PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

For the 737NGX and de JS4100 I use the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and two Saitek throttle quadrants. I use a number of the switches on the throttle quadrants for the landings-, taxi- and strobe-lights. Moving the switch up, light goes on, moving the switch down, the light goes off. This works perfect for the JS4100. But I don't know how to do this on the 737NGX. In the FMC I saw under External Light only the possibility to toggle the lights. For instance Ctrl + L toggles the landings lights on/off. So moving up light on , moving up again lights off. Also FSUIPC give me no solution. Is there a possibility to switch the lights as I described for the JS4100?? Werner Ver…

Greetings. I'm trying to paint the 900NGX using the new version Paint Kit, but I'm still getting the white line. I wonder if that issue was resolved, since all posts I've found are from at least more than 180 days old. You can see the infamous white line on the attached pic. I've tried EVERYTHING. I use CS6, NVidia DDS pluggin, no mip maps, flatten master, flaten fuse psds, checked the edges at 800 % for any hint of line, both the texture and alpha channel layers, and nada. The worst thing is that I also see the line on the AA and Continental liveris I downloaded from PMDG. Any more ideas? Many thanks

Hi I just installed the PMDG 737NGX and when I tried to use the Company Route feature, it said: INVALID ENTRY. I'm sure I got the airport codes right (SYCJ is the departure and TTPP is the arrival airport) but I don't know what to do. Any Ideas? It also says NAV DATA OUT OF DATE. Thanx! Happy New Year!

Hi, In the 737NGX SP1c, with FMC U10.8A I am seeing behaviour that I don't believe is correct, regarding the speed commanded by the FD with an engine out. I also have a separate question regarding the behaviour of the autothrottle in this scenario. With VNAV and LNAV armed on the ground, I set the sim up to give me a V1 cut, roll, have the engine failure, get airborne and the FD commands V2 correctly (rather than V2+20 for an all-engines takeoff). Hi I am trying to sett a offset to a physical button at the Saitek throttlequadrant. The offset is: 6444 size is one Byte name is: FCTL_YawDamper_Sw and control value is Bool (true or false)! I have enable the data broadcast in the file: 737NGX_Options.ini This won´t work. Bellow is my steps: 1.) Start FSUIPC --> Button + Switches 2.) Press the button I like to link to the offset 3.) hi guys, I was looking for someone that would know what the first panal config options would of been for the first NGs too roll off the production floor back in 1997. I know boeing would of had different options but I guess Im looking for the different options for the time era. What would be really great is the years of what the different options came out that the NGX has from 1997 to 2012. Just installed on Win7 64 bit, GTX 650ti ,2G ram on video and 8G on pc. All of the interior and exterior textures are perfect. When I close up on th FMC, to program it, the keypad is unreadable. The display is crystal clear but the keypad seems to be blurred out. Does not matter if I zoom in or out, keypad is unreadleabe. Thought I would try here first before I send in a trouble ticket. I just received the 737 NGX and was so excited. However the first thing I tried to do did not work. I was in VC as suggested and clicked on top of the yoke but it did not move so I could not get access to the FMC. How do I get to the FMC in 2D? I am stuck in neutral and cannot get anything doen. Need help fast as I will run of fuel soon.

A couple of screen shots of a near miss at 36,000 over the UK. Interestingly I didn't get a traffic warning annunciation. The crossing aircraft was about 1000 above. Great repaint by Ricardo De Luca.

Does anyone know for certain if the landing behavior of the NGX different if crash detection is on or off? For example bounces, are they the same? I know what would have been a crash will just bounce if I descend REALLY fast, but what about normal bounces and other problematic landings is there any difference in how the NGX will behave in response to that setting? I've been toying with the idea of turning on crash detection again. I don't like ruining my taxi to the runway by hitting cones and things in the gates/parking areas though. Ideally I would like to turn it on from in-flight, but there is no option to alter realism once in the air so I guess it has to just be…

I have only just installed 737NGX. I have downloaded SP1 and saved it to my hard disk, there is nothing in the Readme about installing, should I extract all files or just press Run ? ( this is my first PDMG product so I don't want to mess up early on !!

Hi all, I noticed last night that the Legs Page>Route Data stopped accepting any further winds aloft data entries after about the half-way point of the trip. ie: I was able to enter winds data for each waypoint for the 1st half of the trip. The data fields for the remaining waypoints were ruled out on the CDU preventing me from entering all the rest? At first, I thought perhaps the data fields would become available as the journey progressed, but they didn't. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks & rgds, Steve

Hi. I would like to know if a bad snowing runway with brakeeff for instance is 0.68 would make any different to vapproch speeds and landing speeds at all? I dont see any on the page in the fmc as you do see.it on the takeoff page 2. Which gives you a slighter lower V1 off cause with wet or sloppy weather. Hi Guys, I went from a single monitor to triple monitor (nvidia surround) and since then, the HUD display is too big. It works good on a single 24" monitor...but on a widescreen triple monitor setup, the HUD Display is huge and bleeds over the physical HUD size. I can post a screen shot later this weekend when I get home. Is there a parameter I can adjust to reize the HUD display or something? Has anyone here got the nivdidia surround setup and got the HUD right? Manny

Hey guys, I'm still fairly new at programming an FMC but I think I'm getting the hang of it. My question is does anyone find themselves resetting the LNAV button on the MCP because the plane decided to make a right turn and go off course? It's starting to happen alot more often.

Hello All!! I am having an issue that its ONLY happening when installing the American Liverie for the 737-800NGX Listed on the Liveries Download Page. The issue is that when switching to that aircraft, PMDG is NOT doing the 20-sec initialize process and the panel looks like the attached file... I dont think is a System issue at all as this has been a fresh PMDG NGX Install on a very powerful system and, as I mentioned, it only happens when installing AA liveries... Tried the one listed on PMDG site as well as others on AVSIM..... Hi Each time I select the 700 or 600 NGX my FSX tells me the following: "Visual model could not be loaded" Then I am greeted with a fatal error! ^_^ This has been happening after I used the Flight1 Registry Fixer after the PMDG MD-11 was not aligning with the ILS properly. Funny thing is, the 800 and 900 load just fine... advice? Thanks EDIT: DISREGARD!! Reinstall of the 600/700 pack along with uiautomationcore.dll fixed it for me:)
