PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I'm using the AoA downloadable NGX Ezdok settings - but even with a pretty soft landing (200fps according to FSPAX) I get a "bounce" visually that takes me quite out of the immersion. Anyone got any tweaks to help with this, please? I really like the other AoA settings, in terms of runway bumps, turbulence etc - just want to reduce the landing shake.

Was thinking how good it would be to have a fly in event on vatsim where it's 737 pilots flyin into one airport get local atc involved in it. Thinking uk atc would be up for it. Let us know what people think. Even if we do a flight between two airports could be fun if we could get atc involved and make it a regular event or meet up on vatsim. Rob lambert Speedbird 9

Is anybody able to tell me how to get the shockwave landing lights to work with the PMDG 737NGX in FSX, I have followed the instructions on several sites inserting the necessary lines into the aircraft config file but to no avail if fact, if you remove all the (Lights) lines from the aircraft config file the PMDG lights still work which, leads me to question all the simmers who state " just insert the extra lines in the aircraft config file" can anybody offer any constructive advice ?. Frustrated.

Hi Guys, I got a little problem with the -600 and 700. If starting the APU and I select the APU generators (blue light is on) the mech chime comes on and it seems like there isn´t any connection to the APU. I get the same problem with the GPU and yes it is available and the light is on. I don´t have this issues with the -800. Another thing, is there a way to aviod having to enter the activation code every time the NGX is selected ? Best regards Peter Lund

I do own pretty much 80% of all PMDG products, from 2004 and now FSX, why, best quality product out there. However, saying that, been building new system(s) for video editing and FSX and therefore had to change the installation of the program to new hardware. 3 months ago it happened with the 737NGX FSX, it told me I exceeded the amount of installations. Had to open a ticket and played the game of waiting for their response. Reactivation was completed. Now it is the same situation, had to open a ticket and the waiting game began again since last night. I know folks have had problems with this but its a first for me, I tried to have a flight today when a screen poped up saying this game needs online activation, so I re entered my pmdg activation code and it excepted it, I went on my way but noticed soon after wards that all my displays were black, so I restarted fsx selected my ngx and it prompted me again for an activation code, repeated the steps above with the same result, Its kind of annoying, is there a fix?

Just purchased a new laptop, and installed FSX + PMDG8/9X Series. I cannot get any Liveries appearing after installation? Why is that so? I used the Livery Manager (Runed as Admin) but STILL no luck. Please help? Thanks!

Hi I purchased the PMDG737NGX and I'm bussy with learning all the systems and I'm now in a stage I want to change the skin of the aircraft. So I went to the PMDG site and downloaded some skins and after that started my livery manager selected the file and it started loading and immediatly after crashed so I started again same happenend can anybody please help me?

Just a thought.......any chance PMDG can provide/integrate RAAS into the NGX in the upcoming SP2? PS: I know there is a freeware version out there which sounds good, but having PMDG integrate it makes it clean. Rgds, Steve

Hey guys, I have a question about the PMDG 737NGX Re-entry procedures. I've been unsuccessful at descending through FL360 and It has me scratching my head. Currently, i've been using a standard VNAV descent profile to begin my re-entry but I always end up in an aircraft overstress. I tried to RTFM, but I couldn't find anything pertaining to atmospheric re-entry in the POH or SOP. When reaching FL360 or above, what attitude do you guys normally use to continue your descent down to the STAR? Also, I've had serious issues getting the APU to run through my cruise and descent. I'm following Ryan's tutorials but the APU simply won't start, it gives me a "APU FAULT" …

Hi....I recently change my Hard disk (2Tb) and Im going to reinstall everything. Untill now everytime that Ive reinstalled my 737 ngx all was ok....but now with a new hd dont know. Will I loose some activation? If anyone here can guide on what should I do I will be happy.... Cheers

I have been using the NGX since it came out and recently built a new PC. I have to say that given my new specs I really thought I could crank up the details more but I have been disappointed to say the least. I switched from ATI to Nvidia and I am using Inspector but it seems my older ATI 5850 card performed better than my brand new GTX 660 TI. I currently use the 304.87 Nvidia driver and the recommended Inspector settings I've read on these forums ( AA- 8xS & AF 16x).The most annoying issue I am having now is that I get missing blocks of textures when switching views....something I never had an issue with before. Hi, I've had FS2Crew for some time know and I got a bit curious howthe interest is on the forum, to join me on multiplayer flights or offline (preferably VATSIM) as my captain on the NGX. Hi all! I know you can display the FPA of choice on the HGS via its control panel and that you can select the required FPA in the DEP/ARR page of the MCP if no specific approach is selected for a rwy but I was just wondering, is there a way to select it via the MCP as an alternative to VS? Also, can somebody more knowledgeable than me explain the difference in between a slope expressed in º and as a % and how to convert it? Thankyou!

Hello folks, With ONLY the 737NGX, I am getting some "cracking" and sound break up....this just started a week ago. With any other planes, default or add-on's the sound is fine...also, videos / music / etc. are fine from the desktop. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Hi, only with pmdg 737 ngx when i escape from flight or crash, windows always restart the fsx from the beginning! Is threre a solution?

hello guys, i dont know if that is a stupid question or not!, but i wonder why i cant see the rudder, elevators and ailerons of ngx settle down, yoke or deflect with the direction of the wind like the queen of the sky pmdg 747 when the hyd and elec pumps are off, if someone have these movement in fsx pls send pics or it may be a property of ng737 unlike airbus or other boeing types! please send pic of 737 at gates so we can clarify this topic, thanks!

Do to a major malware I had to reformat and reinstall Windows 7 and FSX I have FSX in it's own folder on C: I also have my PMDG 737 NGX in a zip file along with my license. What procedure do I use to install the NGX? Thank You

Hello guys. First of all im new at this forum and i have a 3 question As you guys know that ngx have sdk now and i think that mean we can read datas from ngx. So 1.Will flaps gauge of opencockpits work with ngx.If yes is it enought to just modify the servo values. 2.Can i make a annunciator of Le flaps transint and Le flaps EXT with ngx by the defult script of the opencockpits. 3.Can i make the landing gear annunciators of ngx with again with the defult opencockpits script with master card. Before I get to my issue, I'd like to say that I work as an Operations/Ramp Agent in Berlin, Germany at TXL/EDDT. I get to walk around and go in the cockpits of 737-700/800 all day with Air Berlin. The way the aircraft is setup is with 4 loading compartments. 1 & 2 are in front, with CPT1 typically for crew bags at 15kg per piece. This is also not including in the DOW. If we have a dog or other animal, they might be placed in CPT 1 or 2. CPT 3 & 4 are in the back. CPT3 is typically where all bags will be loaded. We take an average of the total weight by the number of bags to get our "per bag weight". If there is a full house, for trimming purposes, we will load …
