I was just wondering if there are future plans for A380 or Boeing 787 for both fs9 and fsx. I was young and dumb when I bought the abacus 787 and the afs a 350. Do not waste your money on that. Also how hard is the fmc. How many hours would I need to master it. I have the pmdg products but not used them yet. Have a couple of days off now to invest some time into it. Thanks guys. Wonderful pmdg products.

hi,im new on this forum,i need some advice on what type of mcp /autopilot to purchase. i would be mostly flying the pmdg 747x or the leveld 767 in fsx.ive being looking at couple of them especially the goflight mcp-pro but this one cannot interface with pmdg 747x as yet but a company is working on it.i also looked at opencockpits mcp.any help to let me know what others feel about these mcp's.glen

I hope this is the right place for this. Is there someone who can convert my personal livery for my VA from FS9 texture to the DX5 textures for FSX. I am unable to convert them. Ken

I'm sure this sort of question is tiresome, so I'll be brief. Several years ago, I jumped ship to Mac. This, of course, meant that I almost entirely stopped using FS. Now, though, I'm preparing to buy a new Mac. Thanks to the wonders of the Intel transition, I plan to get back into it, and experience the wonders of that gorgeous 747 I've been drooling over for years. Hi, my name is DavidI have just installed 737NG, for some reasons, my MCP, Flight Instruments, Engines and APU display is a flat black screens, no idea why. Hi,Still a newbie, I guess...I have flightplans programmed into the FMC, and everything works smoothly. But it gets late, I save the flight and the next day I want continue where I left. But when restarting the flight from the save point I cannot get the FMC to track the course again... LNAV means I start heading back to the take-off airport. Suggestions welcome, thx./ aro

I don't know how to see the elevator-trim position at B1900C when use virtual cockpit, nor I can find any FS9 key/command to set trim to neutral. It is a problem when take off a second time without reset the flight.Is there any indicator by default, or is ther any simply freeware trim-indicatior ?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has TrackIR Pro and uses it with their PMDG aircraft? I am seriously considering purchasing it and want to know if it is worth the money. When making a flight plan I normally insert intersections manually. Lately (6 months or so) I come upon the following. From the FS9 I pick intersections that can also be seen in Fs Navigator. When I try to input in FMC some intersections shows up as "not in database". I probably need update for the PMDG but where?

I only now realized that I haven't seen Lefteris replies for quite a long time and also noticed that he has started Flightsimlabs. Does that mean he is totally out of the picture. To be perfectly honest, to me Lefteris seemed unreplacable to PMDG being the lead technical developer (I think) and also being around for so long. That is of course doing unjustice to the rest of the crew and my first feeling - PANIC!!! - is I suppose a slight overreaction. :D Still, I was surprised to realize this since I haven't read about it anywhere. Or have I missed something?

Could someone confirm the Jettison still works after the update? I'm flying online OMDB - ZSPD and need to divert to VECC.I've done it many times before1. bring up fuel synoptic2. select Jettison A or B3.select both nozzles then turn fuel to remain knob I should then see green flow lines in the lower synoptic and jettison time?Rob

Hi,I have the 747X on Win XP SP3. The First Officer's PFD always displays the barometer reading as 29.92, no matter what the Captain's (and ATC's) reading is. "B" does not change the F/O display. Starting cold and dark, from a saved flight, or many other variations does not "fix" this. It's moderately annoying because the altitude is always wrong on the F/O side. Has anyone else seen this? PMDG ops and this forum did not turn up anything useful. I don't load or save panel states as I haven't figured out what they are for (yet).Thanks in advance,dan davison

Hi,I got the pmdg 737-800 today but when I engage the v/s or any other vertical mode with a/p, the aircraft violently trims up. Even when I set the trim myself before engaing the a/p, it always sets it to full trim up.Also, the a/t speed mode won't keep the correct speed, it always brings the n1 to flight idle.Please anyone help!Kind RegardsJonathan

So I am hoping to tap into the expertise here.I saw the following flightplan at Flightaware yesterday:UPS 9901 KSDF - KSDFMYS V49 BNA HSV D2+30 RQZ EWO IIUI was guessing some kind of training flight, as I saw multiple aproaches, although it was tough to figure out if there were actual T&G's.Anyway, my question was what does D2 mean? The respondant guessed it meant after the HSV VOR proceed direct to the 30-degree inbound radial of the RQZ VOR. This makes sense to me.So, is that it, "D2" is abbr. for "diect to?"

Hello. In my PMDG 737 series I'm having trouble installing the textures. Here is the problem. Just today I downloaded a Delta 737-700 winglets plane for the PMDG 737. So once it downloaded I moved the texture folder into the PMDG 737-700 winglets folder. I then updated the aircraft.cfg and believe me. Everything is 100% correct, i've checked it over like 80 times and everything is exactly how it shold be. Anyway, when I open FS and go to my PMDG to select it, the planes is not there and just to be safe I checked all the models but still no luck. Now I can use your installers really easily but when I try to manualy install addons from like avsim most do not work. I have go…

Hi I have been flying my new Ryanair 737-800 around but have a problem with the PFD. The planes good to go, FMC set up flaps set etc etc but there's red dots all down the airspeed speed tape until the aircraft is cleaned up, and again when landing once you start putting the flaps out, the same thing. It makes it awfully hard to see the flap bugs and ref etc, any ideas?Liam Mallon

I have started to experiment with different thrust settings via the FMC and 3rd party performance/calculation tool.No problems really but I wondered if the FMC thrust logic is working ok because at some point in the climb the EICAS readout changes from , say, CLB 2 to CLB and this is without any pilot intervention.Presumably the reduced climb operates up to some pre determined altitude or to a point just prior to Cruise mode?Nigel Thomas

Hi can anyone help me. I have the pmdg 747 x and when I start the sim with the engine on the primary flight display is on just for few second and than the display goes black.when i start the sim in cold and dark the primary flight display don't turned on even with the battery and apu on. any suggestion how to turned the primary flight display on?thanks
