Hi everyone, Does anyone know if I can install a livery that was made as a winglet livery and install it without winglets. There are so few 800 liveries without and I would like to have a couple of my favorites like Delta , AA, Westjet and Southwest...OK, a few... LOL! When I'm flying in go full screen mode and a pop up occurs FSX gets minimized and when I go to maximize it the screen just comes up black. I'm running windows 7.Lawrnce Gray

They still don't won't stay engaged - see other threads where, pre SP1, this issue has been thrashed to death. Was rather hoping it would be dealt with in SP1.Bruceb

Dear PMDG staff,Have the vortex generators on the nose been removed from SP1? I used a special EZDok view to see them from inside the cockpit as seen in this video I posted a few weeks back(visible fairly early on at 0:05). Anyone else noticed they are gone or is it just me? Alex Chung

Looking at all of the many posts regarding performance which altimately ends up with "How many FPS am i getting" begs the question, "How many FPS do we need" Not being an expert on all (or any) of the software configurations and thier effect on the performance or indeed operation of todays' computers i wonder, if you lower the required number of required FPS, does that free up rescourses for other demands on the system, thus creating a smoother sim? In other words, if you externally (or internaly) limit your FPS to that just above what can be detected by the human eye and not what seems to be a standard of 30, could you end up with a smoother sim with less stutters, mini …

Hello all,I got some trouble with the FMC after installing SP1.When I load the aircraft in 3D-Cockpit mode, I have to open the left FMC 2-D Panel and closing it to get access to the left 3-D FMC.This behavior is new since I installed SP1.Before that, I had access to the MENU-PAGE from left 3-D FMC without open and closing the left 2-D FMC.I would like to wait opening a support-ticket, maybe someone had a solution for this issue.andalusi,Switzerland.

Hi there.I Just got the PMDG 737 NGX.Installed it.I got it activated and it was sucesseful.I loaded the aircraft in FSX everyting is just fine except "[Displays,MCP,Electrical Display Unit on Over Head Panel,Radio Mode Panel]".They dont show any info.I can see the Attitude but there are no numbers on any of the display,on the MCP or Electrical Display Unit on Over Head Panel even on Radio Mode PanelPlease requesting some urgent help.Sameer R Mankame

Hello captains!There's an issue happening with my FSX and I guess you can help me. I installed 737NGX and all hotfixes on my Windows 7 64bits.The aircraft works fine during all the flight.But when I press ESC and then click in "End Flight"the FSX crashes and the main screen appears on the lower right corner of the screen,with a "NO TITLE" message, just like the message below: It happens only with NGX...What could it be? admittedly this is very minor but I used to like to show the climb profile on the PFD but for some reason I can't get it after selecting the CTR button. This wasn't an issue before SP1. I've checked all of the options in the setup and don't see one particularly for this. Is anyone else having a problem?thanks

Hey guys,I´ve installed SP 1 and since then having problems with two things.First: Every time I select the 737NGX in FSX it asks for the activation code. I instert it validates and I can load the plane.then Second: It loads with an ENG FAIL message in the central screen and I am not able to start APU or Engines. I tried reinastalling the whole thing but no luck. Some help please. Thanks.

I searched, but was not able to find an answer, perhaps I missed it, but the panels are too bright for my taste, I am constantly lowering them by three (3) clicks each, where is this information saved so that I do not have to do this every time? Is it also saved with Panel State Saves???

accidently pressed it at night and it produced a sort of 'spotlight' in the dark "cold&dark" cockpit of the NGX. so very handy to look for the battery switch.Wasn't aware it existed but the same key didn't produce the same light in another aircraft nor could i find this key to be used via the controller (buttons) settings in FSX.Is it NGX specific?I must confess i have not yet consulted the RTFM about this, so hit me and insult me when i should have.

Hi-trying a flight EGLL-LOWI.the plan from vroute has ALGOI as a waypoint but it's not in the FMC database. This is a pretty popular destination so I'm wondering if others have seen this?is there another acceptable waypoint to use in place? thanks

When I fly 744x I use the Normal Procedures checklist from AOM. It is short (15 pages) and there is everything needed to do and to check, to have a flight with all systems working as they should. Now I bought NGX and there was no such checklist. The normal procedures from FCOM is like 80 pages or more and you have to choose from different options, configurations etc. It's a little bit unpractical for Fsim. I wanted to have something like the one for 744x So I've done a short normal procedures checklist for NGX. I was using the FCOM, as well as Tutorial V1. I remember having to put a file from FS9 in the folder which solved the problem for me, but I just cannot remember what it was called! Hi guys,I'm having some problems here and I don't find the reasons, so maybe someone could give me an idea.When I set the flap configuration on CDU, it doesn't show as it should on PFD.Let's say that I set flaps 40 for landing, on CDU show 40/135, but on PFD shows only 135.Does anybody know why it's happening ?

Right now im getting good FPS running two monitors. One monitor is just for VC while the other monitor hilds the 2d panels. Everytime the mouse is on the VC side my FPS go down, any suggestions.ideas why?

Hi all,Two silly questions for today, but I'm not sure of what I'm doing, so let's get it as real as it is.Regarding the Minimums settings:- what difference and what / when to choose in the Minimum knob: Baro or the other ?- how to properly calculate the Minimums value ?Regarding the derate, I understood the role of derate, but in the FMC, I'm always setting 30° as temperature, as it's what read in a tutorial. But this mean that derate is only in use when temp is >30° or when we choose a % derate manually ?Edit: what Cabine altitude to set irl ? Hi Folks, every time i try to lift my new PMDG 737 NGX in the air both engines return to hardware thrust-lever position after 75% of the take-off run (Autothrust still active!).The cockpit is set up as usual, V2 is set from QRH recommendation in FMC.I´m sure it´s my mistake, but i don´t find out which settings are wrong.
