PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

    I launch Fsx then I choose 737 800 NGX.I am in the cockpit with the lit(switched on) engines. I choose to the FMS then to the menu save.I select colddark.I have the account in rebour then the indication " loading panel state ' ". 10 mn to late, I always have " " loading panel state ' " in the FMS.I specify that I have 737 NGX with SP1 and that before Sp1 this function is good.Have you a solution. Thank you

    Hello,When using the external FPS limiter advised by Bojote, I get exactly one third of the frames I ask for. 20FPS--> 6,6 FPS. 30 FPS--> 10FPS.I'm sure its me but I don't have a clue what to do.Bert Van Bulck

    is such a turn-off to me after flying the NGX. It's just incomparable. It's tantamount to driving your Audi A8 for years just swimmingly and then, you receive a surprise gift of a Maybach. You just can't go back to your Audi, no matter how much you try to suspend your thoughts that they're equally good. The NGX is that good.How depressing.

    I spend lot of time going left and right up and down along the taxi ways looking for my dreamt runway.I can help myself up with the Garmin of FSX but I am usually forced to cross the grass or take the wrong way to reach my runway. Not to mention during night, I seem a lone wolf hanging around in a limbo.How do you manage to move, maybe with a GPS, across taxi runways ?Thx

    The VC panel of the NGX is a piece of art (as we all know...)!Therefore I disabled the 2D main panel. Is there any undesirable side effects for doing this? I tried very quickly and everything looked allright.Thanks

    So there I was at beutifull KSFO and on takeoff my autothrottle revs the engines up past redline and the aircraft does an uncommanded roll to inverted to the left. Luckily I have crashes turned off for reasons like this. I bounced off the ground, rolled to upright and continued the flight with no other problems. The settings for the PMDG are throttle overides in A/T arm so I cannot explain the joystick throttle interfering. I was in TOGA. This was the first and last time I used my last shutdown panel state w/o going to cold and dark first and this was the first time this happened.     Hi Pilots, PMDG supportjust finished a flight from EDDP to ENGM.I shut down all the sytems as for turning around the aircraft for a follow-on flight.I entered a new flightplan fom ENGM back to EDDP and everything looked fine so far.I set up the aircraft for S/U - P/B - taxy and T/OAfter T/O, I was not able to engage CMD-1 again, FDs were set correctly (I believe ;-)Deselected all autoflight options and toggled the AP dissengage bar, reselected autoflight (LNAV/VNAV/ATHR)No joyI tried CMD-2 (was engaged manually instead) and it worked fine for the rest of the flight, except APP dual mode mode on final.(ILS freqs were checked -ok)Nevertheless I made it safe back to EDDP.Wha…

    I have problem with 900 VC, it looks the point of view (eye position) is moved somewhere down, and front. It looks very funny, and it is not possible to see instruments. And when I return eye position to correct place manually, the VC is not showed correctly. Some instruments are still unreadable. Someone else met this?

    I got the the 600/700 addon yesterday and all the takeoffs I've done......well attempted...have failed. I go though the weights as I normally would with the 800/900, I use full passengers with 30lb of baggage for each and the appropriate fuel needed +5 reserve for the flight and put it into TOPCAT (which uses the iFly 737-700, still similar weight and balance) and it tells me that I should have enough room to takeoff on some of the longest runways. However I find myself getting no response from the aircraft at VR even when I pull the yoke full back, if my VR is 130 for example I may only lift off at say 170-180. Does anyone else have this kind of problem and have solution…

    It seems I discovered why my APP button can't be activated anymore.If I fly without plan I can catch the glide, if I use a .rte produced by FSC 9 it works fine but the APP button doesn't work anymore.Anyone who use FSC 9 has the same issue ?If anyone would try a 15m very short flight from Graz to Vienna here is my .rte ( flight plan ) file produced by FSC 9 just to see if it is my fault or FSC one.There are non SID and STARS , just a final transition to ILS 34.Thx a lot in advanceThe forum doesn't allow me to upload the file but if someone is so kind to give it a try I can let him have it, just few kbs.-

    After installing SP1 I initiated FSX and start to load the a/c. Engines start running during the "countdown" of systems installations. However when the countdown is ended immediately there is a rattling noise and indication of engine failure. After a couple of seconds all alarm bells and whistles start to come alive. So I followed the instructions again and uninstalled/reinstalled the 737NGX completely to start clean. Did run the SP1 installer after the re-install. Starting up the 737 NGX delivers the same performance: engine failure, lot of noise and a slow but surely melt down of the a/c.Any idea where this is coming from?

  18. I downloaded the PMDG-NGX 6/700 Expansion model, ran the EZCA config.exe to add the aircraft and ran FSX. When I open EZdok to set the camera views, the V/C, A/C and world cameras are all gray---not showing pilot-in-command etc. Any suggestions?

    I know that within US and Canada 18000 feet seems to be the common tr level.I have read that within EU there are many Transition levels depending on the country, the airport and so on.So, to get close to the reality meanwhile avoiding to micromanage each single flight, which Tr level do you use in EU ?

Hi,I've got a question concerning the autobrake and reverse thrust system in the 737NG.Ever since I've flown the NGX, it occurred to me that the stopping power of autobrake 1 or 2 in conjunction with (full) reverse thrust is enormous.It appears that the real-world NG takes a lot longer to slow down.From my experience flying on the NG as a passenger, the reversers are engaged on touchdown and are kept on max for about 8-10 seconds.Doing the same in the NGX will result in a stop on the runway with a medium-loaded aircraft.My questions:1.     Since SP1, I'm randomly losing the green illumination of the LNAV button in flight. LNAV itself does not seem to disengage since it continues to be announced on the PFD and the aircraft continues to follow the given route.Turning LNAV off and back on brings back the green illumination.Didn't have that issue pre-SP1.Any thoughts?

    Having spent a lot of time reading this forum i assumed the whole FS world was flying PMDG's NGX by now but when visiting the flightsim weekend event in the Netherlands 5/6 nov i found out that the lion share of 737 flyers were using the iFly or the PMDG NG (FS9) version. So many people are flying with multiple monitor setups using 2D panels with an abundance of hardware controller devices and so many are still using FS9.     Firstly, I understand the basics behind why this may occur on landing...however when I got this the other day, I'm not entirely sure I should.However the issue is, that I had this light on touching down the other day, manual landing, autobrakes set and spoliers armed(green armed light on) throttles to idle during the flare, touchdown, then apply reverse, autobrakes working, but orange speedbrake do not arm light on, But on switching to spot view my spoilers were up! So am i just not understanding things completely about the why I'd get this light, and what it exactly means? moving the lever I have mapped for the spoilers, cleared the light and lowered my spoilers.But my …
