Hi, I want to know if this alert is simulated when speedbrakes and flaps are exteded at the same time. Don't mix it up with the "spoilers" TOCWS warning. This callout is not specifical mentioned either in the PMDG FCOM or the real world FCOM, but I know that the MD-82 has this one. Jan-Paul

I have just been on the web site admiring the MD-11 and trying to sneak a download ;) when I noticed that contrary to what PMDG promised, the NGX is now the next project.Does this mean that the promised Airbus is, no more?

hi,in order to get used to the md11 i want to perform during my first flights a series of touch and go's. i couldn't find this type of approach described in the FCOM (please correct me if i'm wrong). how do you execute a touch and go the right way. i think ont the fokker you don't arm the spoilers, because after spoiler-deployment you have to full stop. but do you press "go around" after touch down or do you push "autoflight" for the ATS to engage again? maybe you have to set the throttles manually?maybe somebody could explain it!thanks in advance,chrjs,(christopher volle)

Or not at all sometimes, unless I pause the sim for an hour.I recently defragged my FS drive (a partition) with Auslogics free disk defragmenter and now textures are very very slow to load, much worse than before. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can fix this?Thanks,Jeff

We all know the 747-400 is the most popular, realistic 3rd party add on aircraft for FSX and FS9, however, can someone on the team do some kind of comparison between the MD-11 and the 747-400 for FSX. How close does the 747 come to the MD-11 in overall realism?Goran

Dear PMDG team, I was trying to download the Varig livery for the MD-11 but it keeps telling me that the page wasn't found, so I just wanted to point it out, don't know if it's an issue related with my computer or something else, the other liveries downloaded with no problems. If yes, how is it running and isn't it too difficult to mouse-click on buttons and others in VC mode ? I always did my flights in 2D mode. Hi guys,I read this in the FAQ sextion (OPS) regarding the MD-11:"The two AFS OVRD OFF switches on the FCP below the AUTOFLIGHT button are NOT autopilot disconnect switches! These will completely disable the MD-11's autoflight system and you will not be able to reengage it. These switches should never be touched in normal flight operations. Hi,In the Introduction manual (very nice BTW!! :D ) it says that it is recommended to disable head lag in the VC to make accessing knobs/switches easier. Where do you disable this?EDIT: OOPS - Page 0.00.44 (PDF Page 44/86). :DBest regards,Robin.

Hello all,A while back, I purchased pretty much everything PMDG has sold for FS9 (come to think of it, I think I did purchase all of the FS9 products). Unfortunately, my DL links no longer work and I would like to re-download my items (re-installed FS9!). I still have access to my account and I beleive I still also have my original email receipts from my purchases.Is there anything I can do to re-download my purchases again?Thanks for your time!

I am almost 100% certain I have followed the manual to set up before departure. I push the throttles to about 40% and then TOGA button and start getting the beep,beep,beep. This warning stops when I rotate so there must be some 'cut off' ocurring when I am above ground level!It has been suggested I set flaps to 15% instead of 5% but same thing.If I push throttles fully forward.....same thing. I have tried my best to fathom out what I am/or not doing but to no avail.The FMC is programmed as per the manual.Can someone please help here?Thank youDon

Hi,Is it possible to manually add coordinates for a waypoint into the legs page of the FMC instead of a waypoint's name?I googled around and found this for the pmdg 747:4800N 01500W = N4800.0W01500.0And this:4800N 01500W = N4800.0W/01500.0However, I'm flying the pmdg 737-800 and it doesn't work with that. In the first case I get "Not in database" and in the second "Invalid entry".Thanks,Martin.

I know you have heard of a lot of these but latley I have been considering switching up to FSX. Anyway here are my specs:Intel Core 2 quad processor Q6600 @ 2.44GHz, 5GM of RAM, Nvidia 8800GT 512MB and Windows vista 64-bit.

I can't seem to get my FMC to display airports. When I program it, it will not recognize the KSEA input and tells me that it it not available. I looked in my FMCWP file and the only thing in it is the NAVDATA file with 14.4mb in it as follows:fmcident 1 kbwpnavaid 989 kb wpnavapt 2042kbwpnavfix 9053kbwpnavrte 2707kbIf I have to reload my navdata, can somebody explain how to do this? In other words, do I first delete the files in the navdata file, then go to a website and download the newest data and put it in the FMCWP file folder?Any ideas?jack

I have an issue when climbing using VNav. Whilst climbing the aircraft's rate of climb varies from nothing to up to 6000fps. At some stages it actually stops the climb. When I push tha altitude button it will slowly start to climb again.When this occurs the flight director constantly moves up and down, thus the plane's climbing rate goes up and down.I have no weather programs installed. If I use the VS button the plane climbs smoothly without any issues, the problem is with the NVav.Need help to sort this issueAndrew

Hi,I've found this forum via the PMDG web site. I'm having real trouble with the 737NG & 800/900 upgrade on final 2000ft of landing. For the last week or so, every flight has gone wrong. All goes fine until about the last 2000 feet. I'm on final approach, tuned the nav radios, ils landing etc all fine. Aircraft turns to line up with the ils all fine, starts to approach final on the glideslope but at about 2000 feet or so the nose pulls up for no reason & loses the glideslope by a mile. It used to be fine, I've done loads of landings with either just A or A&B autopilots engaged, but for some reason now it just won't work. I've uninstalled & re-installed bot…
