PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Buttons are responsive. They will change in virtual cockpit but not on 2D. The screens are blank and do not work. Any suggestions? Also when using a multiplayer chat window, If I need to find a METAR, I have to type "!q then the ICAO, e.g !q EGBB"... When typing this in the window, only in the PMDG will it not allow me to typr the letter "G" as it operates the landing gear

Okay, I searched the forums and heard very different reviews on whether the 737NGX ran better than the 747-400. I have 2GB of RAM and a Duo-Core 2.3ghZ processor. If I get 10-15 FPS in busy airports with the NGX, will I be okay if I get the 747-400? Overall my major question is does the 747-400 perform worse or better than the NGX?

Ok can any one explain this Please LOC is captures so i hit APP and every thing is ok when i attempt to do the Auto-land by Hitting the Second Autopilot ( B ) the back wheels of the Aircraft touches the RWY and then out of no ware Full Power and it's Air born this only happens when i hit the Autopilot ( B ) and i can see that the roll-out mode is activated how to fix this and what am i doing for the Aircraft to Act Like this ?? thank you

Well, I have a rather simple question for all the repainter folks. I downloaded a nice repaint for the NGX which features clean wing txtures with no dirt but I prefer the dirty ones and would like to manually change them. Which texture in the repaint texture folder do I have to replace to get the dirty ones? Thanks in advance!

Had 737NGX working great and then went for "Bojote's tweaking and tuning" from www.venetubo.com. Saved my original fsx.cfg, didn't like the new fsx.cfg this website created, and then went back to my original fsx,cfg. Now when I load the 737NGX I get these blurries on the panels from the image I attached. It is happening in all my aircraft panels. What is the problem and how can I correct it? Thanks!!!

Hi there... I'm having a few problems... The main display (Shift + 1) is interactive but no PFD, Engine display, captions etc, I click to change something and it changes it within the virtual cockpit but not on this display Following the tutorial, I have got to the the point of taxi and notice an incredible flaw... Indications for engines are fine, but theres one problem. I add thrust but only engine 2 reacts. There are no changes in N1, EGT indications or anything for engine one, they just remain at start-up indications. 20% and no movement. I had flown my 737NG several times, using the engnine running from start. Decided to setup 737NG for my first cold/dark. Got AP running, started Eng 1 with no problems, started Eng 2 with no problems. After cleaning up the overhead panel and beginning taxi, noticed that Eng 1 would not advance with the throttle. I shutdown and restarted Eng 1 several times with same results. Also checked my Flight Controls to assure that my Saitek system was still setup to operate both throttles with the single control lever. No problems noticed. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to diagnosis this issue?

For a good while now I have been using FlightAware's track and graph to control my climb and descent for my Southwest Flights. Here's a graph I used for my STL-MCO flight that I used in recreating my cousins flight. http://flightaware.c...L/KMCO/tracklog Just a couples questions that I haven't been able to find. 1. How does FlightAware determine the rate listed in the graph? Would it be more on point to just climb at the difference between the two altitude each minute apart or to use the rates that the graph gives? So 5000 and 1 minute later is at 7500 would give me a climb rate of 2500 fpm VS if it said that at 5000 the rate was 1800fpm and at 7500 it goes to 2900.…

Sorry to bring up ghosts, but there are no sounds in the PMDG: no switches making noise, no APU startup, no TCAS alerts, no callouts, nothing. I looked into the sound files, but they are in .wav format, but there are no sound player through windows media player. Out side of the engine noise, its like flying deaf!!! I also set the sound configuration in both the FSX settings and the FMC settings, but there is still no sounds being played. Do anyone have the answer to this?? I notice another post concerning the same thing, but there were no solutions to the problem.

Short about my plan: I have one PC with i7 3,4 Ghz, GeForce GTX 680, 8 Gb Ram and I planned connect to it 3 monitors for viewing landscape out of cockpit (tripplehead), 2 monitors for pfd/nd (pilot and f/o each one) and 2 iPads for the center up and down screens (using Airdisplay). OK: Time to learn and fess up about the dumb mistakes I made while flying the 737NGX. What other mistakes you have made repeatedly? 1. When on Autothrottles, I sometimes tune in the ILS by adjsuting the speed knob, thus getting theplane to almost stall. 2. I have killed my passangers many times by not setting the cruising altitude on the pressurization system 3. When flying light, I will zip past 250 kts below 10,000 ft 4. When descending (even at 1500 fps) I still over speed the plane (knowing the 737 is very slippery) 5. Forget to put gear up on missed approach 6. I wonder about one thing. Supposedly V1 is the speed at which you are dedicated to taking off. In order to know where this point accurs, one needs to know the length of the runway. I guess this lies within the FMC database as it's not fed to the system in any other way. For fun I just attempted to reject a number of takeoffs above V1 speed with wet runways and in all occasions I stop with quite some runway to spare. Don't know how well this part is modeled by PMDG. Or maybe this is the way it should be?

I am having trouble adding PMDG 737 NGX. I currently have FSX Gold Edition with FSX Acceleration installed on my Windows Vista PC. I keep getting an error message saying: Unable to locate fsx.exe. Hello After the Installation of the Programm the popup starts to activate. After the Activation there was the following new popup: Error: flxActCommonRepairLocalTrustedStorage -(50044,71013,8) After this the FSX ends automatically. Evening guys I have started to encounter problems with my PMDG 737. In flight the plane stops for 5/6 seconds then the blue circle starts (as if the system was going to crash) then comes back to "life" I have re-installed the PMDG however still having the same problems. I have tried alternative aircraft both default and add-on and they perform ok. I am now really stuck as I do not believe re-installing FSX will make any difference. FYI currently running Windows 7 with a brand new Nvidea GTX 460. Any help would be appreciated Marshall Priceman

Can anyone tell me how low the oil quantity needs to become before I get some kind of warning or active failure? I am using the B737-800 wl models with "Low oil qty reverse" selected and fail-op engine autoland setup (wouldn't think that mattered). I am using quarts instead of percentages and currently have 14 quarts in the left and only 6 quarts in the right with no visible or audible warnings! In RW I would never takeoff if more than 2 quarts low on either side. How is this to be serviced in the NGX? A full service maintenance is the only selection I can find and that would initialize the maintenance failure clock, wouldn't it? I can find nothing of merit men…
