Hi there, I have been flying NGX for a few months now. This problem started happening recently whereby when I start my takeoff roll on the runway, I hear "beep beep beep" error sound indicating something serious is wrong or not configured in the aircraft. I haven't changed the way I configure the aircraft since day one and I don't know if there is anyway to know what's causing it. Any help is appreciated.

I have tried a lot to make changes in the Panel cfg file: panel_Wide.cfg that is found in Drive:\...\SimObjects\Arircrafts\PMDG... and nothing I change seems to make a diference when I load the plane. For example I tried also to delete, hide, all the bitmaps like: PMDG_NGX_Main_Wide.BMP and even when they are not in the folder I still see the panel in the simulation. I also tred to change the CDU gauge so that only the screen part would show up as a collegue from the Forum suggested but with no result: " To display the screen of the CDU, I modify the panel.cfg of the PMDG 737-800NGX WL in the section CDU left I put: gauge00 = PMDG_737NGX! Hi Everyone, First I do apologise if this has been discussed previously, but I cannot seem to find some direct answers regarding this beautiful aircraft. So please don't bash me! I fly the PMDG 737-800 NGX with FS2Crew sound on Vatsim. I have 3 questions: 1- When taxing from gate to runway or vice versa, I do have the charts, but it gets a bit unclear if you are on the default airport and at night, is there any add on that can help? Apart from buying airport add on, something that could say you enter the taxi ways and it kind of directs you like a GPS or something? What do you guys usually do, only printed charts? 2- Planning.. Whenever I fly the NG as a passenger, I notice how unstable it is during TOs and landings, but how stable it is during cruise, climb and decend. So, is it possible to have this king of behavior in the FSX? Because I see the NGX is too stable during TOs and landings. Or maybe it has more to do with wind/thermals not being realistically modeled in the FSX? Teo Halfen

Ok so when im on approach it always looks like im going way to fast once i get closer to the runway even though im using the approach speed that the fmc gives me. Which is usually like 150 (737-800). but my touchdown speed is lie 135 or even lower. What is a safe touchdown speed and how are you supposed to know what touchdown speed to use.

I had already successfully installed a number of liveries via the Livery Manager. For some reason they have disappeared. The house livery is the only remaining one for, e.g., the 800 winglet version. When I try to reinstall the liveries, using the LM, I get the same message for each one to the effect that this livery is already installed. THEY AREN'T! (sorry to shout). Any help would be much appreciated, please. (Vista 64) Yes, I have run the Livery Manager as administrator - to no avail. Jock

Just bought Navdatapro and updated PMDg 737 to the latest cycle. However in LEMG it shows runways 12,13,30,31. But in the EFB which also has the latest data it only has 32 and 14? Please help as I cannot takeoff atm :(

How can I load previously saved flight plans? For instance, I setup my FMC, RTE is fully populated, I hit save, CO route gets auto populated (KBOSKJFK) and the plan is saved. Next time, don't I just enter the same value into KBOSKJFK? When I do that, it says invalid entry.

I noticed the other day when flying my NGX that the compass in the front window said 208, the IRS said 205 and the DU said 203. Is this due to gyro drift? And is there anyway to reset the DU in the same way that you would reset the HSI or DG in a GA?

I have been watching FS2Crew videos for a while now, it's very impressive. The voice recognition is unbelievable and it looks like a new level for the FSX simulation. In fact, I almost bought it, but then suddenly it hit me. All these things that FS2Crew gives you, or in layman's terms, all the things F.O. does for you, are they really a good idea? I watched a 3x30 min tutorial of this addon and it seems like all captain is doing is talking. The "realism" of NGX to me is all the knobs and switches and what you have to do for every step in every check list and the combination of various failures. If the FO does all of that for you, then what's the point? Am I missing somet…

So when I want to start a flight with the PMDG 737, it ask my to activate the product but I already did it ! 2 hours ago I was flying the PMDG without problem and now they ask my to re-activate it ! So I put my serial code into the little box and I have this error : "ERROR: flxActCommonRepairLocalTrustedStorage - (50044,71013,1). What do I need to do to fix it ?

Sometimes whille starting to intercept the LOC. I notice no arrow then look at my display which now says Im on a backcoarse. This happened in Daytona Beach KDAB I was landing on 25R loc frq 109.7 took right from the approach plate. This happened before at KRIC Rny 34. But on the richmond flight I did it again and there was no B/CS the 2nd time everything went fine. Any clues? Dan Thompson

On descent a few days ago, I encountered this ; The A/T was intentionally applying Asymmetrical Thrust. This never happened to me before, and I don't think it is part of Normal Operations. I find it interesting, any ideas as to why this may happen under normal conditions? Thanks! Learning day by day about his bird. If I remember correctly, there was perpendicular wind flow to my direction of travel, but shouldn't yaw input occur before any changes in thrust symmetry? If any of you get chance, have a go at flying the SUGOL 2A RNAV transition to Amsterdam Schiphol's runway 06. It's a real joy to fly, as though it were designed specifically for the 738. This is a continuous descent approach and provided you follow the constraints, you'll only get engine spool up when you select gear down, flap 15. :smile:

Hi guys slowly but surely I am beginning to understand the complex parameters in flying this wonderful 737 NGX plane. I just have one simple question. After programming the FMC with a flight plan, when I am in the legs section I see on my left one way point in magenta color and on the right one altitude display also in magenta color My question is, when I see this magenta altitude number, must I start climb/descent at the indication displayed in magenta color? stelios

In the B-737 tutorial 1 ( Flight from Gatwick to Amsterdam ) there is a note to insert the CrzAlt ( 25000 feet ) and the Landing altitude (0) into the Pressurization Controller. ( Overhead Setup ) Unfortunately I cannot see something called "Pressurization Controller" on the overhead panel as the graphic is rather poor. Can anybody tell me where it is,possibly with a screen shot.Are there knobs to insert the two values ? Or can it be done by the CDU ? Thanks Hubert Werni

I updated the fmc from navagraph. It was the latest 2013 update. When I bring up the FMC it indeed shows the update but down below it says its not up to date. Is the somewhere I can change the date in the config. to correct this? I get no help from navgraph. #2 I still cant figure out how to enter an airway ie J41 or J55 what ever. I can enter waypoints along the airway that work fine but on long flights Id like to be able to insert just the airway. What am I missing here. Thanks. Dan Thompson

I surely hope this isn't against the rules, if it is just say so. But somehow, my Livery Manager.exe file got corruped somehow. Just the Livery Manager .EXE. (C://Program filesX(86)/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator X/PMDG/Livery Manager) It won't open at all. Can somebody PM me their livery manager .exe? I'll be your BFF! Lol thanks.

Hi All and a Happy New Year. First post for 2013. Yesterday I tried a flight from Redcliffe ( YRED ), Queensland down to YMLT in Tasmania. When I tried to program in YRED the FMC came back saying Not in Database . So is the Database set up for only airports that the 737 can be flown from. When I Googled Redcliff and had a look at one of the websites (Flightstats I believe) about Redcliffe, it looked like big jets flew from there. I think that must be a generic picture for the website. Looking further I found you can only run aircraft up to 5700kg so that counts out the 737. I have probably answered my own question. Only applicable airports are in the Database. True or F…
