PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Anyone else have this problem? It only happens with the NGX. (Not the 747-400 or MD-11). It also does not happen for any of the other LAX STARS. Sitting at the ground at KDFW I enter all the info into the FMC. Then I enter the KDFW SID no problem. When I try to Enter the SEAVU2 STAR I will hit SEAVU2 then ILS 25L then Trans, etc. The Execute button will Light up but it won't execute. If you continue fiddling with it like pressing SEAVU2 again then FSX crashes. Normally if this was working right when you hit SEAVU2 from the list it will show up at the top and then you select the runway, trans etc. I have flown all over the world to at least 200 different airports in th…

So, It's really annoying when I am going to autoland the NGX, and I have to enter the waypoint to intercept the runway manually in the FMC everytime..and find it on the map. For example, most of the time, I use Simroutes.com to load the waypoints as a file and load the rte file. This is great, but it's not runway specific. So, the route from KSEA to PANC would be SEATL4 TOU J501 JOH YESKA3 But the waypoints for ILS runway 07L are SEATL4 TOU J501 JOH YESKA SIBBS PANC The only way I can find "SIBBS and PANC" is by spotting it on the MAP, and then entering it manually into the FMC.... Where can I get these waypoints before I start my flight? …

Hello- I notice right around 300 KTs, my 737 800/900 models shutter rapidly. I do have EZ DOK cam at this time, though when I switch views to the exterior I can confirm that the model is shaking around as well. Any ideas where I should start T/S? Also enabled: Accufeel REX ESS + OD thanks! Nate

After a reïnstall of the NGX I can't get the VC back to its original resolution. The panels are a bit blurry. I have all three high-resolution buttons enabled in the performance manager. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance. Gerben Heijkoop

I have just uploaded a Southwest Airlines "Florida One" livery for the PMDG 737-700 NGX WL to AVSIM and it is available at http://library.avsim...crp&DLID=172765. Additionally, I just uploaded a NEW version of the Southwest Airlines "California One" livery for the 737-800 NGX WL to AVSIM and it should be available shortly. This version completely replaces the version I released on 20 Oct 2012. If you downloaded the original California One, please replace it with this one.

Just occationally I get really bad control on final approach, but not all the time. I really try and turn the yoke and the NGX yaws about and doesn't turn very quickly. Almost a 20 deg yaw. Just seems that the controls are unresponsive or very late in working. Is this possibly icing or wake turbulance? Is it part of the simulation? I do use Active sky 2012. Or am I just not turning it aggressively enough? The other night when this happened on final approach the OAT was 9C with heavy rain and cloud, the wind was slightly from the left @ 6KTS. I have mastered most area's of this brilliant aircraft, but for the life of me can't figure out how to set up a waypoint on the extended runway centre line of say 12 miles. Any help appreciated. Glen

I allways thought I had dl'ed and installed SP1c but I read some posts here about the color of the digits on the MCP and radio, the color giving the version away. I have blue/white digits on my MCP and red on my radio? Does that tell some of you anything about my version? Yeah, I know, I could just install it but my rig is working so well now and I will not mess with it if I dont "have to". Thanks for any advice, Morten Steen

Hello all, Ever since I've used EZdok with the NGX (which is awesome) the camera view for the PIC is not in the correct position and makes the HUD display itself get cut off when in certain modes. I've tried editing the camera within FSX but when I do it only jumps around, not moves smoothly, and doesn't help the problem. This is especially frustrating, especially when using AIII mode, that I cannot see the HGS and the information it provides. Currently my options are too much to the left, or too much to the right. I have a problem with cockpit sound of my B737ngx. The sound cockpit is simulated, but i can't hear the engines! i can hear the engines only if i turn the cockpit view back to the entry door of the cockpit. Can someone help me? Thanks a lot!

Hello, On my last few flights I have noticed that the compass appears to be "off" or "out of alignment". In other words, the compass sits sideways / off camber for the entire duration of the flight as if it has failed, is off, or has malfunctioned. The weird thing is that the compass still rotates and accurately indicates the current heading while in flight. I have checked in the FMC for any service failures and there are none active in any system. Any thoughts or ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you,

Has someone ever heard the wind shear warning message during an actual flight in the NGX? Is it even possible to simulate this in FSX or is the warning message included in the NGX just to simulate the real a/c? Main reason I'm asking is after all discussions about different wx engines in various other threads and considering the problem where FSX often very suddenly changes wind direction I thought wouldn't that trigger the wind shear warning message?

The problem is not with MSFSX – it’s the PMDG 737NGX program. I noticed with some of your NGX youtube videos that people have smoother views than the normal 3D cockpit. Is this an addon? Also there is head wobble which looks very good. I know there is Track IR but I need to check that the isn't anything better than the default? Even though the PMDG NGX 3d cockpit is the best ever. I find flying with the 3D view a bit disorientating. If you are trying to fly manually on your first leg of the flight and you need to tune the radio for example 'looking in', you might find that you have lost 300f quite quickly? I would like to get track IR but I was wondering if there was any add-on to make looking around a bit easier?

Hello everyone, I have been thoroughly enjoying the 747 NGX for the past week or so, but just this evening on a flight between Aldergrove and Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées airport I started to experience a hitherto unobserved panel freeze. I was at FL330 and noticed that my FMC was suggesting an optimal cruising altitude of FL350. I requested a 2000ft altitude increase from the FSX ATC, dialed FL350 into the MCP and hit ALT INV. FSX promptly froze. I had saved the flight shortly after the T/C, so I reloaded it and repeated this process, requesting the altitude increase, dialing it in and hitting ALT INV. Again, FSX froze. I am a little confused about this setting. Do we set the MCP speed based on V2 or V2 plus 20? It is my understanding the FD will pitch to v2 plus 20 either way? Thanks,
