I just had a new Hard Drive installed on my computer. I'm using Windows 10 64 bit. I ran all the updates for the OS, but no other changes were made to my machine. When installing PMDG aircraft, I get the following error message when running the DirectX installer at the end of the installation process. I'm not sure what to do since I really don't know what to look for. The aircraft load into P3Dv4. They show up in the OC, and I'm able to install liveries. When running a scan with the Navigraph FMS Data Manager, however, the PMDG aircraft don't show up. All other addons such as PFPX and Active Sky work OK. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Hi, could someone confirm that Autosave flights are being loaded correctly after restart with FSUIPC version 5.112 installed with the latest 747 update/version? I have Windows 10 freshly installed, all updated and FSUIPC with the newest version but planes are loading dead. Thanks Timm

But for once and for all...let's give PMDG a renewed up-to-date view of customer demand for the MD-11, after which it's up to them if they want to act on it in the future. Reply with a YES if you're truly(!) willing to pay full price for a new up-to-date PMDG MD-11. No analyses...no love stories...no "No's"... just a simple YES

Hello, I have a problem regarding loading PMDG planes into my sim. Whenever i try to load any PMDG plane into the sim (737, 747 and 777), the sim crashes and gives a kernelbase.dll error. This is really weird because default aircraft load just fine. Restarting my PC didn't work. I tried to fix this by running sfc /scannow into CMD, didn't work. I tried installing the newest Nvidia drivers, didn't work either. Has anyone else encountered this problem and/or found a fix? Help would be very much appreciated! Regards, Bram Sars

Has anyone heard anything about any future projects that PMDG is working on? There seems to be a close working relationship with PMDG and Boeing. I would absolutely love to see a C-17 project. I realize that PMDG is all about the civilian airline operations but I don't think that anyone could do as good of a job on something like that than these guys. Brent Roberts

I have had to remove and reinstall FSX and have discovered that the max winds I can ever get are 99 knots. I remember doing something a long time ago to fix that so that if actual winds are, say, 116 knots, the MFD will actually display 116 knots! I'm using AS16 for weather and have winds aloft checked.

Hi PMDG, I need small help. I recall i nthe past that there was nice manual of how to reinstall current PMDG product with key in order to make sure that when new P3Dv4 is loaded, there won't be any issues with license etc. Question concerns 747 newest version and 737. Did I read that if you owned the 737ngx for p3d v3 that you could get free update to v4.? I thought I read it but cant find anything about it. If I have to buy it again it will be the third time.....Thanks Mike

After several mandatory reinstallations necessary because of the changes of the Operations Center suddenly I got a message to activate the 747v3. I did it again and i could fly the 747. Then a few days later (after some flights with the 737 en 777) i got the same message for the 737 and 777 but now without an activation window. What’s happened? I looked for clues why i couldn’t activate. Reinstalled all simconnect.msi (v 10.0.60905.0; found 3 different versions) with no positive effect. So i had to use an old backup of the pc. No solution. Uninstalled all planes and installed the 737 again. No activation upon installation (used to be the case…

APU button in the virtual cockpit will not show click-ability and unable to activate when starting from cold and dark. Ideas?

hi all, After a year not using any of the PMDG birds, and still waiting for P3Dv4 to shake out (in term of other add-ons I own), I would like to run these bird again with P3Dv3.4. I plan to use only the base sim with detailed airports from FSDT, FBeam, PacSim, and only ORBX Australia and some of the ORBX airports there. Will I run into OOM or will I be able to complete flights without trouble. Thanks in advance.

I know many others have requested this as well, but may I add my voice to a kind request ... Will you please, PLEASE, consider flight models for the B738, B777, and B744 where the landing and taxi lights work WITHOUT having to turn Dynamic Lights on in P3D4? Then those with NASA super computers and 4K monitors can have all the joy of landing lights + dynamic lights, and the rest of us with only i7 4GHz 32GB RAM and 1070GTX 8GB video cards can also have the joy of landing and taxi lights that work. It will really, REALLY be appreciated ... because I doubt if LM will come up with a fix or an alternative solution to this nonsensical FPS glutton! Hopeful for a …

09-06-2017 Tried to log into PMDG using my email account and password to purchase another product, but it would not let me log in. (- both typed correctly - no changes from my end have been made - logged in successfully many times in the past) and it says I'm providing an incorrect email or password. When I said I forgot my password, it emailed me the exact password that I had just typed to the exact email address that it said was incorrect. The contact page is a round robin. No email. No phone. Hi, Ever since the last upgrades of pmdg products I have been getting double callouts on landing. From 2500 feet down. I was wondering if there is anyway to stop this. Thank You Anthony Marquis

Can anyone please help? I am using FSX Acceleration with Windows 7 Enterprise, PMDG 737s, 747 QOTS II, and 777 packages. For no apparent reason I am now getting an error message on startup saying the Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third-party software package (addon), citing the PMDGsounds.dll as the problem. https://www.dropbox.com/s/txiqvbpif4dxco1/ErrorMessage.jpg?dl=0 I have tried replacing that file from a working version of FSX, and reinstalling my QOTS II and 777 packages, without success. hi guys i am having a bit of a problem with updating my aircraft.. after several attempts of uninstalling and reinstalling the latest versions of both my pmdg products every time i open the ops centre i KEEP having a message saying i need to update even though i have the correct updated versions for some reason this is also causing my p3d v4 to keep crashing to desktop every time i try to fly either of my aircraft and it is incredibly frustrating. has anyone had thisd problem or know a reason as to why this is happening!!

I have a question about the pricing of the 747-8 "Expansion" Because of the fact that the new 800 version of the aircraft is not just a -4oo with different wings and engines, and filled with new electronics and new features, I wanted to know if you will release it as a whole new product for 134,99, or as an expansion for less money where the -400 is needed in order to acquire the -800. I have started perusing the intro document, and was quite happy to learn that PMDG is reaching out to the weather program developers and proposing to have the FMC wind info used in the 777's cruise and descent forecast page auto populated by said weather programs. I have been wishing for this feature for ages, and I'm very excited to see that this feature is possible. Because in the end, it's just data, and how hard can it be for the two programs to talk to each other? Kudos to PMDG, this is a HUGE step in matching real world ops where the cockpit crews have the luxury of pressing a button on the FMC and retrieving the wind info electronically, avoiding tedious data…
