Hi guys,I was just wondering if there's a UPS livery available anywhere for the PMDG 744F in fs2004? On the website, there's one for the FSX edition.Just wondered if anyone knows where I'm able to get a UPS livery for fs2004.Many thanks,Kelvin

helloi've got the new 747 queen of the skies and instaled it.i have FS-X installed, with mega-szenerie-europe.OS = XP sp2the FS runns fine until now and i even fly online (IVAO)but after installing the 747 i got messages, that some dll's (from PMDG) cant be find.and i got CTD... :-(i even tried the workaround mentioned in help, to delete the .cfg and xml.dll , then un install 747 and re-install...but still no luck....why this dll's cant be found?should i register them myself??and one thing i recongnized....my menu-entry for starting ivap- application (squak-box) was missing (i re-installed and its here again)any help on this?...would be nice, this baby cost a lot of mone…

Anyone know of a PMDG 737NG panel merge to the Kittyhawk 737-800 or know of any tutorials that I could read and follow?I don't have the PMDG 737-800/-900 and I wanted to add a bit more realism to the kittyhawk 737-800.Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

Hi,I purchased the 747 and had little issue's with the product at all BUT still decided to upload the latest patch after visting PDMG's website.Now I am having countless issue's .......... mostly thick black smoke from the four engines after initial load at the gate.This wasnt there before and wasnt even an issue for a couple of hours after uploading the latest patch .......I didnt change anything in the settings that I am aware of so I presume its got to be the patch ...... can anyone please help.I am using FSX & Vista ....Thanks a million P.S.Also was considering buying the FS crew add on for the 747 ..... anybody think it's worth the investment

hi there, Can anyone help me. so far ive been using the type rate course lessons to help me understand the pmdg 747-400 fmc. The question i have is? In the cost index how or where do i get the information for the figures to put into this part of the fmc. Ive been ok up to now but i want to start my own route plans and i have know idea how you calculate the cost index figure any ideas please?

I have reloaded my flight 5 hours into a 10 hr flight EGLL-KSFO, but I cannot get VNAV.On restart the mode is shown as blank|LNAV|ALT, the IAS/MACH shows .842, and ALT at 34000 ft. Commanded speed in the AI is shown as .588 and airspeed is shown rising from .842 to OVERSPEED.I can press THR and it illuminates, and the mode changes to THR REF|LNAV|ALT, but then the a/c accelerates to OVERSPEED. If I press VNAV, it does not illuminate and the THR REF|LNAV|ALT just momentarily displays a white VNAV below the ALT.Entering a deviation heading and pressing SEL, turns out the LNAV light but the aircraft does not turn. Pressing it again illuminates the LNAV button.So I am without…

I'm a big fan of the 737 series. I've purchased the PMDG 737 package (including the next gen). I have recently attempted to take off LGA for BOS. However, I couldn't even get through the cabin prep checklist. Either I could not find the buttons/switches/lights the checklist refers to on the control panel, or I couldn't start the engines properly as described.I was hoping there was possibly a resource which would make it a bit easier to understand the checklist procedures, and where the various buttons are located (as well as what their function is).Perhaps this request is a bit of an oxymoron, as perhaps I am asking to learn how to fly the 737. I am thinking about purchasing the PMDG 737 but would like toget an idea what the VC framerates are like since that's the only way I would fly. My frames are pretty good with LDS and hope they are similar with the 737....comments/advice welcome.Cheers,Greg

HelloI have 737PIC, Level-D 767 and now PMDG 747, well, the PMDG keeps clocking up memory useage and no doubt if I fly for a few hours it might all run out, whcy is this and is there a solution?It starts at around 330k, with other planes it stays around that figure, with PMDG it hits 600k within 30 mins.I have MCE 2005I have just installed KIS 2009, just upgraded from 7, I don't think its the virus scanner as it only affects PMDG.krishan

I have just bought the PMDG 747 for FSX and am running Vista. The planes load perfectly, but I'm told that there is a menu bar that was supposed to appear once PMDG planes are loaded? Where in FSX do I find them, I've looked everywhereJeremy

HiUsing the 737-700NG, when I come into land using A/T, A/P, the disembodied "co-pilot/navigator" voice begins Alt countdown: "1,000"; "500" etc, and then just after "400" someone says something like "set 'em up" or something "up" and I can't make out what that command is. Does anyone know? Has it got something to do with my flaps perhaps?Brian

Hi everybody,I've just a question since we are always looking for better performance with fps intensive products we know that a constant defragging is important. I always used the XP default tool and I read on faqs that it is not quite efficent. So, being anyway my HD frequently defragged, do you think that using a tool like O&O I could get a performance improvement?Regards

Hello,Not sure why this is happening but sometimes ill be able to do a flight perfectly without anything happening. Others, i will be at fl390 or fl320 exc and i will randomly either stall or descend then slow WAY down... I usually use a cost index of 100-150 when i fly and get no FMC messages during the flights. The plane also fights to stay at the altitude it descends to, the nose is pointing up 10 on the attitude indicator. This time it did it to me when i was on a short flight from Seattle to San Francisco. I was at 390 and then it descended to 313 and slowed down to about 170kts or somewhere around there. Im not sure if the plane stalled or not, i was making some foo…

Hi,As a PMDG 744 FS9 user, I was wondering whether or not other people use FS crash detection?I was flying the Queen into KSFO the other night, and on the flare I had reduced my descent to the correct vertical speed, however when I touched down, the sim just stopped (detected the crash) and reset to the beginning of my 10 hour flight from EGLL!!So I just wondered what do other people do?Cheers,Ben

Hi all, Just a quick question. On the MCP I noticed that when my 737 catches the LOC, the APP button light goes out, is this normal? GS is displayed in the HSI along with FD etc etc, but the MCP light is off.

Is it normal in 2D view, when I toggle "W" for the first time, the Cessna six gauges show instead of the 737NG ones that I am flying? Or do I have to change settings somewhere? The Cessna gauges show all the correct info BTW, it's just odd to see them in a Boeing!Brian

Guys, I have had this wierd error. Just lookLook at the ground speed and then look at the other speed. I have reinstalled FSX like 2 times and the PMDG like 2 times but still not sure. Is it a repaint? I just reinstalled it tested it and it worked but then I installed some repaints and now it is not working. I have Vista 32bit and FSX with acceleration. The wierd thing is it calls V speeds but I don't see the thing move. It is wierd. Please reply and thanks!

Hi thereFirst post here. Have bought the PMDG NG 737-700 for FS9 and getting to grips with the FMC but something very frustrating is happening and I don't know why. I fly from Amsterdam to London Gatwick following all the procedures and entering correct information into the FMC, observing all the obligatory alt limits and speeds and letting the FMC calculate the rest for me. I approach Gatwick using TIMBA 2E STAR. Evry time that I reach LARCK wpt, where according to the STAR I turn 310 to TIMBA wpt, the aircraft starts wobbling and carrying on southwards out to sea. Funny thing is VNAV PATH is still lit up in the FD yet the aircraft is not following it. It just wobbles an…

Hi folks,I am preparing to build a homecockpit of a 737NG. My software shall be PMDG's 737-800 which like a lot. My pitfall at the moment is to move the FMC screen (in an ideal world it would only be the screen w/o the FMC-body itself) to a seperate display which is 5" but has 1280x720 native screen resolution. I found no way to shrink the resolution nor a way to size the window in a appropiate way so that it would fit into my engraved and milled FMC panel.Can you give me hint on how I could solve my problem and possibly only show the screen (like PM does??).Best regards,Phillip

Hi alli have just done a clean install of FSX+sp2 then all my addons, and when i load PMDG 747-400x for the first time all is good,but if i select a different 747-400x aircaft all the system's of off in the cockpit(like cold and dark).I have install the updata for it the 747,can anybody help pleasemarkAMD6400+9800GTX+3gig memvisata 32bit +sp1FSX+sp1+sp2

I recently installed Wilco 737 PIC and find that my PMDG 747X now do not work properly. It does not follow the magenta line (lnav) and it does not on the center line during autolands anymore. However, it works well again after i uninstalled the 737 PIC.Is this a bug or i need to install something ? I dont have FSUIPC installed.Regards,Steven
