Anyone get the latest version of the NGX for FSX-SE through Aerosoft's support database??? Right now their ZIP file is version 1.20.8396. The OC tells me I need .8413. Guessing it's just a matter of time.... John Gaasbeek

I kinda lack the motivation to download all the installers... For those who have updated already, are there any performance gains after the updates? I did not have many problems with PMDG other than Low FPS with 747 and 777. So don't really feel like upgrading.

I setup my flight path with PFPX, my 777 takes off to the west at O'Hare and keeps flying west. Does anyone know why the first waypoint says VECTORS?

Hi, I saw Mr. R. said there were updates. So I went to the Operations Center and sure enough I saw that there was an update to the Operations Center and the DC-3. Here's two screens I got when trying to update it. I have a fiber optic connection so it's very fast. After these two screens I rebooted like the message indicated I should and updated the DC-6 but the Operations Center itself will not update no matter what. I have no firewall, no anti-virus or anything else than P3D and Windows 7/64. Please advise. Thanks.

Ok, I give. Swapped out a hard drive and now PMDG will not let me activate my product. I get it, piracy protection. So when under "contact us" does not work what do you do??? Logged in and still does not work. It says activation exceeded. Well if I bought it I should be able to active 10000 times. Help?

I am running the PMDG 737 on FSX:SE I have never had a problem with any PMDG products but for some reason this is playing up BIG TIME! I start the plane in Cold and Dark and begin my preps. Everything thing runs perfect until in enter my route plan. I am doing a short test flight from EGNT-EGSS and enter all waypoint from PFPX, but as soon as I click execute on the FMC and get to the page where I have to enter my ZFW etc this is when it goes wrong. Normally you can click on the ZFW box and it brings up your weight and then you click again to insert this, well I click is and nothing shows up at the bottom of the FMC, But I click it again and it ins…

Hello all, I updated my PMDG products yesterday to the latest version. I've been flying the PMDG 747 today in Prepar3D V4 and keep getting crash to desktop errors when I minimize P3D. When I check the Event Viewer it says its related to something called KERNELBASE.dll. I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues? I didn't have any problems before updating the 747 yesterday. Any help/advice would be much appreciated. I had to reinstall windows earlier this week and have been slowly getting FSX back to where it was, and my PMDG 777 was the first I tried to install with, but it says the installation key in my downloads is not valid. What's going on here? It was perfectly valid the last time I installed it. Patrick Boynton

Is there going to be a paintkit for the DC-6 in FSX?

Hi Guys A question about Prepared V4 turbulence setting whilst using Active Sky. In the PMDG manuals it recommends to click the 'disable turbulence effects' on the insim weather screen however in P3D V4 the setting has changed to 'enable turbulence effects' Should I be using this checkbox to enable turbulence in ASP4 whilst using PMDG? Hello, I regularly make backups of my system by using Acronis True Image. I use Windows 10x64. In the past it was no problem for me to use all the PMDG aircraft after a system restore has finished. Now I need to activate all these aircraft again - everytime I made a complete restore of my system. OK, I do not make a restore every day, but It is really annoying, and I'm afraid one could reach the activation limits more often as necessary. Patric

I am experiencing a problem - with the latest releases of the PMDG 747 and 777 in P3D V4. When I turn on 'stop at top of descent' - the fmc changes to ON - yet when I reached the TOD - the planes continue - and do not stop at the TOD. any thoughts would be appreciated

Hi, finally I took time and started uninstalling my PMDG products.. at the same time I tried to login to my account in PMDG shop in order to download the updated files for my planes ( NGX, 6700 and 777). Every so often, we see posts from people who say they have had to reinstall their Windows 10 OS and their flight sim from scratch due to either crashes or choice and bemoaning the hours it takes to do that process. I myself have been through this process recently but that was due to the release of W10 Creator’s Update earlier in the year after the Windows 10 Anniversary Update last year so was by choice rather than any specific issues. However, I am amazed at how many people don’t seem to have any backups of their system and flight sim installations. I purchased the expansion this afternoon and before installing I downloaded the new installers for the 800/900 and Queen V3. Ran those then installed the expansion. Now all 3 have frame rates of 13 to 15 from normally in the 40s and 50s before the update. Uninstall all the PMDG planes and do it all over again? Or reinstall from the previous installers? Thanks. I have a question when creating/flying with flightplans and using the P3D ATC communication. Is it necessary to load the same flightplan in P3D as loaded in the FMC for getting correct ATC guidance??? This would also mean that when I'm creating a flightplan via PFPX or FSC, that I have to store that flight in the PMDG and also in the P3D format to get accurate and correct ATC guidance. To my understanding, if I don't load the same flight in P3D too, ATC would guide my probably on another route. Is this correct or do I missunderstand here something ? Hello pilots! As we all know, PMDG has released updates for their stunning products somewhere back in June or July (can't really remember, I had final exams around then). I own the complete NGX series, 777 series and the updated 747-400 V3 for FSX. Now, as I said earlier, there are updates for these products. However, I actually do not see a reason to update these, and I mean the 'uninstall-and-reinstall-the-product' update. Why? Well, I've had six (yes, six!) big crashes with my FSX this year. Referring to the aforementioned Title I may add it's just to seek a confirmation to ease the mind of an elderly man. When installing a PMDG A/C (737NGX-777-747 and DC-6) one gets the question in the popup menu in which P3D file you want to install them. Both P3D v3 and v4 are ticked so my question is: do I only leave ticked the P3d version I am using which in my case will be P3D v4. Thanks in advance and regards, Dirk

I would like to take the time to thank PMDG and especially Kyle for helping me today when I made a mistake in buying the 777 and rectifying it within 30 minutes or so. You guys have no idea how much I appreciate it. I just now installed the 777 in P3Dv4 and gosh, what a plane! Now I have the NGX which I had in FSX but re-bought for V4, the Queen, and the 777! Next month the DC-6. I'm going to tell everyone I know about my outstanding experience and fast customer service. Gents I've seen a few posts of frustration, but little of thanks. I do want to say thank you though. While it's clear that the upgrade to V4 was something of a dynamic process, I at least appreciate your efforts. The fact is that PMDG are the only 'serious' developer who has got airliners working in the new sim, within a very short space of time. You've kept the upgrade process flowing, and you have communicated openly and clearly with your customers with regards to progress. Appreciate it all. Regards David Powell
