Can anyone point me to the Flight support or official forum, as I'm having some problems . I tried the support area on the main Flight page with no luck as Flight is not a option in the "search for support for a particular game " search .

So, how many of you got it?I did......

Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, and perhaps it is just me and the Stearman I am flying at the moment.It appears to me, if I trim the pitch on the Stearman for level flight at full throttle, then invoke the "skip" to the next point function, I lose the trim I had put in, and have to trim it all over again...

I play a rc flight simulator called Phoenix RC. It has USB cable that plugs into my Spektrum DX6i radio controller so that I can play the game using a real radio transmitter.I was wondering if there was a way to make my DX6i with usb cable work in MS Flight. I want to be able to do at least the aileron, rudder, throttle, and elevator.

Hello fellow simmers,this is my first post on AVSIM, although I have been visiting the forums and the file library often since the release of FS2004. Like many flight simulation fans, I have hoped that the new release will bring something new to the flight simulation genre. I just want to start out with saying I like how Microsoft Flight looks and feels alot...I think the flight physics are way better then FSX...this simulator has alot of potential...it's just lacking key features now like VOR's working...or a flight planner etc...I think the high prices are turning a lot of people away from Microsoft Flight.....including me. $15 for one plane......that is steep, what if I want to buy 5 planes in the future?I could understand the $15 price tag if the whole world was available to fly in, or if there was a flight planner, or if radio navigation worked.....but $15 to fly on one little island is too much. Its working in my Saitek yoke , butIt moves just a tiny bit so need to press it many times to move some noticeable.Is there a cfg file where I can change it so it moves more every time I press the button?

I have downloaded the adventure pack but there is no obvous way of knowing if it is installed. I seem to have the new plane that comes with it but in terms of scenery it is not obvious to me that anything has changed. No new towns or airports. Can anyone tell me some way of knowing that the scenery is working. Can someone post a screen shot of a place that I can compare with to see if the scenery has installed.Peter Rowan

Totally useless topic, I know, but I see most people typing 'Flight' or 'MS Flight'. I never see 'MSF' which would seem logical considering we all call the other sim 'FSX'...? Any reason to NOT call it MFS? :wink:SHOOT! LOL! That should of course be MSF!!! :LMAO: :LMAO:

Was browsing through my liveries after unlocking one and noticed the requirements for the police one.."Complete mission: Clandestine Cargo"That's not an available mission. I have the Maule, Mustang, and full Hawaii pack.. Did MS insert a livery that requires a DLC not even available yet?

I am trying to unlock the black paint scheme for the Icon A5. The requirement states I need to "Complete all Flight Tips"Thats what has me confused, what exactly are these 'flight tips' I've completed all tutorial, challenge, and missions. But i havent seen a 'flight tip' anywhere.So what is it?Thanks

Tried out MS Flight and liked it enough to also get the Maule and Islands expansion. Anyway if there was a manual somewhere I would read it, but I can't seem to find one? 1- Is there a way to look up airport specs such as runway headings and altitudes while you are in flight doing a mission? I was flying some missions and had no idea what I was dealing with until I got to the actual airport.2- Is there a way to look up weather conditions at an airport prior to getting there?3- When looking from the Camera top down view, is there any way to orient it, so the the top is always north? 4- When I do some Aerocache hunting from the menu looking for specific ones it always start…

What is that thing? I nearly crapped my pants when I started playing this game. I don't know what it is, but I thought it was a cross between a plane and a car. (Don't diss me for not knowing what it is)For 100 years I've been starting out with the Cessna, so this was quite a shock. :)Seems like it's an end of an era for me. It was fun while it lasted.

I love flight am a ga flyer low and slow. Flight has stutters just as fsx has. No matter what settings in flight even on low for all settings, still have stutterings. Have tried all types of settings with inspector but nothing seems to help. Anyone and I hope Microsoft is monitoring this topic that can advise how to correct would be greatly appreciated.My system is very uptodate and I have tried frame limiters no limiters etc. My normal no limit fps in flight with all settings at maximum is excellent topping out at 107 with sky views and 70 flying over heavy scenery on any island with RV or A5 . So the RV-6 Landing Challenge #6 - ILS to probably below minimums :) - that was a fun ride. Somehow I got it down on the first try, but had to quit after that - it was ugly, white-knuckled, but very sweet. . .anyone else like that one?

It makes flying fun! Ok, it's not hardcore per say verses FSX, but you can fly stuff around, like a mini version of FSX Cargo. There is enough fun things to do making it a very enjoyable Sunday flying type sim. Though it lacks helicopters, as that would make it even .. funner, you can fly more chickens in a plane anyways. I will be flying FSX for years to come, but for the fun factor, Flight did a great job, and can easily become a hard core sim if the powers to be wish it. It is fun, looks great, has chickens, and a ton of potential to boot!

I'll start this off by saying I'm glad this thing was free. I wouldn't think of installing FSX on my system expecting decent result and that holds true for Flight. Performance first and foremost blew me away with Flight tonight. I'm an FS9 guy who can't think about touching FSX with my system yet Flight runs on my system with almost all full to the right settings and blows FS9's performance away. Flight looks like Orbix on my machine, superior to FSX, and runs smoother than FS9 (go figure). Hello everyone before i go on i would like to mention that this its just my view and that im open to any opinion that is not the same as mine as far as its kept in a nice and mature way without getting out of hand if you know what i mean .So what is my view of a arcade world or scenario if i was looking to get the casual game player attention? i would go on to create a world that does not exist a world thats only in my mind and does not simulate a single bit of realisim , ill create a pretty island with not too much detail a fake runway with a fake airplane model that does not exist and ill make no effort at all to make sure this plane flights in a realistic way at all b…

Having some serious problems here. When I first fired up Flight and tried to do the balloon thing I found it difficult because of the over-sensitivity of the controls. I use a CH yoke, pedals, and throttle. Anyhow, I tried to set the axis in the options menu. Don't know I did, but now the plane is completely uncontrollable. It banks sharply to the right and nose dives straight into the ground. I had previously posted that I was having problems calibrating the controls. Should have said setting the axis instead. So I uninstalled Flight and reinstalled it. Several times. Still have the same problem.Have tried to set the axis again but no matter what I do I get the sam…

Looks like MS missed the boat on this again, seeing how its such a limited game and limited weather engine it would have been nice to see some good effects on the windshield, what could possibly be the excuse this time, I mean Flight's engine is so much better then fsx.

What are the "gold awards" that everyone keeps talking about? Is it the little triangle icons when you review previous challenges?

On an AMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0GHz with two 22" screens..Rwy 3 at Hilo:I think the autogen in FSX is superior to Flight and there is little difference in fps, FSX 21, Flight 24.Time is August 5th at 12:53.

I am having a big problem deciding if I should get the Maule or not. The problems is twofold:1. I don't like taildraggers (I suck at landing them) but I would love to do some jobs. Almost ALL jobs are for the Maule...!2. I don't know (no one knows) when the next DLC will arrive. If I would know for certain the next batch of DLC would come in one or two weeks, I would forget about the Maule and wait. However, if the next DLC will take months, I would buy the Maule right away...I guess MS doesn't tell us about what kind of DLC is coming and when because they want us to buy everything and not wait for the next DLC... But this also works the other way around, obviously...
