Hey all, I am considering reinstall everything FSX based but given that I've had poor performance in the past I want to check what FPS this system will give me... core i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz 8GB ddr 3 ram @ 1333mhz GTX 660ti 2gb SSD Will I get good fps with fsx, fsx acceleration, ngx 737, rex, utx, gex and World of AI? I know some people push their 2500ks much further but to be honest I dont want to go any further than 4.2 as I prefer to know I'm 100% stable permanently. Will this upgrade offer very good performance? Thanks

Hi! Im really sad! I bought the 737NGX and I'm not enjoying it! because almost everytime i crash the airplane in the sim or switch airport my FSX crashes! And this just happening when i use the 737NGX, And sometimes even the Scenery glitch and the texture looks weird, And the sky looks strange! Hi all, Just tried a flight in the NGX, and am having a couple problems, one being a game-breaker I had to give up on before pre-flight was finished due to annoyance... Firstly... I recently had to buy a new monitor to replace my old, dead one. Upgraded in the process from a 21" 4:3 LCD (dead) to a 27" 16:9 1080p LED. Everything reconfigured fine. However, in the NGX, the panels appear very pixelated. The 2D panel quite so; the VC panel (not the gauges) not so much, but the MFD/PFD/etc screens on the VC are just as pixelated as the entire 2D panel. The scenery out the window is perfect. WideViewAspect is True in FSX.cfg, and using the widescreen panel.cf…

I'm having a problem with my 737NGX HGS, as it's gone blank. I went to http://forum.avsim.net/topic/351105-ngx-hgs-not-working/ and was shocked to see the responses over there to this guy's question about the same thing. A lot of users here should stand back and take a look at their posts - I sat on this one for two hours before opening my mouth because I don't want to be like the undercurrent of "everyone here but me is stupid" feel that the AVSIM forums have to them. Hey guys First time posting on the forum, but here In Australia ATM is the wet season so lots of rain, I fly with the real world weather on so I'm flying through a lot of rain. It looks really odd when flying through heavy rain, having the wipers on (trying to be professional and all) and at the same time there is no rain affect on the windscreen ! I was just curious if anyone knows a rain effect add on for the the pmdg 737 ngs ngx in FSx? Cheers

Having a bit of issues loading the NGX. Using a single monitor, and TrackIR 5, my NGX often loads "jumbled up", with me staring down at the radome, a section of fuselage sideways right behind the radome, and can't see anything else. Changing views inside doesn't help, but all external views are OK. I'm starting up the sim in 2D cockpit mode. Not pushing any buttons or moving the mouse during acft initialization. Did a search on various texture issues on this forum, and after various 30-page deep searches, gave up. Any help would be appreciated. Kev

Hi All Am new on here but have been flying the 737NGX for a while, and want to add a bit more ease of use to my simming by making an overhead panel out of 1 or more additional keybaords and assign the keys to the relevant commands on the NGX. I have seen there is a built in key-command editor on the aircraft itself on the FMC which has a limited amount of choices, especially for the overhead. I have been reading about LINDA (which as far as I can see is not made for keyboards, only joysticks), and FSUIPC which does what I need, but not sure on the limitations, so I am asking you good people if you know. I'm new to this forum! today i reinstalled service pack 1c and once that finished i open FSX then chose the Qantas PMDG737ngx and i went to the FMC and change some settings E.G fuel was on KG i changed it to LBS and then i exited FSX then opened it back up again and then picked the same aircraft then i saw the fuel was in KGS again so i tried it again and it was KGS again. SO i renstalled PMDG737NGX then did it again and still was on KGS it didnt change to LBS. can someone please help me with is i would appreciate it! Thank you! Regards, Anthony

I recently moved FSX from the programx86 directory to its own directory, everything went fine and ive been runing flawlessly since. However, my first wrinkle seems to have popped up. When I open the livery manager now it goes to the old programx86 location for the root directory. I figured this wasnt an issue and guided the applet to the new location of c:/FSX/MicrosoftSimulator, but try as I may the livery mangager will not identify my variations of 737ngx. I hope its a simple fix that im just missing, something short of a reinstall. Any ideas? Thanks in addvance

Been flying the NGX for a while and generally speaking it's working very well. There is one thing though that I have not been able to figure out yet. Here is an example. Cruising along with LNAV-VNAV engaged, at some point start the descent by using VS and so far so good. Suddenly Controller gives me an altitude and speed restriction which necessitates I disengage Autothrottle. Later I no longer require manual throttle control and want Autothrottle to become active and control speed, so I turn on Autothrotlle but it doesn't seem to be able to control the speed set in the MCP even though I'm flying level with AP on, LNAV on. Hi all. I am thinking of making the purchase of the GO Flight GF-TQ6-ADV Throttle. http://www.goflighti...ttle-quadrant-2 Seems like it is on sale right now, over $100 under the normal price. I can't find any reviews on it anywhere online. Anyone here have it? Heard anything about it? I plan on using it for the NGX of course but also any of my any jets such as the 744 and MD-11. I am just trying to get a feel to its overall quality and if it is simple to set up in FSX. Right now I use an old Satiek X45 Throttle which is nice because it is big and has a decent about of friction but It sure would be nice to have spoiler and flap levers along with reverse thrust. Hi I am trying to re-install the PMDN 600/700 expansion pack. But it is asking for PMDG 737NGX Version 1.00.3116 or later. I looked on the web site in the downloads section but I can only see the 737 -800/900 (NGX Base Package SP1c update)? I have had the NGX installed since it came out? And am now finding it hard to follow the histoy behing the installs? Where is the file for PMDG 737NGX Version 1.00.3116 ?? Is there a single build of the base package? I've been trolling about Europe with my shiny 737NGX - This aircraft is so good it should be bad for you. I love the simulation, and was one of the first PMDG 737NG (FS2004) owners when it came out as well. Using the Delta (Ribbons) livery, I've had repeated issues with deceleration on descent, autopilot disconnects, and other strange little weird issues with the A/P and the flight mechanics.
