    hey guys firstly merry xmas, secondly, I recently have gone on holidays for 3 weeks, i got back at 9 this morning. i straight away went onto flight sim. I used the 737 800 ngx with gsx and also fs2crew. I flew from brisbane to sydney. On my approach into sydney, as soon as the opera house and all of the cbd came into sight, fsx started to lag abit and ezdok became really laggy on the movements. Then the 737 instruments froze and the instruments were stuck on 3500Ft and 180 knots, the fmc wouldnt budge it was just frozen. Then a message poped up and said fsx not resaponding and fsx closed and restarted. Before my holiday this never happened and i was running the exax…

    Hi I an running the 737 NGX on FSX with DX10 on a triple screen setup via the NVidia GTX 680 graphics card. Issues are: Hand click spot will increase knob settings with a mouse right click (menu appears - then click again to increase value) Hand click spot will not decrease values. (Mousewheel, left click or right click) With 3 monitors only the RH monitor wil allow click spots from mouse (middle and LH monitor will not accept mouse clicks) Out of memory errors every flight (16 Gb RAM - Win7-64 - Intel i7-3770K CPU @3.50 GHz - 240GB SSD - nVidia 4096Mb Graphics card. Assuming some sort of DX10 error I installed the 737 on P3D (DX9) but same issues persist. …

  5. On the DES FORECAST page there is the ability to enter airfield temp with respect to ISA. Is this temperature in relation to 15C, or corrected for altitude? For example; an airfield is at an altitude of 2,000ft above msl with a temperature of 10C. Is the correct temp to enter -5, or -1? Also, how is the planned engine anti ice level determined? Other than looking out the window I'm not sure how you'd judge it!

    Hey guys had a weird issue that has only just ever occurred today, never before seen it with the NGX... I am flying EGNX-LEAL... and carrying 9000kg of Fuel, and it says insufficient fuel, which isn't correct, this is enough fuel. And also now, it says that there is 8223nm to my top of descent, which is also incorrect. Everything is entered correctly with regards to the route... never seen this problem before. I've spoken to a couple of others who also are having this issue with the NGX. Any ideas as to what's happening guys? Thanks, Dan

    Dear Forum I am thinking of purchasing FS2CREW to run with 737 NGX. Can anyone tell me, if once installed you can still fly the aeroplane without the FS2CREW activated, in other words as normal? Reason I ask, is it will take a while to learn the whole procedures with FS2CREW, and sometimes you may just want to fly and go without going through rigorous precedures...if you get my meaning? Appreciate your help. Also, I tend to fly in Windows mode, so to access other software during flight (including using Squawkbox). Would it still be possible to do so using FS2CREW?     I just installed the COA repaint from the PMDG website using the Livery Manager and the pic below is what I get. I have tried removing and installing it several times. This is the only repaint it has happened to and the first time I have ever seen this. Just earlier this day I was using the SWA -700 repaint. I have owned the NGX since it came out. I have many liveries for, and own the, -600/700/800. I did install the COA WL to the proper WL version. Any ideas what is going on here?     Hi all, After weeks of frustration having built a new rig, I finally worked out what was causing my FSX to crash (antivirus) and the sim is now extremely smooth It's now time to stop tweaking and start enjoying this sim, but I need some help.. I want to learn the aircraft (and sim) inside out. I know basics about ILS etc, but only in broad theory (ILS = instrument landing system, intercept glideslope + localiser) etc. How would you go about mastering everything?   11. I chose to depart from Innsbruck but noticed that visibility is only 400 meters. Runway 26 goes off the list immediately because of the IMC and the initial departure procedure for runway 8 states that minimum of 4.8% climb gradient is required. I started wondering, is NG (particularly interested in -800) allowed to depart in such conditions? It's obvious that I can't land here in case of an engine failure during take off and I'd have to divert to Munich or Salzburg, but can I get out of the mountains with one engine in the first place in IMC?     EDIT And of course I found the answer myself right after posting it... IRS wasn't set up well... Since I've been using FS2Crew I get this every now and then: Don't know if this is due to FS2Crew (probably because I never had this when I did everything myself) but I thought someone here might now how to get the PFD and ND working properly by setting them up myself (if the PNF fails again ^_^ ).     Hello guys, first of all I´d like to say how awesome is the NGX! What a fantastic add-on! Today, flying from SBGL (Galeão Rio) to SPIM (Lima) i got my first failures, i believe. When passing through FL250 for my initial climb I got a master warning. When I looked on the overhead, i saw a "Auto Fail" message on the pressurization panel. Well, i descended to FL100 and didn´t know what to do. Where in the manuals should I look for to resolve this failure? QRH manual? Then I just follow the emergency checklist? Where do I see if I´m able to continue the flight to my final destination? Where do I look (which manual) for the Maximin Landing weight? I´m in doubt…

    This might be a wrong place to post but I am curios if there is any gauge or anything that can be added to pmdg aircraft or for that matter to any other that you could during long flights request weather report on destination airport. So for example u are taking off sfo to JFK and in 4 hours weather changes so you planned for one approach but weather changes and you need to choose different runway to land at etc it would be cool to punch in icao and get weather report and maybe landing runway etc. is there such gauge available, bit annoying to swap to desktop and get weather updates from web What do you guys do or use? HI, I don't know if this depends on the 737 or FSX itself or what, but in my home airport (Rome Ciampino - LIRA), 99% of the times it happens that on the approach, at about 1000-1200 ft agl, there is a point where the airplane experiences a small vibration and then the vertical speed suddenly goes from about -700 fpm to zero or even positive. Thus the airplane goes above the glideslope and it's not easy to recover the descent path. Even if the approach is flown by the autopilot this happens, V/S going to zero and the A/P must struggle in order to catch the glideslope back.     Approaching EHAM on a STAR flying online on VATSIM I was ATC'ed "DCT SPY after SOGUL". I entered SPY, wich is not in the STAR I was flying, I chose the correct SPY and LSK2'ed it under SOGUL in my legs page. I immidiately got the Program Pin Error and FSX frose. SB4 disconnected from VATSIM and I was done. My FSX is stable, never had a CTD or hang in NGX before in my 150-200 hours flying it. The flight was the second in a rotation so I had flown one leg of my rotation, refueled and started off to EHAM. The first flight was originally started from the short panel state.     Hi folks, While waiting for the 777 i'm flying the heck out of the NGX. There was a good thread about dangerous airports a while back. What I'm looking for is airports in the CONUS that are interesting (not necessarily dangerous) to fly in or out of, and that either take 737s or realistically could. I'm making and flying with my own photoscenery, so if it looks good in real life it should be good in sim. For example, tonight I've been flying into KPSP Palm Springs.     Hi, I am far from new to the NGX but trying to hand fly the SID's with only AT on more and more. When I try to hand fly a SID with hight restrictions and also below 250 speed. I level off and the CoP has set flap up speed etc, but as I level off the speed just keeps going up till I over speed. No AP on ofc just AT. I feel a n00b but I have to ask what am I doing wrong guys? Thanks.

    Anyone had this problem with AS 2012? I fly at FL370 with a 50 kt tailwind and every 10 or so seconds the plane pitches up and down a few degrees over and over again until it subsides.... Then again and again. It happens also every time i maximize the fsx window after minimizing it.
