I have flown several missions and suddenly evey time I try to fly now I am stuck in fly by view. I have tried everything I know and can not get out of thie view. My f8 through f12 keys seem non funtional now. I even reloaded the game and still have problem. Please help, i like what I see so far in the game...Thanks

I finally found something that I'm not "happy" with. Apparently DLC is only usable by one person on the computer. The DLC is only available to the gamertag it was downloaded by. If you have someone else, in my case my son, who wants to develop his own stats, you have to pay and download it a second time.Matt

Would like to be able to calibrate the yoke better.40 inch screen is brilliant, the big screen really showed up fsx's engine issues. Autogen looks far more convincing. I tried flight on a normal monitor initially, fsx and flight look closer quality-wise on this. But fire up the lcd tv and the autogen down low really shines.Goflight modules - no functionality yet, but am going to start mapping functions with gfkeys today. I'm quite sure there was a Beta testing phase to this development. However, I have no idea what kind of machines they tested this "thing" on. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.I can tell you that the program crashed right out of the box. I downloaded the software and the installer executed. When asked, I clicked the box to run it now, and guess what - the screen turned black and that is ALL I got.Man, what a joke.fb

The jobs disappear from the jobboard once they are started. Even if you didn`t complete the mission.There should be a way to repeat them like the missions.Anyone know?

I am having some serious fun here!Ok so I completed the first two missions, now I am on the map, and I chose the mission where you collect the 25 coins in a specified time. I keep restarting the mission as I want to keep trying till I can get all 25. I had crashed, and apparently exited out, now I do not have that mission option, the next it shows is the introduction to the Stearman.Am I out of luck now on being able to do that mission, or is there someway to get it back? I was determined to get all 25 coins, now I can't get back to it - augh!

Just bought a U3011 Dell 30'' monitor this week.Have all settings at max in Flight and im getting decent fps.Lowest fps around built up areas are 27-32,everywhere else about 45-60.Even when it drops to mid 20s I don't notice any stutters/screen tearing,still very smooth.Im only using a gtx 580 1.5gb gpu.Can't wait to upgrade to the gtx 680 2gb when released later this year.Can't believe how good gaming is at 2560x1600,will never go back to anything lower.Can other members post their performance with Flight @25600x1600?BTW FSX at this res is also fantastic looking with very little AA problems.Glad to see so many people enjoying Flight,interesing few months ahead.

Hi guysJust started to get into "flight" , therefore the jury is still out . I am trying to value you it on its own merits, not as a comparison with FSX.Fist major point is the ability to adjust the varous controller responses. I use a simple logitech joystick but the reaction from cotroller is so violent it makes it almost unflyable, some sort of contoll settings really do need to be done quickly as I am sure that any user without flightsim experience will be putoff immediatly. I did see the section in the write up, about adjusting the XML code. I am not a software person , these settings , null zones, elevator axis etc , needs to be done from the controller settings in…

It's been a few days since the release of MS Flight and I have read a few posts about how to get the best results with MS Flight and nVidia Inspector, but no definitive answers or settings... all the relevant topics end without a conclusion, probably because everyone is too busy flying...! Still, I'd like to see a topic dedicated to getting the best out of MSFlight with nVidia GPU's because right now I don't think I am getting the best out of my GTX580. So... anyone here who already has GREAT results with specific settings? No shimmering, no distant blurriness, etc? Please post! Preferably a screenshot of the relevant settings!

Apart from the obvious improved graphics etc. there are a few brand new options that I really like and that I wish FS would have had years ago!1. MSF remembers your position and status of the aircraft without having to save the game! Park the plane somewhere, make it cold and dark, get out and quit MSF. Come back the next day, press Fly and you are at the exact same spot, plane cold and dark! No need to save anything! LOVE IT!2. Cool checklists! Apart from being very complete (sim!) they are also clever: when something is in the right position, the list automatically advances to the next step. today not too long ago i went into a multiplayer session with 2 of my friends :mark he flights for UPS now and Jim he is also a UPS pilot .we desided to try and simulate a premature ATC scenario both of them were in the ground at hilo . each one on a diferent frequency so i was the only pilot up in the air mark was tower and Jim did the departure . I must say that been able to use voice on the comm frequencys its a niceeee new feature in flight .Now i want to join a few other pilots from here (avsim) and try a similar scenario that would be more realistic with more guys online .

Tom with all due respect, giving an opinion that a product does not live up to expectations should not be offensive to you or anyone else. After the downloading, I get this error -Failed to extract CAB C:\Documents and Settings\...\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\GFWLive\Downloads\4d5308d2e0000001.cab [Code:0x8007000d]I manually removed the C:\Documents and Settings\...\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\GFWLive folder. I did this so I could do a fresh install. Somehow, the Flight installer still thinks that folder exists and since it can't find the .cab file - it just fails. How do I tell Flight it's not installed? What's the Registry entry?Any clues?

Hi,There have been quite a few posts about control settings disappearing or not working the way they used to, even when the user has not knowingly changed anything.I have just had this happen again, but this time it was to my prop and mixture controls. After I initially set the game up, I allocated one controller button to increasing prop rpm and another button to decreasing it. At the time, I left the mixture on auto (as in the game managed it) so had no buttons allocated to that.This setup worked fine - just last night I was flying the RV6 and the prop control was working very nicely indeed - easy to control precisely with the two buttons.So today I unchecked the auto-m…

friends, I know there are various colours of this question around here but maybe we can have for those like me 1 post how to install the hawaii expansion pak? I bought. I downloaded it maybe 16 times. it says installed in the windows live marketplace. but it never shows up in flight?! whenever I click on the other island I am asked to redownload. which I then do/did couple of times. so how the *&§$ did you make flight recognize that the pak was indeed installed? and yes, I AM logged into live when flight is running.any help is appreciated. too bad that MS does not have a forum for support of flight, they seem to rely on avsim. their FAQ is not helpful here.thanksphil

I an running a ati 7950 with three screens, is there a way to have my guages on a seperate screen? much clipping with 5760x1080 btw. one screen 1920x1080- all max settings.. silky smooth.

Ok so I know have about an hour or so under my belt with flight. Got the graphics on highest setting, adjusted my Cougars null zone in the xml file to my liking, and am honestly having some good fun with it.Now understand, I love my FSX and will keep continuing to get many hours of enjoyment out of it, and undoubtedly more addons to come for it.But I also am really enjoying, well just the simplicity of flight. I can leave a couple of internet explorer windows open, couple of programs running, and just launch Flight. I'm trying to adjust the sensitivity on my yoke via Flight's standard.xml. Apparently I do not know much about computers. In windows explorer I get to C:\Users\*YOUR NAME*\ but cannot find AppData. Am I doing something wrong?

I got the game to install but when I try and start it I get a black box on the screen then two crashes. One is about Microsoft Flight not being able to start and then the other is about Dr. Waton Postmortem Debugger. I cannot start this game at all. I am on XP and I downloaded the installer from the microsoft website. I need help to start this program. I also have an older version of Internet Explorer on the computer I am trying to install to. I might try updating to Internet Explorer 8 and see if that helps.
