Another updates which need to be installed manually? Are you kidding me? What is the point of your micro updates, if you are not using them?... I admire your job and I am not definitely saying something against it... but reinstalling it for the THIRD time!!! I am really tired by this.

A quick question on the triple update. I notice we're instructed to uninstall the NGX 800/900. Will uninstalling and then reinstalling that have any sort of detrimental effect on the 600/700 expansion pack? I just ask because I recall when installing the 600/700 expansion pack, I was told I must have the 800/900 base pack installed first. Apologies if this is a "dumb question". I try to limit them to one per day.

Just before I left to take my family on a short break I saw a new thread by RSR on a triple update and thought I'll read it some more when I return. However, I can't find it and don't want to screw up. Can someone point me to it?

According to the sticky up top, the P3D v4 conversion is complete and released. However, when you check the PMDG website to purchase the 777-300ER expansion, it still shows it is not available for P3D v4. That it is only compatible for v2.4 - v3.x. I imagine this is just an error on the webpage and shopping cart, but I wanted to double check before making a purchase on a wrong version. Thanks.

Hello, it's my first time posting here but I am in need of some help. I just installed the 737NGX however the entire aircraft body is missing it's the same in all variants, the virtual cockpit is fine but the outside view is where the issue arises. I followed the steps in the NOTAMS and the other post regarding the 777. I don't have this issue with 777 or any other aircraft on my system. I've included screenshots to show exactly what I'm speaking of. HERE EDIT: Some switches in the cockpit are also missing, as seen HERE.

After the NGX came out and I installed it I kept having a lot of issues, drop in fps pd3 failing to start CTD just different things going on. I finally gave up and uninstalled everything with PD3 v4 and formatted the D:/ drive. It may of bin a windows 10 issue which I call windows vista 1.0 (LOL): But anyways at the time I had PD3 on its own drive with the path set as D/microsoft games/ Lockheed martin/. And when Prepar3d came out with there hotfix I just updated the client, which may have been the problem. But anyways did a complete reinstall. Hi, I recently had to reset windows 10 and have to rebuild my flight simulator. I own PMDG: 737-6-700; 737-8-900; B777-200 and B747-400 QOS II. My drive where FSX-SE is installed is somewhat limited (250GB SSD). Question: Can I install PMDG aircraft on another drive ( 1TB HDD) on the same machine? Or do they have to be installed on the same drive as FSX-SE? Thanks for answer

Hi folks, in order to download the bunch of last week's updates on 737, 777, 747 I tried my www.precisionmanuals.com eCommerce account but to no avail: I see only my 2011 order of the 737-600/700 add-on of $24.99. The links $20 to $50 and $50 to $100 links don't work in order to show 737 base, 777 base, 777-300 extension, nor 747 Queen... Any ideas? And thanks in advance.

Gents, I know Robert S. Randazzo did not post it yet but yesterday a small update was released for the PMDG 777-200LR/F which fixes the Autobrake sound issue which we had. This update is available for both Prepar3D and FSX platforms. Latest version by is 1.10.8395. You need to grab the installer from PMDG's website by logging into you account. Have a safe flying.

I have the 737, 747, and 777 with p3d v4 hotfix 1. I thought I remember the wing lights casting onto the runway in v3, however in v4 I have to have dynamic lighting turned on to get this effect (which kills fps for me). Should the lights cast onto the runway without dynamic lighting enabled?

How do I uninstall the ops center? Do i just remove it?

Hi I am not entirely clear about current best practice when updating the B737, B747 QOTS II, and B777 with P3D. While I know it is advised that an update via a full installer release requires an uninstall, what is the current best advice on how to achieve this, particularly where P3Dv3 and P3Dv4 are both installed on the computer. The reason I ask is that I still have a document I prepared based on Kyle's earlier advice for updating the B777 and B737 which suggests uninstalling via the Control panel, but then manually removing various files ; i.e Delete any references to the NGX or 777 in the [Sim]\PMDG folder Delete any references to the NGX or777 in the…

Is it possible to map a single key for multiple assignments such as turning off all landing and strobe lights by a press of a keyboard button, or moving the engine starter switches to a particular setting?

Hi PMDG, I only wanted to ask if there is any possibility to have a 737 Classic family from PMDG. I know, QW is working on the Classics but they stopped developing until release of the 787 and they will take another bunch of years to get the 737 out. i know, it´s not produced anymore but the classics were the first with new generation engines and not the old ones and they´ve been the "catalysator" for the known NG series of the 737. So of course, I know, PMDG doesn´t say, we will do it when reading this post. But maybe you could tell me, if you say, it´s possible, or no, we definitely won´t develop the Classic series, because it´s not built anymore and outdated…

Sorry to use this forum for a personal support request, but I can't seem to log into my PMDG acct to redownload the 777. Got my password sent to me using the password retrieval tool and I try it and still doesn't work. Can't open up a ticket unless I am logged in though. Help.

Strange i just did the uninstall/ reinstall for the 3 aircraft i have 777,ngx and the 747 3 days ago now opening up my oc is now saying there is a update for the 777 please uninstall/ reinstall again surely this cant be right

With this new Version for 747/777 the Dynamic Light kills my GTX 1080 in 4k Resolution. With the latest Version before this one( 3.00.8377) the FPS drops only at Flightbeam´s KSFO HD to the half (from 40/35 to 20/15). Now the FPS drops at any Airport (like FT EHAM, FB´s IAD or DEN etc.) when Dynamic Light is on, of course the fps drops not so massivly like at KSFO, but it is slightly more than before. I notes by monitoring GPU-Z, that the base usage of GPU load is about 65/70 %. With every additional Light i switched on, the GPU load rise about 10% per Light, see below. Hello. Let me tell what i did before this bug happened. Please read carefully to not interchange the 737/747 i will mention. It is a bit wiered, so thats why i ask to read carefully. Last normal state of the operation center and the 747-400 was the rollback on 1. July and the time after it until i bought the 737-800 yesterday. Can you use liveries created for P3D v3 with the new P3D v4 version? I'm guessing not since they may have 64-bit textures now?

Do the Boeing FMCs allow for keeping track of actual miles flown? My not exactly thorough perusal of the FCOM hasn't turned up anything yet. The situation is let's say there are significant deviations from the programmed flight path, due to diversions or ATC vectors. Is there any way at the end of the flight to have a record of actual air (or ground track) miles flown?

Dear forum, many of you might find your selfes in a similar situation: On the one hand you have spend a notable amount on various addons that enhance your flying experience to a point that you don't want to miss them. While understandable it is still disappointing to see that not all of these addons have updated to Version 4 yet. Just to give an example: IVAO online flying or Complex Aiport sceneries. At the same time you'd find yourself flying over low traffic density regions of the world were you could use P3DV4 and enjoy flying with the the latest upgrades. Hi all, I tried really hard not to post here but I cannot find a fix for my issue. As many other people have had, I cannot hear the engine sounds (over what sounds like a generic monotone engine sound) of both the 737 NGX and 777 aircraft and the sound only slightly adjusts for each different view. I cannot hear the engines spool up when starting, cannot hear a definite difference at takeoff, cannot hear reverse thrusts and cruising leaves a lot to be desired . I have tried every fix that I could find; updating sound drivers, checking that the speakers are set to stereo and working with no issue and checking that the sound settings in the FMC are correct.
