PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi I am usually sitting around 20-30 FPS on the ground sometimes less at a very complex airport but its smooth, FSX FPS are set to unlimited, will an external limiter be of any benefit, apps use in my sig many thanks

I've been programming my FMC in the NGX and I get these route discontinuities frequently. How do I clear these? Or better yet, is it possible to simplify the flight route so that there is little chance of these discontinuities?Kareem

Notice on the back of the aircraft where it's suppose to say Boeing 737-600 it says 737-800. Not a big deal just thought I'd point that out.

When flying the ELDEE5 STAR into KDCA, the FMC miscalculates the descent profile. It correctly shows the crossing restrictions on the LEGS page, but intermediate fixes are unrealistically and illogically way outside any possible flight profile. The top of descent is calculated incorrectly, and all crossing restrictions are missed.This particular STAR has a lot of altitude restrictions (six), and looking at the T/D it currently calculates, I wonder if the FMC is silently ignoring all the altitude restrictions if the total is over a certain maximum number (four?).Steps to reproduce:1. Hi guysIs it normal that my FPS drops (DRAMATICALLY) whenever I zoom in on exterior view? I think it's just because there is a lot of detail going on, so it will drop. It goes from 20~25 (thanks SP1!) down to 5~7. Any ideas?

During a flight from KJFK to KLAS with FP: RBV J230 SAAME J6 HVQ PXV VIH ICT PUB DVC GRNPA1 the initial FL was F360. I departed at 1415Z and after reaching cruise level i entered a step climb to F380. I have something goofy happening with my 600. I take off on a standard day @143,000 lbs. at 1300 ft. elevation, retract gear, raise flaps, limit climb to 1500 fpm and aircraft will not accelerate beyond 190-200 knots climbing through 5-6000 feet. This is with engines firewalled. I am an experienced real world corporate jet pilot so know what is reasonable. All PMDG installation is carefully completed according to PMDG recommendations. Has anyone else had this problem? I love the PMDG 737 but need to get the performance figured out.

Have PMDG missed something here? Because I'm still getting panel freezes even after SP1 and they seem to get more and more frequent with every update...

I have the free UK2000 airports but I'd imagine the payware versions kill more FPS! When I was at 3.4ghz I couldn't run the Aerosoft Mega Airport Heathrow, but since then I've upgraded my graphics card, my CPU is 400mhz faster per core and SP…

I've had this problem since day 1 - August 5 - and it remains with SP1 so I thought I'd post and see if anyone else has encountered this problem. It happens only with the 737.I use the default keys for navigating within a view in EZCA: the four arrow keys and the page up and page down keys. When in flight under AP control, if I use any of these keys to move my view it disengages the AP. These keys are not assigned to any actions in the 737 setup. Nor are there any assignments for these keys in the FSX controller settings. I use fsuipc, but there are no assignments for these keys within fsuipc either.Does anyone else experience this or have any thoughts about what might be…

Hi Team,Thanks to a pilot by the name of Simon Holderness we were gifted with an FMC file that reflected a real world cockpit state. I see that the default states don't really have an "at the gate" panel state (hehe i'm a poet and i don't even know it) anyway... I know some airlines may differ between these states but can you guys at PMDG or even Simon, be kind enough to configure this panel state and resave it as I am aware panel states made prior to SP1 will create some issues?Thanks so muchP.S I have absolutely no crashes or issues since SP1 - you programmers are champions in my book!!Kelvin

There have been a couple flights recently where I've forgotten to switch the runway condition on Takeoff Page 2 in the FMC from dry to wet until after the V-speeds were calculated. This allowed me to see how they all changed when selected wet and I've noticed that all V speeds (1, R and 2) all decreased when wet is selected.Now, I understand V1 decreasing. It is going to take long to stop in wet conditions and is obvious that you would need to initiate an RTO earlier.However, I always understand VR and in particular V2 to pertain to aerodynamic properties. Principally how heavy you are (i.e. how much lift you need) and how fast you need to be going to produce said lift…

A quick question...I am very keen to use the "wear and tear" feature of the PMDG...I have flown some 100 hours with it, and it loads a specific cold and dark panel every time, with failures switched on...so far I have not had a single one, hydraulic fluid is always the same, and nothing changes.... I noticed you can load "previous flight"...is this the correct way to load the aircraft to make best use of the simulation features of the aeroplane?

Any chance the random failure mode could have an option for a chance per hour? I'd like to be able to set failures to occur randomly, as they do in real life, not just maintenance related. Or is this already in the service based failures?

Just wondering how do i do to turn that sound off Thanks in advance.

Hey PMDG and Captain,I know its nice to have a clean plane, but sometimes its fun to fly it very dirty and worn, just adding to the character to plane, like an old ford that keeps on running, especially with the 736's.anyways, i wanted to ask for your feedback, but would you guys like to be able to choose how dirty your plane is from the FMC. Then the painters could make 1 livery. and you yourself could choose if you wanted it spotless or a little rusty around the edges.PMDG - would that be a consideration, or even possible?ThanksMax

Hi All,Firstly let me say, what I am experiencing is in no way limited to PMDG aircraft, but I notice it more on the NGX - esp. since SP1.To explain the issue, when I select an aircraft the clue that something is about to go wrong is that the bit of the VC above PFD/ND etc. is missing. Going to external view shows no ailerons but more strangely it's like the fuselage has made itself into an upside down T.This doesn't happen all of the time, in fact it's more likely to happen late in the day after a few replays or loading of the same situation. Only way to correct is to reload FSX. Happens on both the PMDG repainted liveries and the user repainted liveries.So just curious …

Hey guys,really want to get the ngx but i am getting 20-30fps with uk2000 EGBB scenery and default planes, with default everything, i get 60-120 fps!!will i have to uninstall the scenery or what if i were to get the ngx??

Even on a good i7 laptop, I have had many stutters and pauses in the past....not anymore! due to the great performance manager that pmdg released, I have been running the lower res options for the displays, and eventhough they look a little bit less nice, they are smoother, I have boosted their perf. up on the FMS and now have enabled the FO displays when for when I want to play copilot.....I now can fly most areas with 30 locked by antilag (my new favorite) in the VC.And by the way... a little tip... getting rid of ALL the tweaks ever made, and just running FSX based on a default config has really helped me out!

I completed two short hops earlier today (KPHL to KLGA and KLGA to KAID). The NGX is simply amazing ! The more I fly it the more that I learn and uncover in this amazing simulation. The workload can be a bit high at times but that makes it even more interesting to me. The FMC is fabulous and all the systems work so well togetherI want to thank Robert and Ryan for something I just enjoy so much.Also, once I applied Bojates tweaks I have had one graphics snafu in 17 flights.

After the install of SP1 and the un-reinstall of the CS 757 4.6 I now have a mesh issue at Schiphol.I have done 3 flights, Luton-Schiphol 2x and Heathrow-Schiphol 1x and everytime the same issue.Reloading the scenery solves it.However reloading on approach is not something I would like to do everytime.Is it possible that some improvements might cause this ?Never had it before. All suggestions are welcome.

The attached screenshots show a fixed definition for N389DA which was the Delta 738 prior to SP1. The current Delta 738 shows as N389DA1. Also N533AS Alaska Airlines 738 pre SP1 appears on the Load AC Config page. Can I get rid of both of these pre SP1 configurations or are they there for some purpose?Thank youMichael Cubine
