Just installed the latest update for FS2Crew and when I started FSX my 737NGX aircraft were all skeletons... you know, like seats on a flat bed truck! Everything else seems fine. Now, I did lose all my add-on liveries when I upgraded FS2Crew and had to re-download them and install them (using the installer, of course). What could have gone wrong and how to I get my textures back. Hi good day all. i was hoping someone can point me in the correct direction of calibrating my logitech xtreme 3d pro joystick via FSUIPC 4 for the ngx as the response from the joystick is just plain awful. all turoials ive read about have left me with fully deflected rudder and extremely sensitive controls. obviously ive been doing something wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi all, recently ive encountered the abrupt crashing of windows desktop manager on starting FSX. Im running windows 7 64bit. I did a couple of online seaches but they came up with nothing. Any ideas or solution will be greatly appreciate as this may be contributing to a decrease in perfirmance.

I have just installed PMDG 737 and am trying to add the British Airways livery. I have found the livery and have downloaded and in my download file I have the following; PMDG_737ngx_80WL_BA However when I click on the PTP File I receive an errorfile stating that the archive is either in unknown format or damaged. Could anyone help me please. In addition in FSX the inside of the aircraft looks fine but when I go to the outside views I only see bits of the aircraft-just mainly the wings-very strange. Again any help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Hi guys, with the upcoming release of the 777, it would be nice if i could fully understand the NGX first lol. So my question is would anyone be able to help me 1 on 1 and guide me through a flight? I know there are great tutorials and i have tried them, but it would be nice if i could learn to apply it on my flights so I can learn from it. What I'd like is someone to mirror a short ksan-ksfo flight with me (we both fly two separate flights with same departure/arrival) while on skype or something so i can learn everything that i might be missing. Been having a problem with skeletonized PMDG 737NGX product ONLY (all other acft including other PMDG acft are fine) after installing FS2Crew sp. Had worked fine since purchase a few months ago. Dear friends, I created a script to use my Saitek X52 PRO to command all PMDG 737NGX SP1c 30 MCP buttons & dials and leave it available under FSUIPC 4.8.x.x menus so you can associate the way you want. I´m using the 3 Saitek modes using the SST software. This software enable Saitek commands to be associated to computer free keystrokes. To work properly you need to open Profile Editor, click Programming and click Test Profile lefting it opened while using FSX SP2. Hi, Hope this thread's ok here (if not, sure a Mod will move it) :smile: Two questions about FS2Crew for the NGX;- 1). Does it affect frame rates / performance at all ? 2). The FS2Crew website only seems to sell the "button control/voice control bundle" but I have no interest in voice control, do they not sell the button control version only, does anyone know? Cheers. Well its becoming a bit annoying i suppose, for those medium to long haul flights, when you reach a current altittude that was assigned by ATC, you will get a message further down in the flight when they request you to either climb or desend because you are below or above your assigned altittude. Yet when I press "B" to reset altimeter above 18000, nothing happens. Still recieve that message from ATC that im either below or above the assigned. This is very annoying as it ruins the whole flight ! Anyone else getting this problem? I do believe its related to the plane itself. Please help thanks!

Hi all, Through bad luck I had to change to Windows 8. Now the 738 NGX goes amok . Will not keep speed in autopilot. Jumps from overspeed into stallspeed within seconds. Have wind smoothing on both in AS2012 as FSUIPC and tried these separate from each other as well. Anybody else had this problem? If so please advise PS. Another 737NG company, the iFly, offers a cockpit builders option, to be able to completely build a cockpit around the iFly, providing external displays. Seems to me much similar to Project Magenta, but the iFly delivers the sounds, flight characteristics and all the goodies that come with it. Besides, it's cheaper tham PM (I asked). Does NGX provide anything similar? I'm aware I could undock the displays on the same computer, but the idea is running separate computer only for the graphics and sounds, rest, the computational data, display refreshing, ran off another computer etc... meaning the best possible performance in 3-screen configuration, giving you basically e…

Hi there, I have noticed that GoFlight have released 2 new items of hardware that NGX jockeys might be very interested in. I , certainly am interested because they look like being very useful. 1. GF-EFIS 2.GF-MCP-PRO They look highly realistic and are good value too. For users like myself who intend to build a full size home cockpit this looks to be a very good alternative to the hugely expensive alternatives out there. On the GoFlight website compatibility charts for these two products it seems we need to purchase an interface software specifically designed for these items, with the NGX, from PMDG. I am flying a SWA 737-700 on a KLAS to KRDU sector and in initial climb I got the OVHT/DET light illuminated. After 10 minutes or so of putting my printed manuals to good use I discovered the cause of my problem was a fault in the APU fire detection system. According to the QRH I can no longer run my APU. I don't know what caused this problem, I'm doubtful it's a Service based failure as this is the first flight I have conducted in this repaint. (Chris Hicks Fabtastic New Mexico One). Working my way through Tutorials with new 737-NGX and thought maybe I was inadvertently powering something off. tried going back through tutorial number 2 several times mfrom cold and dark start in the hopes I wopuld isolate something I was missing. each time I get to the step whwere you verify engine oil level and i am directed to the center lower ND there are no numbers present. Same with rest of the LCD Displays. No Numbers anywhere including MCP and radios. FMC works fine. any thoughts?

Hi all. I tried failing an engine driven generator on short final during approach with LAND 3 (fail op). This resulted in the autopilot disconnecting. I understood that any single failure wouldn't prevent an auto land with a LAND 3 annunciation? What am I missing? Thanks.

Just purchased the 737NGX two days ago. My question is this. While I am learning to use the FMC I would also like to fly for my VA. So, using the default 737-800 this is how I would fly the FP. Take off and once airborn and flying the heading of the take off runway...no problem. Once I received the heading ATC would give me I would enable the NAV button and the aircraft would turn to headings that ATC would tell me to turn to. I just had to make sure that I did climb etc. when ATC would instruct me. My questions is since there is no GPS/Nav switch on the NXG, how would I do this? I have both flight directors turned on but I can't enabel LNAV. Is there a way to fly the s…

What I'm trying to understand is the meaning of the A or B suffix used with some altitudes in, for example, a SID departure profile - for example what do the following mean : 3000A, 3000, 3000B. This evening, a flew a series of CAT II and CAT III approaches using the HUD in the AIII mode. These appraoches concluded with a manual go-around and flying the published missed. When the TOGA buttons were pressed, the FGS modes in the HUD changed to TOGA but the HUD mode remained in AIII. Also, once TOGA is engaged the Flight Guidance Cue (little circle that you follow with the Flight Path Symbol) s removed and does not return once a lateral or vertical mode is selected for the mised approach. Therefore, there are no guidance commands presented on the HGS to fly the missed approach approach. Also, the TOGA Target Pitch line is not displayed in AIII mode after TOGA…
