PMDG, I am unable to load fuel via the load mgr. as well. I see that you have gotten info you requested for XP and Vista. So far I have uninstalled the product, cleaned the registry and reinstalled the product. I also deleted the fsx config and rebuilt all to no avail.I am running NO addons with the exception of FSGenesis and GEX whileusing the MD-11. I have attached copies of my Config and dll.xmlfiles. Not sure if that will help you in any way.Hope you find a solution soon. Thanks, CraigLian Li PC 65B CaseCorsair HX Series CMPSU-620HX 620W Power SupplyPlextor PX-810SA/SW-BL DVD/CDGiagabyte GA-P35-DS3RCrucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 …

Gentlemen,In the past I had the livery of Air New Zealand, picturing the 'lord of the Ring' characters. I can't remember for which particular version of the 747 it was. As a fan of the writer and his books, I would like this livery for my PMDG 747.Would anybody know if there is a version to be found to put on the 747?thanksLuc BrusselmansBelgium

Not sure why, but my landing lights on the MD-11 project on the ground, but offset about 100m to the right, and about 100m in front (distances are not very scientific - approximating) for all three lights (left/nose/right). They are showing in the right pattern and intensities, just offset to the right and front of the model.Landing light projections show correctly with other add-ons and default a/c.Not using ActiveX graphics (ref other post on landing light issues) - the spot bitmap is the original. Not a big deal, suggestions/clues would be appreciated.Running FSX/Acceleration, Vista 64, 4Gb memory, 8800 Ultra 768Mb in DX9 mode.Cheers,Etienne

Hi,I have this problem with the Stabilizer trim: In the Tutorial it is said that I should use the trim wheel to move the stabiliser trim direction ʻNOSE UPʼ until the stabiliser indication on the SD-ENG page shows 3.9 ANU in *green*:Well, no matter in which direction I pull the stabilizer trim wheel (tried all the way down and up the bar) it is never going to become a *green* ANU light at all...it is staying "orange" all the time...And if I want to takeoff a warning tone comes "Stabilizer! Stabilizer!"Could someone tell me what to do in order that the ANU light becomes green...?Thanks very much!KRSusan

I have followed Tutorial but am still a bit confused regarding how the FMS handles speeds during T Off and Climbout.I find that the speeds tend to 'stick' at V2 +10 unless I push FMS Speed. The tutorial gives me the impression that all should happen automatically once Auto Flight and Nav selected?

Hello,I buy another pc and i install FS2004 (and FSX) on itI would like to reinstall the pmdg 737 for FS2004So i install the pmdg 737-600/700 but i have problem to install the 737-800/900 because my pc says that the pmdg 737-600/700 isn't installed. In the 1rst install, the path is only focusing on the drive (c: or d:) and not focusing on the FS2004 path.So i read on your FAQ that a little utility solves this problem. But i run this utility, find my true flightpath for FS2004 (d:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9), but the 737-800/900 don't want to install it again because the pc think that the 737-600/700 is not install.I have 2 hard drives:- 1 WD Velociraptor …

From what I can guess so far, unless using the 'standard' flaps 15, how do we know when to use dial-a-flap?Will the FMC tell us so in the INIT flows?Obviously we're not running off of dispatch forms :) Closest I have is FSBuild.Tim

Maybe I've missed an announcement in the past, but I remember that when PMDG announced the 737NGv2 or NGX, they said there would be a reasonable chance that it would also be developed for FS9.Looking at the productpage on their website, it is stated that the NGX is only for FSX:( Is this decision final? Are we definately not going to see the V2 of the 737NG for FS9?Or is PMDG waiting on how sales will turn out for the MD-11?If that's the case, I hope the majority of people buying the Three-Holer, will choose for the combo package (which I did and believe is a good deal!).Any feedback on the NGX would be greatly appreciated, cause although I love the MD-11 and 744, given t…

Hey all,I want to buy a new graphics card because my old one is too slow to run FSX, PMDG products and other add-ons at the same time. So I would like to buy a new one which is able to run the products fast and smooth above all with the MD-11 and 747-400X. I have searched and read some reports with new graphics cards in use with FSX. But they don

Hey guys now im not saying you great people at PMDG dont deserve a break, cause you do. Bit the question the 737 pilots are proberbly wondering, is do you still plane to do the 737 NGX, reason im asking is cause i read in a forum somewhere that fsx is halfway threw its life, and the next flight sim is due next year (i dnt know how true that is). Thanks for readingDannyPilot of Goairandeverywhere.com

Hi folks, now, as I fly a Boeing in my other life, forgive me for my Boeing-ism and tell me I'm wrong about these things:a) Above a specific altitude, the FCP will only accept steps in 500 ft. Ie if the alt is set to 20000 then I can't set 20100. Is this realistic?:( If I press the ALT knob to maintain present altitude, the displayed altitude in the altitude window will be my exact altitude and not rounded to the next available step. Ie it will show values like 20180. Is this correct?c) Activating reverse thrust doesn't deploy the speed brakes (if they were retracted). Is this correct?d) With all IRU's off I still get the "PLI" or pitch limit indicator on the PFD. If this …

Dear PMDG crewAfter a few offline training flights, clipping the fence at TNCM and several hundred airsick passengers, I'm finally back online with the MD11, currently crusing at FL370 down to OMDB on VATSIMSeveral aspects of the MD11 have already been praised, I agree with all of them and I'm extremly impressed by the overall product, however I want to especially thank those guys at PMDG who designed the sound set and sound environment for the MD11 - this is truly a piece of art, too.For the first time ever it feels like the real thing as there are no dominant engines howling or roaring while in cruise - very well done.As I have no plans to use FSX as my main platform (u…

I regularly download upgraded AIRAC cycles from Navigraph. Can I continue to apply updates when they specify 'update for PMDG737/747'with MD 11 now installed? In the PMDG folder there is only one navdata folder which is obviously shared by all PMDG products. Is this correct?Andrew

hi,did a quick search in the forum but couldn't see this issue mentioned before....occasionally (when switching views) a continuous max engine thrust sound can be heard regardless of what thrust the engines are actually at. as an example, if i am sitting at the gate with the engines shutdown, the sound will continue as if the engines were running! it happens whilst in the air too. i have found a workaround, which is to change the selection in the checkbox in the PMDG sounds menu (allow sounds to play in external views). if i do this then the sound stops. oddly, it doesnt matter whether i check the box or uncheck it, just as long as i change it from whta it is currently se…

Hey guys,Just bought the MD-11 - loving it so far...just one little question:I've noticed on the PMDG 747 and MD-11 that the highest rate of random failures that I can set is 1 per 10 hours of flight. I understand that represents an average rate over a lengthly amount of time.At that rate, however, one would experience a failure every few days, perhaps as many as one per flight considering the range of both aircraft. Is there any way of reducing this frequency to something that better represents the real world (without 100% simulating the stamina of real-world airliners, of course - an airline pilot might go an entire career only seeing 1 or 2 EICAS messages in flight)?I…

Hi,When I alter settings in the Add-ons menu (for example, changing the Units to KGs in the Airline Options, or disabling the "Enable First Officer Displays" in the Performance tuning), then click "OK", the changes don't always seem to take place. In the case of the Units to KGs this does take effect throught the FMC / SD etc., but the FO displays remain on when unticking the FO displays option in tuning. When I go back into any of the appropriate Add-ons menus all original settings have been re-instated as though I hadn't changed anything.Am I doing something wrong here? Does anyone else have this problem?ThanksAndy.(EDIT: Sorry should have mentioned, this is the MD-11 fo…

hi,first awesome aircraft!i noticed some small "bug", but maybe i just don't set up the plane the right way.It looks like the right spoiler doesn't deploy, even though on the configuration screen it shows no fault and both active (please take a look at the pictures below). this might be just a visual bug. i didn't notice any performance problem as it would occur with only one spoiler deployed.anybody else experiences this problem?regards, chrjs(christopher volle)

HiHas anybody come across this problem? The key board and the joystick trim buttons do not work in the md 11-they are ok with the 747x and level d767.I can not 'turn' the trim wheel with the mouse either-it goes back to centre position when I unclick the mouse.I have tried the re mapping but the same.everything else works great. Please help as I absolutely love the md 11-espicially the extensive check lists and the multi panels.congratulations Team PMDG!!!Qasvista 64 bit.

All,In case someone else experiences this with the MD-11 and FSUIPC mapped control axes:I was experiencing odd behavior with the throttles in particular mapped through FSUIPC. The throttle levers in the VC would hesitate, sometimes not even respond to inputs until significant movement was made. All had a rubberband effect (delay) or flutter quite a bit, especially the reversers at idle. I had the "fix control acceleration" option on in FSUIPC under the misc tab enabled per the recommendations of another product. I cleared that checkbox and all is back to normal again.Hope this helps someone else,Etienne
