    Suddenly my approach selection page in the FMC is blank. I'm trying to setup a route from KLAX to KSJC. After putting in all the waypoints, the last one I select the button for approaches on the FMC, but the screen is blank. I downloaded the sidstars database into fs9pmdgsidstars and the nav data into flight simulator9fmcwpnavdataThe approach pages works correctly when I go from KSJC to KLAX, just not when trying to find the KSJC approaches... And one more problem, right when I enter the to and from route it gives me an error message, that it can't find a certain runway. I never entered a runway yet, all I did was enter KLAX in the from and the KSJC in the to settings for…

    Has anyone noticed missing landing lights in FS9; they are shown in the spot and tower views but they are not visible from the main panel. Everything is visible in FS2002. Thanks, rw

    This evening on a flight from KATL, I noticed that no runways or SIDs were available on the FMC while programming a route. I've seen a number of major airports without SIDs (not a biggie, really), but none without departure runways.Any clues?

    Hi all,just took her out for a spin tonight from YBBN to YBCG (in FS2k2). I did not program the FMC at all, just took off, set my altitude and speed on the MCP, auto throttle and FD on when I tried to hit HDG SEL nothing happened???     Fellow Captains,While SU1.1 fixed the most obnoxious problems with VNAV, there have still been some complaints, and I've noticed the issue below.If you adjust your MCP altitude when VNAV is engaged, particularly in a climb or descent mode, the aircraft seems to ignore any constraints entered in your route, and you'll often get a VNAV disconnect with an "unable next alt" message.The way to avoid this is to get in the habit of disengaging and re-engaging VNAV if you make any changes to the MCP altitude.     I'm currently working on my first SID/STAR. It is for ENTC, and I've used several hours (days) to get it right. The biggest problem I've run into, is the fact that I can't tell by the syntax to make a left or right turn to get to a fix/navaid. Sometimes it is required to turn 180 degrees or more in order to reach next fix/navaid. If there was an option like that, ie LEFT NAVAID and RIGHT NAVAID, it would make it much easier! Like it is now, I feel it is to much time consuming writing a SID/STAR, trying to "fool" the logic. And this will probably be my first and last one, unless there will be a left/right syntax. Maybe the SID/STAR of ENTC is extraordinary, but I doubt it.…

    Don't know why but I do not have the load manager for the FS2004 version of the 737. I did a complete HD search and I do have the laod manager for the FS2002 installation but nothing for FS2004. Where can I get it and shouldn't it have been in the PMDG folder in the first place?Thanks,William

    It seems that whenever I am on ground or APU power (yes, APU gens on), I lose all avionics power after a few minutes. Everything shuts down, including the FMC. This makes realism a tad difficult, because of not wanting to waste fuel going through pre-engine-start checklists and IFR clearance. ;)

    Godd morning all,I just got my 737...incredible. I am having just a few little problems and it's probably operator error. First, I downloaded the SIDSTAR from the PMDG website about a week ago (something like 1September or 31August). I did just as instructed, unzipped all the files into the FS2004/PMDG/SIDSTAR directory. I checked to make sure all the files unzipped into that folder and ran FS9. When I opened up the FMC and tried to load my origin airport under the RTE screen (I tried KDEN, KLAX, KSFO, KSEA...) it kept saying NOT IN DATABASE in the lower left hand corner of the FMC screen, where I had typed in the airport. Do I need to place those files in another…

    Fellow captains,Like many of you, I've had problems with getting doors and pushback to work. I've assigned single keystrokes to the functions instead of the usual CTRL-E and Shift-P commands, but still would never get the doors or pushback to work.But today I stumbled onto a workaround.If I load a saved flight with the PMDG aircraft already selected, doors and pushback won't work.If however, I reselect the aircraft - even if I use the same aircraft - the doors and pushback work as designed!So, my hypothesis is there's something in FS9 that causes it.

    Hi,Shoudn't the CONFIG message appear (Amber Color> message + quantity indicator) below the fuel quantity if the center tank has >726kg and pumps OFF + at lease 1 Engine Running? I tried this right now but the message did not appear.Bruno Francescoli.

    Gooday fellow pilots. Just a small problem.Previously when in FS2002 when switching to the overhead panel the main panel used to hide. Now in COF the overhead panel opens behind the main panel. Not a huge issue as such but if I can get it fixed all the better. Is there something I can change to make this work. Sorry if this has been discussed earlier.Thanks in advanceJohn K

    Hello Guys!First of all, i am enthusiast flying the PMDG 737, a very outstanding panel/airplane.I have been flying this panel for more 1 month and half, and i have installed last patch, SU1-1.After installing this upgrade, i discovered that:1 - If i activate VNAV just after takeoff (when i am still below 1000 feet), everything runs ok and the whole flight will'be regular.2 - Instead, when i activate VNAV during climb (i.e. above 4000 ft or more) i get unable to activate VANV and the message "CHECK MCP ALTITUDE" appears on the FMS' scratchpad.At this point, i wonder: what's the correct procedure to use VNAV during a flight?Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello,I tried to enter a destination of KMIA into the FMC on a flight from KCHS -> KMIA. Upon entry of KMIA as a destination, I get the following error on the FMC: KMIA err: LUCSS unknown.Other destinations work OK - I.E. KFLL or KJAX.     I know you might not have the time to make up sid's for every tiny airport in the world.But at least have SID/STARS for the major airports on the US?Another side question:Why not use FSNavigator sid's? they seem to have plenty of them. Maybe come to an agreement with them :)

    Has anyone else noticed that when approaching Simflyers KPHL airport, the plane will not pick up the ILS on either runway 9L or 9R.?I have been to their homepage to see if an there was any mention of this but found nothing. I have several of their airports but this is the only one I have found where this problem exists.When switching to any other plane, the problem seems to disappear, except with the PMDG 737.Just curious if anyone else has found this problem also?Roger Hollands

    Hi all,I know that there isn't an option that lets you save all the aircraft parameters and the FMC status of the 737 when saving a situation. This is because FS2002 does (of course) not save the 737's parameters in the situation file.I think that this is a feature that is really missing in this product. Anyone knows if such a feature will be provided by one of the next updates? I hope so!     Hi all!Just bought PMDG737NG. After some installation on my P4 2.0 Ghz win2000 with fs2004 it was time for a first flight. I ran into trouble right away.Here is what i experienced:Manual takeoff ok, normal behaviour. At 3000 feet, I engaged autopilot with mcp speed set to 250knots, MCP alt set to FL230 and engaged V/S mode: Result surprised me, Pitch up to 35 degrees, power down to 30% N1, stall and crash....Hmm, tried a FMC controlled takeoff, Entered data, gor a V1,VR and V2.
