PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi,I consider buying the Saitek radio panel for use with the 737 NGX.Does anybody have experience with this? Does it work as it should with the 737NGX?Thanks in advance,Peter

I treated myself to 2 hours in a 737NGX full motion LevelD Simulator in a Miami Flight School. It cost me $1,000 but I wanted to see how my flying the PMDG 737NGX prepared me for the real thing. Here are my observations:I did started in a cold dark cockpit for a flight from KLGA to KEWR. I did a pretty comprehensive start -up. APU, IRS alignment, program the FMC, etc. Due to the time limit I had to skip some check list items- but did a pretty much complete overhead panel configuration. I installed 737NGX sp1 and see "inop" as labels on both MFD buttons and on the VOR2/ADF2 switch for the ADF2 position. ADF2 works but neither MFD button does anything. Is this my problem or is this an sp1 problem? Has anyone else experienced this. PMDG makes great products.Dave

ok so I looked and looked for days now and can not find answer to my question.After landing at several airports that are not a sea level I get a LDG ALT next to the baro readingon right lower of display. This could be a dumb question but thanks for the help.

Hello,I am having some very minor problems with the NGX, and I thought I might mention them to see if there is any solutions or if anyone else has experienced them.One problem is with the parking brake. It is supposed to release when you push on the toe-brakes. Mine will do that once per flight. After that it will not release with the toe-brakes again until I load a new flight.The other is that today after I landed and parked, my engines stayed running after I shut off the engines with the cut-off levers. I could see that the cut-off levers were off in the VC, but the engine gauges on the engine display showed that they were still running and you could hear them.The p…

To all:I have a Saitek pro flight yoke, now two years old. However, it still runs to the full range of motion on all axes and is flawless when synced; almost. NOTE: I do have all of the USB ports in use both on the yoke and my computer; I am not sure if that is a factor. Anyways, when in the NGX with sensitivity on full and null zone to zero, movement of the controls is not very smooth, especially when making fast adjustments. I get at least 30fps on average, so I do not believe that is an issue. Do you guys have the same controller sensitivity and null zone settings, or does something else work? Hello.Just a short question; is it possible to select the units in the HUGS panel? So far I was only able to enter FEET indicated by the ' symbol. Flying mostly in Europe some charts only show metric values for the runway length. I don't have a problem converting these values, but it would make life a bit easier resp. faster :( .Is this something planned for a future Service Pack?Best regards,

Hi i have just installed 737NGX and when i alt and tab to the desktop and back again it wont load FSX. It will work on other aircraft but not 737.Regards Chris

there is written in Tutorial 1 manual, that never load fuel and payload via FSX interface. I did it once, before I read this. does it mean I have to reinstall 737NGX to work properly, or it will not work properly only in that specific flight, when I did it?

I flew from KSEA to KSFO. Everything went fine til I was 22 miles from KSFO and I recieved a fatal error, then flight sim is restarting! This seems to be a regular occurance on my flights.I am running win7 x64, i2500k (not overclocked), 8 MB of memory, FSX acceleration, using 737NGX 700WL. Temps on the GPU run around 50 and the CPU around the same!

My radio altimeter shows -4 feet, when I am on the ground. Is there something to calibrate it, or is it normal?

Hi PMDG! Haven't purchased the NGX yet, wondered if it will work with my PFC Jetliner console with MCP, column yoke and rudder peddals. Can the NGX be configured through FSUIPC?

My O/S had a problem and Windows decided to do a roll back. Consequently, my 737NGX became corrupted.I tried to re-install it from the begining, but it advised me I had the SP1 version with 600/700 expansion and that I would need to un-install the whole package before I could re-install it. The un-install was also corrupted and therefore I can't un-install in order to re-install everything.The proagram is theer on on c:/ drive, but FSX can't see it. I thought the airctaft.cfg files were changed, but even after tinkering with them, it still won't work.I re-installed the SP1 and 600/700 expansion, but with very limited success.Can anyone provide a solution to this? I have just attempted to reinstall my PMDG 737 NGX and activation was rejected.Firewall off, but AV onI used all of the numbers on my purchase and receipt material (in sequence) - these were the order number; the order code starting with the letters IJ...; the SKU ....And lastly the licence: NGX8.. etc. I copied and pasted all of the above but I was told each was an invalid activation code.I don't count this a dispute as I suspect it is brain trouble on my part. I am also happy to pay for an extended download facility if that is possible - but I would love to get flying again soon.Ian McPhail

Hi there allJust making a quick post regarding some issues i've been having after the SP1 install.before i go any further i'd like to state that i did a clean install with the NGX including deleating the PMDG file and any saved panel states.I'm still experiencing ground contact issues with my aircraft while stationary on the ground and more noticeably once landed and taxing back to the terminal. And one other that just buggs me is the HUD compass rose are still dropping behind the glare shield. I'll appologise in advance if this topic has been previously discussed and rectified. Is anyone else experiencing these same issues after the SP1 release?Regards
