Hi guys , first of all let me tell you how great is to fly and learn pmdg products . I have js 4100, 747 and now 737 ngx . The learning curve to details can take some times , but I had flown extensive hours with 747 it does makes much easier . My question is to cmd mode and use of colum correction to temp. Overide cmd without disconecting CMD comand . Example in 747 I have set in pmdg menu ability to overide cmd then when pressure from colum is release Cmd will come back to previous patch . However I can't find same option in 737 ngx 800 only cws . Basically I have to dis. AP to manualy flight then reangage again . I think I am missing something or just skip some pays in …

It's been a while since the NGX was installed in my system. All was nice and dandy and FSX worked fine (with the help of FSPS extreme FSX PC) for a long period of time. No hiccups really. Recently I made a purchase of a new A/C addon (I will avoid identifying it…since I am really ###### about this recent purchase and consider it an "out of the window" money) and installed it on the machine. It gave me several crashes of FSX clearly tied to that addon. As a result I am experiencing today problems with the NGX which are as follows: The PMDG menu disappeared. Anyone know why this happens and has a fix? after engine start the throttles show about 18%, N1 when I advance throttles to taxi and the aircraft starts to move bringing throttle back to idle, and applying parking brake has no immediate effect aircraft continues moving forward for approx, 50 metres, and then stops even through the throttle is fully retarded. When I turn onto the runway and apply throttles and TOGA no problem, N1% increase and V1, VR. V2. are reached with no problem if I have to abort anything above 60 knots, I will run out of runway at Heathrow before it stops. I'm interested in doing a few flights into NZQN and would like to know if there's a copy of the FMS navdata files available somewhere that would work with the latest AIRAC cycle? This would include the VOR/DME A, B, C and RNP approaches. There used to be some available a while back but don't know if they're still around or if they would still work.

I use ch pedals, but when I set the brake it just keeps poping out so I have to lay my heals on the brakes while at the gate....any help

Dear PMDG, I've installed FSX on a Windows 8 Pro x64 clean installation. Initially I had some troubles (sporadic sys errors) with FSX. I solved everything uninstalling and re-installing FSX, following carefully this sequence: install FSX (Deluxe Edition), run FSX and load a flight (don't save), close FSX, restart system, install FSX-SP1, run FSX and load a flight (don't save), close FSX, install FSX-SP2, run FSX and load a flight (don't save), close FSX, restart system, run (manually) windows update, run / configure FSX settings. All of a sudden, my FMC has stopped telling me when to RESET MCP ALTITUDE. So now I have to rely on sitting next to the computer for hours on end waiting for me to get to T/D. Could someone please diagnose the issue/tell me any repairs possible?

I have been flying the 737 NGX for a few months and have picked up a lot of information from various YouTube videos, is there a “correct" sequence for the overhead panel set up when going from ground power to APU and then from APU to engine start. The problem I have hit is sometimes – after I have started the APU – I disconnect ground power and find that I have no power coming from the APU, even though before I disconnect I check the amps etc in the overhead panel (usually shows 400 coming from the APU. I remember someone saying if you are getting your sound breaking up every few secounds you should check thw sound settings and set it to either mono or stereo. But when I go to the settings I dont see that anywhere. Im using logitec headset with no external speakes.. Can someone help me out? Dan Thompson

Hello guys! As you may have noticed, we've been discussing lately about those RNP procedures and the limitation of the NGX on creating it. You just can't create RF, TF segments. These are becoming more and more common IFR app. nowadays, and in my opinion it will take the majority of charts in a near future. Hi everybody, Went on to PMDG 737 ngx few weeks ago. Very pleased by the overall behavior of this airplane, just two concerns experienced : -During FMC setup, z time entered which becomes erratic upon completion and engines start up process, either wrong fixed time and/or flickering at 3 different values resulting in unreliable ETA at each waypoint displayed on the ND. - In spite of top components on my computer, all flights beyond 4 hrs are subject to fatal error of FSX after runway vacating as you go to other panel (s) to set landing lights, APU start, strobe lights, etc. and as per FCOM requirements. Keeping usual VC up to the gate becomes trouble free. …

OK, I hate to admit this, but I cannot seem to get the Mkr Beacon audio to come on. Visual depiction on the PFD works fine. I purchased this download when it first came out, and after reading the manual, I got them to work at that time. Then, I must have done something to turn them off. A couple of weeks ago, I tried clicking the button on both radios and they worked. Today, I just flew an approach and I was back to the OM and MM displaying on the PFD and no audio. I must be missing a switch some where. Any suggestions are appreciated. Mike Nicholson

In the VC, when you click on the MIP Displays they pop-up as panels. Is there a way I can assign these displays as 3 panels in the panel.cfg so I can open them witha Shift+# keystroke? I see the Lower DU is set as a panel.cfg panel by default, but what about the other three? Thanks! Shaun

Hello Everone This one has me baffled. After several years the throttles on my Saitek Pro Flight yoke system failed and I have recently replaced it with the Saitek Cessna yoke and throttle. The problem is that after setting it all up and everything appearing to be working fine in almost all my add on a/c, if I touch the throttles on the NGX while the autothrottle is engaged it varies the engine output momentarily even though I have the settings through the FMC so that touching the throttles should never override the autothrottle setting. Has anyone seen this before and any idea how i can fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Tim Carter

Hello Everyone, GOt a question for you all. I have had my NGX now for about a 2months and I am still learning all the little ins and outs of it. My questions deals with the short turnaround panel state. Does anyone have a checklist for the actions that need to be done to get this plane ready to fly from this state. I thought I could improvise from the tutorials what needed to be done and have had mixed results i.e. (one engine wouldn't start and another the throttles would move but the engines stayed at idle). I start sim with default trike friday harbor. I then load PMDG Tutorial 2 cold and dark. I let systems load, then move to O'Hare. after a couple about 30 seconds I start to see what looks like spikes on the scenary horizon then after about another the 30 seconds sym crashes to a blue screen. Same happens if I load NXG from free flight Only happens with PMDG 737NXG loaded (all 4 variants) Any ideas?

Greetings, I cannot seem to find a post among the thousands here for this, so.. While operating the NGX the FS program always stops about every 5 +- minutes to load up. Sometimes for up to 20 secs. Now I have all the payware A/C out there, it seems, plus all the payware scenery available. My system can handle all of it with plenty to spare. Not matter how I configure FSX for any kind of performance the PMDG 737 NGX will hang up like I said. This is the only aircraft which does this. It is loading up data, I know.
