Hi I find myself doing a reinstall of all my FS9 stuff again and I have problems with the 737s.The installers seems to hang on the very beginning.I'm running vista ultimate 64 with 4gb of ram and 9800GTX 768mb video card. and running the installer as administrator.Other payware seems to work fineany help will be appreciated!Thanks

Hi! Anyone out there have done some classic repaints of the PMDG 747-400 pax? I have BA, CX and CI repaints installed. Anyone try Malaysia Airlines, Air New Zealand, Qantas, Dragonair, etc? I posted a request earlier in the week about how to get the ND to only display GS and not TAS/ GS together in flight. Any one know how to get that done? Also eagerly awaiting the MD-11 for FS2004. Please have a Malaysia Airlines repaint for that as I flew it once on MH back in the mid 90s when they were leased from World Airways to MH. Hi all,It seems like I've seen the subject on this before but I could not find it using the Search. Does anyone know where I can find and download the modified file for the sim1.dll? I had it at one time but it was on my old hard drive that went bad. Ken.

Call it a 'furlough' :)I've been flying the E Jet for a while, but I'm now able to 're bid' the Queen (and soon the MD11). Not for technical reasons, but when I introduce a new aircraft to the hanger, I devote time just to her for a while.The E jet is a fine bird no doubt. Excellent in her mission. Great trip costs too.But I miss the god 'ol Smiths CDU. The flows are so much better for a design that stems from the 70's (strangely the decade of my birth as well!)The Primus Epic on the E jet just feels klugy, and like it well, lacks flow altogether. I'm used to keying in the FPL and I'm ok with keying in the trip (though I admit to using my ACARS lite in fsbuild- at least f…

Just a quick question here. On the 747 FSX version I tried to fly a Backcourse approach but I could not find anywhere where to tell the airplane it was a backcourse. During the approach, the airplane did exactly what it should, flew the course the direction the needle was telling it to but during a back course approach you don't want this. Is there any way to fly the Back Course approach while on auto pilot or am I going to have to fly it manual?

Will the testers and/or PMDG please update us on the status of the following.1 Beta progress2 Download manuals( seems you have a license or you would not be able to sell them or include them with product).3 The Liveries for the Md 11 so we can have them before release.4 Surely you have an idea of the price.Thanks.Capnoz

downloading a PMDG file on another computer and transferring to my computer that for some reason will not see the PMDG website. I ask this because it seems that no matter what I do short of nuking my hard drive and starting all over, I just cannot get on the PMDG website on this computer making it impossible to download and install any PMDG product.Michael Pare

Hi allIs it just me or are the exterior 747-400 reverse thrust sounds a little subtle/quiet? Or am I missing something?Does anyone know of any replacement external reverse thrust sounds at all?They don't seem to produce that loud rumble that they do in the real world (well, you know what I mean...I'd be worried if my own speakers were up to the task of creating the noise of a real 744)RegardsRudyPS not meant as any offence to PMDG developers etc. The sounds are fantastic.

Hi, I used the search function but could not find any answer . . .Here the problem :I switched back from FSX to FS9 for various reasons, reinstalled the 747-400 and found the load mgr.So far so good - during FSX times you just hit the button : SEND TO FSX and the load was in the 744.Now the load mgr says: SAVE IT. and accdg. to the manual it should flow into the aircraft.cfg file, but whatever I do with the load mgr ( empty a/c or full ) the .cfg file would not change - also if I hit the ZFW button in the FMC ( as I did in the FSX a/c ) the ZFW will always remain the same!Any help highly apprecriated!Karl-Heinz - EDDI/THF " Tempelhof "" The mother of all airports " - Sir …

Dear All,I think that I am losing my touch....On flight EGLL-KJFK today, I was commanded by KJFK ATC to turn left on 180 deg. Currently on auto-pilot with A/T, LNAV and VNAV engaged, and annunciation of SPD, LNAV, VNAV PATH all correct.I dial in 180 on hdg select, and press SEL. The annunciation changes to SPD, CMD HDG, VNAV PTH, but aircraft does not alter current course.What am I doing wrong?Cheers, Richard

First, I am sorry if this has been answered somewhere before I did a couple of searches but did not find anything that addressed it.The '.' '0' '+/-' keys on the FMC when pressed return the number of the key directly above it (i.e. '7' '8' '9').I have the 737NG (600/700) and the 747NG (800/900) installed and I have installed the 1.3 service pack and the model update. I have FS Passengers installed as well. I am running Windows Vista Ultimate and of course FS 2004.I am guessing that I probably did something incorrectly when I reinstalled 737NG so I am going to try to reinstall again from scratch to check it out while I wait to see if anyone has some ideas.Thanks in advan…

I have just finished a flight with the 747x and I am still amazed, since I got it 6 or some months ago, at the great plane you all simulated. You all have done a great job with it and I will definitely be purchasing your md-11. All I have to say is Thanks PMDG.

Hi Guys:I am in need of Climb and Descent Tables for the 744. Also, if possible, the CI Table, Long Range Cruise Mode Table, and the 1 Eng Inop Table. The priority is the Climb and Descent Tables however. I am trying to create a new aircraft profile for Flight Operations Centre and FS Build. I know by roughly what percentage the PMDG 744 burns fuel differently to the real world. I just need the actual data so that i can input it. CheersPaul

Hey guys,I have read the following on the PMDG ops about my problem with the PMDG 747X:Check if the HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionWinTrustTrust ProvidersSoftware Publishing registry key is set to 0x63c00. This value is Microsoft's WinTrust policy selection flags, as described here. The 0x40000 flag means "Allow only items in personal trust database" and apparently, this clashes with FSX's ability to allow manual authorization of unrecognized DLLs, telling it instead to never trust anything outside the user's personal trust.Unsetting this flag (putting it back to its default 0x23c00 value) returns all operations to normal and Flight Simulator X wil…
