I asked the following questions a short time ago but as I have not been able to resolve them I am taking the liberty of asking again in the hope I am get a better result.I have installed the new MS Flight but when I try to open the game I get an error that"Games for Windows - Live failed to initialize. I have been playing Flight, since it was released, and really enjoy the GA flying.I do, however, see a problem with any attempt to add ATC and AI.Most players that I have observed,attempt to take off from wherever they spawn.regardless if that is a runway,parking spot,...etc.I see chaos ahead if ATC is added.I guess "private" sessions is the only answer to this. I've already hadplayers attempt to "ram" me while I am trying to complete a mission. .Or different servers for "hardcore" or "casual" players, much likeMMOs do with PK and non-PK servers.RB

Ok so now after logging several hours in this new sim, I have to say how very impressed I am by the quality, detail, and smoothness that goes along with it, in Flight.I have been flying FSX since it's release, and still do and plan to continue to do so.The more I see in Flight, the more I really like it. The land detail is just absolutely stunning. And the perfomance with it, is amazing. I have seen some folks mention here and there they have seen a little stuttering, I have yet to see any stuttering. And those trees, beautiful, actually look like trees - even blow gently in the wind. The water too, whilst I think could be better, is pretty darn good, especially when seei…

Did you know that if you hit "E" just as you go full throttle, the plane will continue down the runway without you?

I saw todays Aerocache and said to myself "No sure if serious Microsoft?".. A Four star aerocache.. Finding it is easy, getting is easy.. Four stars??? Typically you could just land the Icon and motorboat your way over to it or get out and walk. Sweet disclaimer before I posted by the way, lol. Anyway, I just heard that MS Flight was released and have been reading through some of the threads, but I noticed there is no "Flight" section in the File Library yet. As I recall, FSX had an area in the Library just before it was released, so I guess I'm wondering then, if it's confirmed that there will be no support for freeware/payware developers?P.S. I realize that this is a whole different "beast" than previous FS titles, but at this point I'm trying to figure out just how different it is.Thank you,Jeff

It would be nice if MS was kind enough to remove the ad for the Hawaian Islands Pack from the Main Menu once you have purchased it...No big deal, I guess...Just annoying...Steve

Just something I noticed when flying around last night. With no 3PD support things like this will go unchecked unless Microsoft fixes them. I wonder how they could forget such a huge landmark.

I get kids will be kids, I get plane simulators multiplayer will always have the `crash into everyone guy' but there is a golden rule about not biting the hand that feeds you. So last night I was hosting MP.. Before I went to bed I asked if they wanted the weather changed etc and told them I'm minimizing the game and not cutting off hosting. Then went and parked my plane in a completely out of the way place in the back far corner of Hilo and went to bed. My plane couldn't have been more out of the way if I tried.Don't you know I woke up this morning to find the big `You crashed' dialog box with the ambulance on it up on my screen. I mean I'm hosting the game. I left it up…

I've noticed that when increasing and decreasing throttle, what I get mostly is just an increase and decrease in volume. Or that's what is sounds like. Doesn't really sound right. The RPM variance seems okay.Has anyone else had this?

So i am sitting on the runway ready to go ,give her a little throttle ,everything ok give her about 30% and the plane starts to turn right very fast,Anyone else having this problem or know what i am doing wrong?ThanksFunnelpond

Any word if PFC (Precision flight controls) will be supported? I have the jetliner yoke and the throttle quadrant, both serial. Can't see myself purchasing any DLC without being able to use these….along with TIR.

Just wondering if anyone has had the problem of starting "Flight" only to find out it has reset all your missions and made you start with the intro mission. So frustrating after spending time on completeing missions. It has done it to me 3 random times now. It logs me in with my live account like normal everytime, but every now and then it resets my missions. I am so close to uninstalling. Has anyone else had this issue. I only have the game installed on one computer.

Hi, I wonder if anyone else have this problem. I have purchased Hawaii Adventure Pack and the Mustang P51D.All worked well, except that I cannot enter the cockpit with F9?? With F9 + backspace my viewpoint is about 5 mtrs before the plane?All the other buttons F11,F10,F8 and F7 works fine.All other planes works good as well.I have tried this on my laptop and desktop and both have problems with F9 related to the Mustang?I don't know how/if I can reïnstall this plane? I 'v puchased them with MS-points.I use W7-64 bit.Till so far, thanks for any help in advance,

I've been flying around with multiplayer enabled and set to 'Public'. People join and leave my session regularly. But I noticed something which seems a bit fishy. The usernames all seem to be similar. A lot of them seem to take the format of <verb><noun><number>.
