to reality? Teo Halfen

first of all, congartulations all the PMDG Team, for the SP1 (incredible improvment), but in a previous post ryan says that the modification in the pressuritation panel to perform high altitude operations will be included in the SP1, i supose that this item will be included in the SP2???......Any news PMDG.Thank you in advance.Carlos C.
