Hi PMDG staff, While my Prepar3d installation is located on a seperate drive from my System (C:) I have found a folder called "PMDG" just on my C: drive. It inclueds six folders (DEM, dlls, ICONS, NavData, PMDG 737 NGX, SIDSTARS) that have recently been changed. The PMDG OC is located at C:Programm Files (x68) and as I have mentioned before my Prepar3d installation is on P:. I have uninstalled the 737 for previous versions of P3D via the Control Panel before I have switched to P3Dv4 and DO have installed the 777 (both) and 747. Inside the DEM folder there are 27 .DEN files with a size of 56,250KB each. Are those files backups (as there is this 737 f…

All, Currently going through a full reinstall of all of my set up starting from a clean copy of Windows 10 etc. (nothing wrong with the set up previously per se but had become bloated over years of odd software installs, etc.) Turning my mind to my age old issue of wanting to look out of the window rather than keep panning the view into the cockpit and was thinking about options for seperate PFD and ND displays. hi, this probably not right place for this, but my operations center is not/wanting to downloading liveries for my 747 or 777. I click my choice then button breifly says downloading then go's back to state was before clicking it does not download anything the livery manager works and will install liveries I have on a drive already. but livery downloader wont pull them from internet, firewall issue think? noticed (well since I owned PMDG products, very long time ago till now) when sitting in cockpit you only see cockpit shadows outside, is that by design or did I miss something in FSX / -SE, P3D V3/4 settings? I don't know how to insert a picture in here to illustrate my point? I hope this will work,

Aerosoft are claiming that they haven't received the recently updated installer for the 772 or for the 773 expansion. Is this correct and if so when will they be supplied to them?

I’d like to ask advice on the following: which would be the best PMDG plane to start off with, in term of learning, documents, tutorials? For FSX SE. Actually, back around 10 years or so ago, I had purchased all the PMDG products and I have a fairly good knowledge of these types of flight sims, but I’m a little bit out of touch on which PMDG product currently would be best for somebody like me for reentering this hobby with FSX SE? 737? 747? I have a powerful computer and FS controls, etc. I greatly appreciate any advice you can give.

After uninstalling the old versions and downloading and installing the new installers, none of my liveries are there and the OPS center is asking me to delete them and re-download them one by one... i have a hundreds... this is getting old. what happened or went wrong? This is for both the QOTSII and 77L.

After uninstall/install with the new installers, 747 and 777 cockpits are both dead - no buttons move. In outside view, both planes hover over the runway with gear up. I read in the knowledge base that it may have to do with a wrong simconnect install. Yesterday before the update, I did a flight with the 747 without any problem. I have P3D v4 Hotfix 1 installed. What should I do? Michael

I know it's a million $ question, and also hardware related, but since I only fly PMDG planes I figured I would ask here. Soooo which is better, 4k TV/monitor, or 34" UW curved monitor. Thanks for the help

There was also a conflict on my computer with Aerosoft Malpensa X for Prepar3D v4 which caused a CTD when I wanted to load the PMDG 777 on P3Dv4. Just to let you know in case you have the same issue... Enjoy your Day Fred

Hi i dont have a lot of time to do long haul flights i was using the auto time compression for long hauls floght but since i upgraded from p3dv3 to p3dv4 i cant go up to 16x auto compresiion with my pmdg products (i did all my updates as said) is it just me or is it a known issue thank you for your helps!

Hi AS16/PFPX/ Flightbram KSFO/T2G Seattle Yesterday planned a flight from KSFO-KSEA in the 747-400 using PFPX. Saved the .rte to the required folders (as per normal) loaded up the flight, entered all my fuel, ZFW data, uploaded the route into the FMC. But alter entering all the PERF and weights, cruise altitude, assigning a flap setting I had no V speeds displayed. I also had no VNAV display data alongside my waypoints on the LEGS page. I've been at this for a long time, so was stumped as to why this was. I tried another planned route the other way around - same thing happened. Captains, When we started pushing out updates to bring our products up to compatibility with Prepar3D v4, we almost immediately began to suspect that our installers were not doing a proper job of getting our products onto the user machine in usable form. I'll spare you the long version of the story, but the short version is that some aspects of our installation process trace their roots back to our original PMDG 737 release from July 1, 2003. Hello everyone, I've been trying to open the documentation found in the operations center for the 777 to do some reading, but whenever I click on the PDF file, nothing opens. I couldn't find a solution anywhere for it. Has anyone experienced this before? Ali Hoteit

Hi all, Basically - I have backups of my aircraft config files and key commands and that sort of stuff - but do I need to copy them back in after an uninstall/reinstall? Or does the uninstaller/installer leave these alone? I remember last time it left some stuff behind, I just can't remember what. Cheers, Rudy

I just want to thank the PMDG team for creating the "Most Current Information On P3D v4 Availability and Conversions for P3D Product Lines" thread, and for updating it with your progress. This is an excellent way to keep all the information in one place and allow the users of your products to know the status of their favorite airplanes by simply reading a single post. Hello everytime I choose another livery I have to adjust the PMDG Setup option menu on FMC like in those aircraft ,equipement, display option, simulation and performance yes, I know that every type of aircraft maybe have a diffrence setting, but, is there any setting where I can saved all this setting so that I do not have to do this every livery I choose, I am talking all the aircraft of PMDG like 747,777,737. can anyone tell me if this is possible, thanks Best regards JohnLiem

Is there anyway you can consider just getting the 737ngx out instead of us waiting for the 773? That way we have 2 planes that can do long hauls the 772 and the 747, and one plane we can do short hauls aka 737ngx. I hope you take this into consideration Thank you Alex Kulak
