Hi,I have installed MS Flight to both my PC and laptop to play when I'm travelling but the profiles are not synchronised. For example I have completed all basic missions and found 7 aero caches on my laptop but on my PC there is no data there and I have had to play through the game as if it was my first time although the 7 aero caches do show? I would have thought that this is one of the things that signing into GFWL would accomplish.Anyone know any way around this or will I have to treat MS Flight separately per machine?

Anyone besides me still getting the blurries with MS FLIGHT? I almost never venture into a new area without experiencing them. I am wondering about XP and Flight Statistics. Do they only count when doing a mission? Can you get stats when getting aerocaches? I was in free flight and wanted to beat my high altitue record and I knew I did but it didnt count it. So need some info on all of these. Thanks

Just wondering how Flight files actually differ from FSX..PAK files can be opened with WinRAR, but altering them in any way throws corrupted installation message and game will exit.Plane model files in SimObjects are no longer .mdl files, but .model files. Different modelling software/format was used?Managed to bypass file verifications.. Changed A5 paint icon, repacked, went to hangar.. and it showed it fine.If BGL files in scenery are mapped using coordinates - does this also mean importing FSX scenery will unlock world areas???

Since the release of MS Flight I've been moaning how twitchy the RV6 is and also how I don't like the default view (way too far back). I made an attempt to purchase an aircraft, the Maule Orion.I entered the Market Place, and attempted to buy creditsI entered the Payment options page, which asked me for personal information; name, address, etc.I could not enter this information correctly, as it had me entered as being in the USA, which is incorrect, and there was no option to change this, either in the Windows Live page or the XBox page.Windows Live should have got my location from my IP address, but obviously did not.Please, Microsoft, will you put this right? Has anyone found any rhyme or rhythm to do the door selector key bindings? There doesn't appear one. Each key does different things whether you single select it or double select it, some keybindings lock the doors from opening at all.. Very strange..It's like they never finished it.. It's in the game in game controls but not in the manual.. From the very odd behavior of how it is currently working to the lack of explanation in the manual it seems very half implemented.

The settings say I have full control, but all I am able to do his select, I can not change anything. W7 is new to me. Am I missing something?ThanksRoy NH

This one is kicking my butt man.I can finally get it to touch down on the runway, but I always seem to run out of runway and it tips over and of course fails the challenge... Guess I am pretty much going to have to just stall it right over the edge of the runway end somehow.

"we aren't at liberty to discuss rex in Flight".Interesting answer considering that some others 3PD went public they are not in any discussion with Flight. So I'm halfway through a clandestine flight, I've got the old girl trimmed straight and level skimming the wave tops between Molokai and Oahu, and it occurred to me that with the current Flight framework, surely it wouldn't be too difficult to have multiplayer missions and challenges For instance, the clandestine ones. One or more pilots as the "freight" haulers, one or more pilots as the police searching for them. Game ends when the cargo lands, or when the interceptors are able to stay within say 2nm of the targets for 1 min.Or how about air racing?Or make the fly-ins and aerobatic competitions multiplayer.I'm sure there could be other scenarios as well.The Oahu coast i…

Hello my fellow flight simmers,With the announcment of an Alaskan expansion pack, Flight is looking ever more as a full world simulator, and I have renewed interest in it...But the only reason Flight is sitting idle on my hard drive is because I have a slight issue with my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke...when I push the Hat Switch left, the actual in-game camera goes right, and vice-versa...Any Help?

So, I'm new to the MS Flight. Old pc gamer though.My FPS in this game is perfect. I run it on high graphics. I get easily 45fps+BUT, every minute or so, in-game or in-menu, its like the game slams on its brakes 3-5 times in a row, then continues as normal. It's so strange! I've never seen anything like it...I'm wondering since the game is new, that it might be a new launch problem or something... but i'm wondering if anyone else has come across this. It makes it very frustrating during more intense maneuvers. Earlier today I was in multiplayer, I do not remember what I was doing at the time.But just now, I had a serious crash(in multiplayer for about an hour), I was about to fly under a bridge near Hilo to get to an aerocache, I hit the bridge, started the crash cinematic and then shortly after, my computer shut off in a way that pushing the power button to turn it back on didnt work. But i did try unplugging the psu, letting whatever electric charge inside die out, and then plugging it back in helped.Has this happened to anyone else?

Been trying to do the reasonable thing and give Flight! a fair shake, but I can't even install Games for Windows Live Marketplace. I keep getting the above error, and after Binging and Googling it to no avail, It would seem I just might be the only person on the entire internet to have this problem. Any Windows gurus out there have any idea what the above error indicates?Many thanks for any help.

I was blown away by the level of detail when I flew the Waimea Canyon in FLIGHT.So, out of interest, I opened up FS9 (gave FSX a miss) and flew the canned, default FS9, Waimea Canyon flight.What a revalation. Just absolutely no comparison.FS9 can be OK with some good add-one scenery but the default is just left for dead by the detaiil in FLIGHT.

Way back in the early 80's I worked the night shift at a hospital. A co-worker and I installed FS (1,2 or 3,don't quite remember which one), on one of the original IBM PC's with a monochrome monitor.We spent countless hours taking turns flying the Sopwith Camel in crop-duster mode. Sort of remember it as a mini-game where you tried to cover as much of a field as possible with the spray.For some reason the crop dusting is the one thing (along with Miegs Field) that has been lodged permanently into my brain.Think it would be very cool if MS added a challenge/mission like this to Flight. Today I started MS Flight and I was stuck in the fly-by view. I searched for a solution and found one, but that one tells you to delete ALL your files in %localappdata%MicrosoftFlight and %appdata%MicrosoftFlight. And have fun starting over all again from scratch, I suppose...!? However, after thinking about it for a few seconds and watching the content of the various folders, I decided to only delete one specific folder that I thought could cause the problem (it only takes some logic ) and see if that would help. Hello everyone,I a problem with running the game. I've downloaded and installed the game a few times before making it to this point. The game runs normally until i get to the point of the tutorial mission. As soon as the game play actually starts the screen goes crazy. I have lines and shapes and everything else in between filling up my screen. It is to the point where is can't see anything except for the little menu and balloon indicator. I have noticed that some of you hare-core simmers want to get rid of the destination marker during jobs and missions.This is one way (at least it worked for me):1. Make sure MS Flight is not running.2. Open the folder users<user>AppdataRoamingMicrosoftFlight (Windows 7).3. Make a backup of the file flight.cfg.4. Open the file flight.cfg in your favorite text editor. 5. Scroll down until you find this setting:[PointOfInterestSystem]VisibleSetting=06. change the setting to "1".7.
