Ok, so I am fully aware of all the posts regarding this topic and I have looked at the ones I could find. (by the amount of looking on the internet for a solution, there were a lot) But I just cannot understand why the transaction must be declined, I bought 3 other pmdg products without this message and I tried maybe 7 times on two different cards. I did not change cards or banks, and at the time of this post it's too late to call the bank/card company for authorization. I was trying to buy the pmdg 737 for P3D because I want to get rid of FSX as soon as possible, it is just full of problems and it's at the point I get OOMs at the gate. Is this maybe because of the P3D v4…

I am not copy and pasting rte files from v3 to v4, these are fresh rte files. I dont believe that Simbrief.com rte files for the 747-4 QOS P3V4 are quite yet compatible. Every time I try and load one in to the FMC the system freezes up. Anyone else have the same problem? Thanks Randy

Could I please request that this forum be separated into, or clearly refer to, questions relating to whichever platform the issue relates to. I am tired of following an interesting thread only to find it concerns an issue in P3D, be it performance related, livery related or whatever. I may be influenced into thinking that P3D is the future, but I don't have it; nor do I expect to have it in the immediate future. PMDG/FSX is my platform and I enter the forum expecting to see issues in this sphere. Would it be an idea to, at least, state the operating system your PMDG question relates to?

Hey guys, Does anyone else find that in FSX the PMDG 737 is barely affected by crosswind conditions on landing and takeoff? Every time I'm about 300 feet above the ground even with a 35 knot crosswind the plane can de crab perfectly and I'm flying the last mile with no crosswind effect at all, even though the NAV display still reads a strong 30 knot wind coming in perpendicular to the approach course. Flying before 300 ft, the plane flies an approach influenced by a crosswind as expected, but I do not know why the wind's affect just disappears for me during the final part of the approach. I dont know if others are seeing this but when i load the short turn around panel state the FMC starts on the menu page but when i press the FMC option LSK 1 it goes straight to PERF Initialization page not the IDENT page and the transponder is in the TA/RA mode not off... there could be more switches misconfigured but these are the two things i've noticed. can i change the configuration of at least the startup page on the FMC.

Hi, so i already created an account at the Support Desk and also written with the support. In my password manager I deleted the page accidentally. So i clicked "Forgot your password?" at the Support Desk site and had entered the correct e-mail address. So that the message appears "Your password change request has been sent" but yeah there is no e-mail in my inbox after four days also not in the spam folder. Dear All,I just came across the upgraded version of the popular ATR 72- 500 : the - 600. I recall the flight 1 ATR 72-500 which was a brilliant model for its time. Then came the amazing PMDG J 41. AS most of us are excited about prepar3d v4 going 64bit and we were limited to 4gb for so many years and now it is 128gb memory. The possibility are are almost endless. I seen the list as how PMDG is going to update there products. I was kind of disappointed that the NGX was put at the bottom of the list. This is my own opinion. I was kind of disappointed that I paid for 777 for FSX. And to find out I would haft to pay additional $134.00 for prepar3d version and i will not pay twice for the same plane without discount. Lately I've been trying the X-Plane 11 public beta, and I have to say, It is superior in a lot of ways compares to P3D/FSX(Again, im not saying one platform is better than other one, its all personal preference, P3D has lot more 3rd party plug-ins, XP11 has better techonolgy etc.). And as someone who spent lots of bucks on P3D on plug-ins, after trying XP11 for few weeks, I really want to switch over to XP11 all together. But one huge factor is that there isn't that many 3rd party adds on. Hi, I am waiting, like I know others probably are too, for the latest iteration of FSUIPC for Prepar3D v4. The main reason I use it is for control assignments, particularly for controlling the autopilot, setting toga, and reverse thrust per engine. Using FSUIPC I can set a keyboard command and assign that to a button on my yoke, I can also assign individual engine reverse thrust using FSUIPC using 'Throttle x Dec' and 'Throttle x Cut' functions to the reverse button on and release on my throttles. Captains, We are still chasing down some pretty annoying issues with making the 747-400 compatible for use with Prepar3D v4. Hi! I have encountered a weird issue. Since yesterday, I found that I cannot add new liveries through the operation center. The PMDG operation center is up to date. After I click on the .ptp file, nothing happened and the livery was not added of course. This happened to B777 and B747. I am flying P3D v3.4 with PMDG B777 base+extension, and B747 v3. With the release of v4 of p3d would it still be a good idea to install the uiautomationcore.dll or something like that i cant remember the exact name into the sim folder. I remember seeing it in the manuals but havent been able to find it. If it is still a good idea can some where point me to where it is located these days?

Hello to all: As we patiently wait for the PMDG updates, I wondered if the current P3Dv3 liveries, will work in P3Dv4. I don't understand enough of their painting, to know if the change in simulators might affect the livery compatibility. If it doesn't, great!! Hey guys! First of all, thanks to PMDG for putting in so much work and making an upgrade available for free to transfer from v3 to v4. If any beta tester or developer know, will the PMDG installers be using the new add-ons mechanism created by LM? This would involve installing the aircraft to a folder outside the main p3d folder, and then creating an add-on.xml to map all the effects, simobjects, gauges, textures, etc. I found this to be a really nice feature created by LM, and hope that PMDG adopts it!

So a quick question here, if the 747 is being updated first to V4 does that mean when I uninstall the aircraft from V3 that I should uninstall the operations centre as well? And let the new install to V4 reninstall the ops centre again

In the operations center there is a P3D V4 Plane tab. I have downloaded the latest installer from my account, however, I have both P3D v3... and P3D V4 on my computer and it only finds P3D V3.. sim?

Quick question, hopefully simple answer. I have a flight from KPIT to KDCA. The transition point to the SID (FRDMM3) into DCA has a FL310 restriction (BUCKO). I can only hit that altitude at that point from Pittsburgh if I'm really gunning it. It is impossible to hit it on economy climb. The question... do I have to gun it and make that restriction, or can I file a plan at lower cruise and (if approved) go with it? Anyone have background as to why theres a restriction there in the first place?
