PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

hello I was taxing to the runway and the plane started turning to the left. im using CH products pro pedals and i did a COLD AND DARK. sometimes it turn and sometimes it doesn't. can someone please help. Regards Anthony

Hi everybody, I'm a new user of this Addon. I've just a little "problem" with engines sounds in virtual cockpit or 2D cockpit. When I'm looking front of me, I'm hearing all sounds, clicks ect..... but no engine sounds. If i change the point of view, like watching pedestal,at left,right etc...... all is ok Is it a problem of setting or I've a problem on my computer ? Thanks in advance for your answer. Hi, I'm having a strange problem with PMDG 737, all makes and models. There is like a long rope and a ball attached to it that hangs off the top of the tail. I have attached a picture to show the proble. I have a 3 monitor set up, so the pic may be a little hard to see, but you should be able to make it out. I had added a few different liveries at one time through the repaint manager and since then, I have the problem. I have uninstalled the liveries, but the rope is still there, on all my liveries, even the stock ones. I have uninstalled PMDG entirely and reinstalled, but no luck. The problem is still there. Does anyone know, or have an idea…

Is the 737 the only plane that you have to manually put in your cruise altitude on the cabin pressure panel? I don't see it on the 747 or 767. Why is this a manual process? I sometimes forget to do this and it's left at 10,000 (when flying at FL200) - bad pilot Pauly! But shouldn't this be an automated process?

Can anyone tell me what the shortest routes these planes fly in real life operations. And can you include flight plans if possible please. Rob lambert

Hi chaps, Just discovered this, and after some reading I understand that it'll fail a few things after a certain amount of time - pretty cool feature and will certainly help with my QRH reading for those dreaded recurrent sim sessions. Question, I've had it turned off so far, and I've done around 55 hours in EI-EFY - I've just turned it on. Is there any way of telling the failure manager that I've already done 55 hours or not? If that's how it works, anyway. Thanks

Which manual contains info on panel states? I'm confused. I've tried to start the engine in NGX Short but my N2 doesn't go above 18.1. When I turn on CutOff Switch 1, the engine doesn't start. What am I doing wrong? Jacek Gawecki

I've just run into a bit of a snag on a flight from CYWG to a fictional airport I created in the arctic, just north of N78*... The total distance the FMC is calculating is about 450nm longer than the FSX flight planner is giving me, and the total sum of the individual leg distances on the LEGS page when I manually add them. When I manually add the leg distances on the LEGS page, I get a value approximately the same as the FSX flight planner, about 1878nm. However, the total distance on the FMC's PROG page for the flight is 2328nm. Not seeing anything unexpected when stepping through the flight plan on the MFD. One for the 737NG experts out there! As we know, it's possible to pre-arm the LNAV and VNAV modes on the ground in our beloved NGX. But I thought that this was not possible on the real 737NG ? ......... or is it the case that the 300/400/500 series did not have LNAV/VNAV prearming on the ground, but the NG always has? ... or maybe it's an airline option? Would be interesting to hear (knowledgeable, rather than guesswork) views. :smile:

Hi all! I've been trying without success to use the cutback option in the FMC. When I get to the T/O ref page it allows me to select custom altitudes for other options (restore/cutback/reduction, etc.) but the option Cutback ON/OFF is unresponsive. By clicking on the corresponding LSK nothing happens. I thought it was a conflict with the altitudes I selected and tried to change them around with no success. Is it something else? maybe thrust reduction interfering? Can anybody point me in the right direction? Cheers,

Hi everyone. I have the pmdg 737 NGX, and i love it!! BUT i have one problem, and that is: When i arrive to my destination are there no buildings onle gate-arms!??! I know that pmdg is the problem, because i maked a test, first did i fly with the pmdg and again there was no buildings only gate-arms at the arrival airport. But then did i try the default 737 for FSX on the EXACT same route, and all the building was at the arrival airport = perfect?!? So PMDG must have something to do with it? Pleas Help, because im in love with the PMDG 737ngx. Thanks Best regards William

Hey guys I know this isn't the right place to be posting about this topic but I couldn't really find any site. Today I started to use the world of AI traffic and it good in all but for example in ybbn I have the jet star and qantas traffic parked at the virgin Australia gates. And then also I have a qantas 747 parked in the domestic terminal! Does anyone know how to assign a AIRCARFT and AIRLINES to a certain terminal and gate? Much appreciated Drake

I've been trying to do an autoland with the 737NGX. I have done so many times when I was flying the plane regularly but I haven't flown the plane for quite some time now and I wanted to test the autoland with Latitude, to see how good (or bad) it is. ^_^ However, I can't get it done: the airfield I was trying to test this all on is Manchester (Orbx England). During my last try I noticed I got G/P on the PFD instead of G/S. I have read elsewhere on this forum that G/P means (simply put) the ILS is missing a feature that will enable an autoland. hello, i would like to add the 'lua' entries for noseup and nosedown with FSUIPC in order to be able to read the NGX's trim values, without using the VC. I saw a post wheresome had posted the correct code for these lua files, but unfortunately it was using some sort of forum spoiler syste,, that did not allow me to copy and paste the text. (I tried writing it manually and it did not work). Could someone that uses these 'lua' entries please be so kind as to post the two text files, or even just copy the content into a post, that I can copy and paste. thanks. Dave Fennell.
