Anyone know how to completly share cockpit by PMDG 747-400/400F for FSX on GameSpy? I mean to share correctly. Everytime I try to do it with my friend, there is one cockpit on my side and another cockpit on his side, different switches condition... No matter what I do such as raising fraps, turn on the APU and so on, no change on the other side. Any idea?

Hello all, I new here, but i am not new in virtual skies. I used PMDG 747 model, wich, I think, is the best model ever biuld for a Flight Simulator. So thank you, PMDG group for creating it!Anyway, 747 was the biggest passenger airliner for more than 30 years. There are newer models like airbus A340-600. I like this aircraft as much as I love A340-300 or A330-300/200. Unfortunately there isno good modelfor these aircraft. Well PSS did the great job with A330/A340-300 series but I think it istime for a newer aircraft.So is there any possibility of making an Airbus A340-600? Thank you for replies,airbus340

I was reading the reply,s to taxing a 747 around. I to have this problem, i would like to know is there any key commands to tell me what turns the nose steering left or right. Up to now ive been using rudder controls to do this, which isnt very realistic. Also paul from pmdg suggested i turn auto rudder off. I did this and now i have no nose wheel steering can anyone help me

Hi All...I have both the PMDG737 6/700 and the PMDG747.. and have just gotten over the learning curve (almost).. But I am having problems with Altitude in both:I am setting the ALT in FMC, and making sure that it is set correctly on the panel also. But I am having two problems with VNAV and LNAV engaged.1. Aircraft won't climb to the set altitude. VNav is on, FMC is set for FL370, and the Panel is set to 37000.. yet the aircraft climbs normally for a while, and then begins to lose altitude, loses speed, and almost stalls. I then have to override everything and slowly move it up by 1000 feet at a time... let the speed catch up and then do it again.2. And then on the de…

I am going to get a 40inc hd tv as a my display and use my laptop (17 inc screen) as the side window....what you think? (especialy from the PMDG team) any one else done this? if so whats it like? It should be useful as i am doing my PPL and then want to move on to the ATPL so it should be a good investment.Phil.

Hi People,I just recently had to download the 744 product again as i had to totally reset my computer. Everything works fine but the Flight numbers are not correct. EG. i want to fly the Japan airlines 744 and change the flight number to eg.32. When i use the IFR clearance, the Controller calls me Boing JA 8901 ?? what shall i do ?thanks Marek Ehrlich

On the 744, Delta Old colors- just like their old 747 classics from the 70'sAnd the current livery, which should be appearing on the NWA 744's in the next few years.TIATim

Here is a small little request or a question I have for your new and upcoming PMDG MD-11. Now this is not a big deal what so ever and does not effect flight but for people who like me who sound is a huge deal it would be a pretty cool thing to have. Anyway getting to the question is there anyway you can add in wiper sounds for when you turn them on? I searched all over avsim and there are no wiper sounds in flightsim.

Hi,I use 747X, Radar Contact V4 and Flight Sim Commander 8.3 (FSC). I'm running FSX (with Acceleration) on Vista.My question has probably been asked before but I couldn't find an answer by searching this forum.My problem is that when using FSC to develop a flightplan I cannot save the flightplan as a .rt file in the FSX/PMDG/Flightplans folder so that the flightplan can be accessed by the 747x FMC. I've set up the PMDG flightplan in the FSC Windows/Options/Flight Plan tab and tick the PMDG button in FSC to save.Doesn't anyone have any suggestions? It's very frustrating because at the moment I'm have to hand enter the waypoints into the 747X FMC by hand.Many thanks,Peter M…

Hi all. Running the 737NG on FS9. Is there any way to add the sound of the passenger door closing? One can hear the steps being hauled up so it would be nice to hear the 'thump' of the door as well.I assume that the sound has never existed on this model (I've never heard it) so any advice on how to modify the sound.cfg file to take this extra WAV would be much appreciated. doesn't have wingflexthe wings on the PMDG 737 are solid like bricksbut on the 747 they flex and bend even in turbulenceI think that wingflex would bring the PMDG 737 series to the next levelI have had the 737 series since 12/14/2005 and the 747 series since 1/6/2006.at first I loved the 737 series and used it all the timenow I find myself flying the 747 more and I could not understand whyI realized that the wingflex makes flights much more realistic(i also prefer long haul routes)is there wingflex planned for the NGX???and could an update be made for fs2004

I have some strange problem with my CH pedals and the Beechcraft 1900D.When i press in the left toa breake about halfway in, then it cut the energy on both propels right away.Its all ok on the right toa breake, its only on the left one.When i start default aircraft, then its all ok, so its only on the PMDG one.When i unplug the USB and plug it back in, then its OK agein till next time i shut down and start FSX agein, then same things happend.Also when i unplug the USB till the CH pedals, then i have to calibrate the pedals agein, so i thgink this is all to much work before the flight starts every time.I dont see any other way to fix this then1. go back till default beech2…

I've just installed FSBuild and I was hoping to export an .rte file to my PMDGFLIGHTPLANS folder (for the 747), but upon pressing the 'Build' button I get the following error message:ERR -Unable to Create PMDG737NG FMC File PMDGFLIGHTPLANSEGLLKJFK.rteI've gone into the options folder and selected my FSX install directory using the browse button next to 'FS2004/FSX' cfg, but still no joy. I also have only the PMDG 737/747 MSFS option selected in the 'Export To...' menu.Can anyone shed any light on this for me?Cheers,Ed

Hi,While setting up the FMC for a flight from London Heathrow (EGLL) to San Francisco (KSFO), I worked out the optimum altitude and put this into the Cruise Alt section of the FMC, only to receive the message "UNABLE NEXT ALT". Just wondered why I received this?Also, how accurate is the fuel consumption on the PMDG 747? I was watching the ITVV 747-400 on the same flight (same route and similar load) and they only had 122.2 (x 1,000) kgs of fuel, I don't get anywhere near that low when I calculate. Hi.I have downloaded the latest AIRAC Cycle 0808,but Have found that Manchester Airport (EGCC) in the UK doesn't seem to be in the database.I have looked for a procedure to download on the NAVDATA website under the SID/STAR section but cant find anything there.Could anybody please tell me if there is another site where I can download the data for the FMC?Also I have also tried downloading from the NAVDATA site FMC data for the old Hong Kong Aiport, Kai Tak (VHHX).There is data on the site to download but cant seem to make it work,if anybody could help me with that I would very much appreciate it.Thanks.Tony

hi all, just a point on feasability. i fly the 737ng frequently and i have this question. if you loaded a flight plan into the FMC using airac 0808 and saved it, would this flight plan be valid if you flew it at some point when airac 0809 was current, or would there be discrepancies in the 0808 against the 0809. its something i have not tried but wondered if it would work properly. thanks in advance for any replies. richard welsh.

Hello,I'm currently on my intitial flight with the new patch (KSFO ==> KSTL). Everything has gone well except for one thing. When first turning on TCAS (above and relative selected) there were many aircraft shown with 999 for altitude.Went into PMDG options and noticed "show all traffic" was selected by default. So I deselected that option. I left max aircraft (100) and FSUIPC selected as I normally do. In this mode I see no aircraft displayed. When I turned "show all aircraft" back on I noticed there were 2 aircraft within 1000 feet of me. But when "show all aircraft" is turned off I see nothing. Tried changing above/below and abs/rel but nothing ever shows up. So for…

Greetings, Using Windows xp, fs9, have PMDG 747 and 737 all models. Now, I can't seem to load any nav data in the FMC's. All airports entries come up with the same "not in database" The FMC show the NAV DATA9 AIRAC-0313 DEC 25 JAN21/04 loaded. I am following the manual page for page and when it gets to the entering of an airport in "not in database" comes up.Am I missing something? I have reloaded and all looks ok. All seems to be in order in database files and such. Following the advise from the manual it says update files by going to Navdata.at and download file the "All in one installer" to update. Well, I can't see that either on the site.Just a little frustrated…

I really need some help!I'm interfacing the It's Your Plane software with the PMDG 737-600.700 for FS9. There's a weird thing going on with the HDG in the PFD displaying a TRUE instead of MAGNETIC HDG. For example, when I position the aircraft on Runway 08R at CYVR, the HDG displays 100 degrees. (NOTE: This applies to ALL airports.) I cannot find a setting in the PMDG documentation that addresses this issue. Can someone please enlighten me?Thanks a lot in advance,Robert Cezar
