PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

When setting up a flightplan in the FMC, I try and enter the corresponding waypoint with the jetway and it gives me an error when entering the Jetway. I checked the Nav data and the jetway matches up with waypoints I'm trying to put it. I tried multiple routes all over north america and it seems to be the FMC's doing. Any info on what this might be?

I recently had to do a complete reinstall of everything due to a hard drive problem and I have had this lingering problem since. Before a flight, I will set up the panel to what I want it to look like (Collins MCP, HGS installed, single cue flight director, etc). The next flight, I have to reset everything up again because it resorts to the default. I know that it woud save before I had to reinstall. Any help would be great. Mark Barnette

I finally manged to use FMC with the help of FSBUILD..Really happy about that. The only problem to resolve now is the Joystick for the FMX to work I have to disengage the joystick because as soon as I activate it with a little touch it causer the Auto Pilot to disengage. I have the Logitech force 3D stelios .

Hi all I'm new here and also in the FSX world since november 2012. I just love it and now I found out about the PMDG 737 NGX add-on. On my research I have found many positive reactions that this is an awsome add-on. Before I purchase this add-on I would like to now if the PMDG 737 NGX is fully compatibel on OS Windows 8 ? I just bought my a new desktop but it has Windows 8 pre-installed. I have generated an PMDG Flight plan using SimRoutes and Route Finder (put it in the correct PMDG Route directory) and went into CO RTE and it shows there, but when I activate it, the dotted pink line never changes to solid. where do I go wrong? stelios

I am new to 737NGX but I am having a problem in VC mode. I find the labels all the panels very hard to read. I have been using the PMDG 747 for some time and I find that is really clear. In the 737 I have to go to 2D to read most of the panels. Any idea's

Hey guys, Lately I have been flying lots of the same route like Brisbane to Sydney. Sydney back to brisbane, Brisbane to Melbourne, Melbourne to Brisbane etc. I know about the company route. But every time I put my route/ waypoints for the flight ( with out the Sid and star and runways ) and I say save route. The execute button lights up, but I'm not able to execute it. Like im pressing execute but the button just sits there and laughs at me, The execute button just stays lit up until I press erase. Hi, i was wondering what it takes to make it possible to undock PFD,ND and upper EICAS screen on monitors of there own. Today i have VRinsight CDUII and a third monitor on my HD5870 std card but its not possible to add more screen to this card. Anyone who has a single PC setup for NGX with this mini cockpit setup with more than 3 screens?I do not see any framehit moving the PFD to my third screen so it could be a nice solution. I do want to make it a easy setup with CP Flights MCP,EFIS and the radiostack with just these screens build in to my dekstop . Next in 2014 i am dreaming of a throttle to match. Thanks Michael

I'm ready for the second tutorial and I see I need to download and install, unzip, etc. SP1c. I'd also like to install some liveries. I've printed PMDGs "How to install liveries" page but I don't know have a clue how to make, folders, sub-folders, putting downloaded items into folders, unzipping.....in other words, I can understand the aircraft procedures,(I'm a licensed pilot) but doing all these computer gyrations in order to make the program work (not the airplane) is above my pay grade. Any help?

Hello. I am brand new to PMDG and fairly new to piloting as well so bear with me. I have been experiencing 2 problems so I will post 2 Threads and use this as the header to both with the links to each other below. Other issue: Tail Number Not Changing I have been try to fly entirely by hand. No automatics or FMC. I am not sure if this is possible or supposed to be done. Hello Everyone, I sent a support Ticket some time ago on this subject and the reply related to a bug in FSX (which I am not disputing) but I wondered if in the meantime someone had the same problem and managed to overcome this. I find on landing the 737 that the tyre friction smoke is alread on the runway and coming up to meet the tyres and on occasions there is a smoke trail from the tyres during the runway takeoff, I have the brakes off. Hi all, Anyone use the Saitek multi-pane with this plane? Specifically using the MCp autopilot and ILS features. There does not seem to be enough buttons on the unit to actually control the MCP like the CMD A + B?

Sometimes you would like to fly the first turn of that SID ,(hand fly with that thing that cost $160) , but sometimes it is easier to go on A/P, than look down on the radio stack (in the VC) when ATC give you a hand off. Even if you have the frequency on standby, you get dizzy, when switching freq. I would really like to get a Saitek radio stack, eventhough the virtual radio stack is there....I can't use it without getting very dizzy. The PMDG NGX virtual cockpit is the best, but unless you have got all the gear it is really hard to fly with. I need TrackIR. Due to some times very dodgy download speeds here in Australia, it is more practical for me, though a tad more expensive, to buy the boxed version of the 737NGX. I presume it was like the 747 box I purchased a few years ago, it comes with its own registration key? Do I need to apply the latest patches for it? Will it come with the tutorials or do I need to source them from PMDG? Looking at some posts in the past referring to boxed verse download versions, there seems to be a some difference of file setup, or maybe due to the installer? Regards

Other issue: Unrealistically violent nose up, roll, and Aircraft Overstress crash just after takeoff. When I change the registration number in the FSX config, nether the planes exterior(The one on the tail) or interior(The one on the main panel) numbers change. They remain there default values. The NGX does, however, create a saved state of the plane with the new number as the name. ----Michael T. Kloos

Hi When i change different options in the fmc it does not stay the next time I load fsx Ex. IRS alignment. I want it real time which it does if I change it right away and it stays that way until I reload fsx. Then it goes back to 30 sec. Alignment. It happens for all the options in the fmc. I just reformatted my computer redownloaded ngx 8-900 n 6-700 along with service pack c. I never had this problem before I reformatted my computer. Any help would be great

I have been flying the NGX for the past week or so, and am SO happy I bought the plane. My first flight was offline, and then decided to fly on VATSIM. When I tried to change the radios to talk to controllers, they changed in the plane, but not in Squawkbox. Are there any special settings I need to put in place? FSINN isn't an option, it doesn't play nice with my computer. I hope I'm not just being an idiot with the plane, thanks in advance!
