    Hello there,Still a question about the MD11 I would like to solve.Sometime, on your flight plan, you have to use low en-route airways you can't fly above certain level... It's very current in France.So I'll have to maintain an intermediary FL untill I enter the high altitude airways.Is there a way to instruct this plane to do so... I tried entering two FL in the init page but the FMS chose itself the point where the plane is going to climb... may I set this manually elsewhere ?What I tried is to set a FL190 then FL230 along my route which did not work. Other way was to just set FL190, then set 230 on a point but other waypoints after the altitude restriction still at FL1…

    I have just upgraded my pc to quad core intel processor 2.66mHz, with an nVidia 9800 GTX video card - 4MB ram and an ASUS mother board. Loading up FS9.1 I get mega FPS with all the default aircraft - but only get 1 FPS with the 737NG and 6 or 7 with the "Queen". Anybody got any clues whats going on?RegardsJohn

    Ciao to all,I do have the latest AIRAC on the PMDG..For instance I have LIPZ scenery made from ISD Project years ago....For RWY 04R the PMDG FMC gives a certain ILS freq and Heading...but on FSnavigator I've another ILS freq..so my PMDG will not intercept the one that's on the FMC but I must manually set the one reported by FSNAv...How do I solve the problem?ThanxxxFS2004PMDG 737/747

    Hello,First with a passenger flight with 2/3 of passengers + 19 tons of fuel, I got a TOCG at 31.4% if I remember correctly. I got a "CG OUT OF LIMIT", where can I find CG limits somewhere ?Second, on my last approach, I set a slightly higer VAPP than suggested but FMS but when in final, the FMS still use the first computed VAPP, not the one I set into the FMS.Thanks for your help.

So the FMX ETA is 1905z at Cologne.Think about that I am not all the time in the Cockpit, which means, that the picture will show the same stuff for a longer time.     In the 747X and 767X FMS there is a page telling you (among other things) the current headwind component.Is there any equivalent for the MD-11? I can see that the FMS adds +5kts to vRef for vApp, but it doesn't seem to make any automatic allowance on top of that for head/tail winds on landing.Tim

    Hey guys please tell me im doing something wrong iv set the fms to perfection set the flaps thrust and stab trim but once iv taken off and on the climb out i switch the controls overs to the autoflight system with prof nav and fms armed, but for some reason it quickly climbs at like 30 DEGRESS nose up and like 5000 feet per minute and it like basically stalls its self my mates having the same problem too any ideas???.Paul

    I was flying the 744 Freighter from PANC to KILN a distance of about 2,500 nm, about midway into the Flight at cruise the Aeroplane began to swing violently from side to side around the longitudinal axis, then the airspeed went off the Gauge,it then began to lose height and drift off course. There wasn,t any Chop nor any unusual Weather Conditions, when I cut the A/P and brought it back under control everything was ok for an hour or two and the it started again,, I,m at a loss to explain this as this is the second time it has happened in FSX. The pre-flight was normal ,Fuel and Cargo were loaded through the relevant PMDG Loaders, there were no FMC Messages re the Trim etc…

    Hi,I'm having a fantastic time with the MD-11, its a real gem.I do have a few issues though. I'll go through the proper support channels, but I wanted to cross-post here as well so that other users can confirm the issues. The problems listed below were encountered after loading a saved FSX flight with its associated panel state. I'm not sure if these issues exist when loading a fresh "free flight" or not... I haven't had time to test.1) The L/H landing light illuminates when rotating the FGS Panel light knob to any position other than OFF. The light itself is still retracted, but the effect is visible.2) The upper and lower red beacons do not flash despite switch position…

    In my past post http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=153061&page=2 I couldnt get the autopilot to turn on so Id figure I would just uninstall and reinstall the 747. I had updated to version 1.2. In the FAQs in the website it says to uninstall via the add/remove programs section of the control panel. Upon doing this when I click on remove I get a message saying that there was an error in the setup.exe. The other problem is I cant reinstall my base installer verion 1.1 becasue it says version 1.2 is detected. If someone could outline for me how to get this to work or any suggestions I would appreciate it. I have gone through and deleted all the files in aircra…

    Twice in a row, I've pressed the "Timer Button" (Far Left Main Panel) which resulted in a CTD Application/Kernel.exe failure.I pushed the button during taxi both times.Not much more to tell.     Other than a OOM crash, I really didnt have any problems with this flight, and the MD11 gave me an awesome flying experience, so great job guys!However, once I pressed the APPR/LAND button Half-way between GIPOL and TRA/10, nothing really happend.Yes I where at 4000 feet and yes I had the ILS freq 109.50 set in the FMC RAD/NAV.Not that Im bad at visuel landings, but it would be nice to get it working.Ps. I accidently crashed into an aircraft because my A/T wouldnt turn off, (Sorry AirBerlin :( )Thanks in advance.- Philip Schmidt.

    Sorry guys,I know these questions have been asked before, but I did a search and couldn't find the answers. and lets face it, it's been several years now. :)I am doing a new install on a new computer. I have the 600/700 and also the 800/900.I found the original files that included the *.W02 files, but I also found a file "PMDG_737_THE_NEXT_GENERATION_V1-3.EXE".Can I use this v1-3 file instead of the original downloads? Or, do the originals need to be installed first and then v1-3?I also found the "Service Update Removal Tool", can anyone tell me what this is for?Hope someone will read this amid all the excitement of the MD11. :)Thanks,Don

  25. Hello PMDG,This post is in reference to the MD-11. Without any information to go on in terms of flight/fuel planning, I am using the MCDU/FMC to assist in my fuel planning (I just love the FS Actions Menu!). What I'd like to see is a feature where the load manager can reflect the current loadout (cargo and fuel) in the aircraft. When I change my fuel via my trial-and-error planning, the ZFWCG and TOCG become incorrect and I get a warning to set these values to reflect my new fuel setting. If I were able to use the load manager to "read" the state of the aircraft, I would be able to make these adjustments.I realize that this is a kludge of sorts, but it seems to be the…
