Why is when I use A/T, it's always shows the message Engine 1,2,3,4 rpm lim? When flying at FL320, engines should be able to carry me with the speed of 300kts. If I switch of A/T and configure the speed myself, he ain't telling me rpm lim, even if I'm going full THR.Please help, I can't use A/T because my aircraft just slowing down, instead of keeping assigned speed.

Hi developer,are there some known problems with a ms visual studio 2008 sp1 installation and a pmdg addon ?1. VS2008 SP12. FSX Sp23. PMDG MD11no problem with all FSX standard airplanesafter installing the md11 then fsx "hangs" after loading "pmdg_main.dll"... after installing 747x, the same procedure... In the MD-11 introduction, a "Patch" is mentioned to make FSX.exe use more RAM. Is this patch only for a 64 bit OS? I have Windows XP Home, it's only 32 bit, right? Therefore I should not bother to patch, right?Randy Jura, KPDX

Hi Folks,Just had a great flight up from Sydney to Brisbane. the only thing i found abnormal was that when appraoching my base turn for Brisbane ILS01 the aircraft started its turn way to early and headed directly for the runway threshold diagonaly. This also caused the aircraft to fly above the intercept point for the glideslope. I had to go manual to get her down safely.FYI the SID was BLAKA4!?, with glenn transition, full autoflight untill the problem occured. Full auto flight as in NAv enganged along with Vertical Profile. Hi Everyone,I am a newbie of PMDG and I am now encountering a problem about FMC.in the FMC flight plan, I've set the CRZ ALT 15000.VNAV and LNAV is activated. I've set the ALT at MCP 10000 for the takeoff.after takeoff CMD L is activated....the flight follow the route (LNAV works correctly).....however, VNAV seems doesn't work. The flight just level off at 10000 which I set at MCP for takeoff. Even I tried to set 15000 at MCP, it still at 10000.Anyway, I just leave it and continue the flight......however, at T/D, it still remain in 10000, it doesn't descent according the flight plan in FMC......is there any thing I miss? please help,thanks a lot

This is a tiny issue with the MD-11 which is such a great addon.At night, no cabin lighting that I can find -- makes it look a bit stealthbomber-ish and unreal. Am I missing something?Ron McKeirnan

I was truely amazed by this. It just shows how in depth this simulation really is.When on the ground, close all doors, except one. Open the cabin press controller, and set it to manual and close the valve. Set SD to AIR and monitor the ----CABIN---- info on the right. Now close the door and see how the plane starts to pressurize. Note a rato of about -1000 fpm. Now open the door. Not only does it depressurize (of course) but the rate indicates the "sudden" drop. Rates in access of 2000-3000 fpm turn the legend into a boxed amber before slowly tapering of and leveling back to 0.Amazing.....just try to fathom how many man hours had to go into this piece of simulation alone…

Hallo everyone,I have a strange issue. During the last week I hae installed two pieces of software, the fabulous MD11 and the ActiveSkyX/XGraphics-bundle. After that all my planes are initialised at about two feet above ground, falling down said two feet and FSX registers a landing.Now most of you probably think, why care, and honestly I don't, but it would be fun having the plane start on the ground like it used to.This now happens with all planes, defaults and old third-party planes that have served me well before.I have reinstalled MD-11 a few times (also have some troubles with the panels, read more here in my so's thread http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...o…

Does anyone else think the engine sounds are very strange on full throttle? When I set them for takeoff, the cockpit gets very very quiet, and all I can hear are the rolling of the wheels, the bumps, and the wind. The engine sounds go from faint, to non existent. This can't be on purpose, I would at least hear a growl louder and louder even if the engines are far behind the cockpit. Is this a known issue? I have a sound blaster xifi running windows vista x64 with the latest drivers

Firstly, the MD11 is a fantastic product! I just have a question regarding the designations on the buttons in the VC cockpit. These are white with the buttons black. These sometimes become fuzzy and unreadable whilst flying. I find that if a turn on the fcp light it improves the clarity. I have a 8800GTX card with QX6800 @ 3.2. Is there any specific card setting to enable better clarity?Andrew
